although u and winter are having this conversation that was my answer this will likely end up getting deleted like most of my questions, but here goes:
the first race the busch brothers crashed into each other -
what was it called, how long was it, and where was it?
they got into each other during the Castle Rock Court 500 in the cul-de-sac near the Busch family home. Kurt was about 14 years old at the time; Kyle was about 7. zooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... We all know it occured at Daytona in 06 I'm pretty sure the only time I've seen them wreck each other was at the All-Star race last year, if there was one before that I don't recall it.
They did? It is? It's total chaos at my in-laws on race day, must've missed it.
I remember the crowd roaring. Darn it I give up, I have a google induced headache looking for the answer. My guess is it was at the Bullring in Las veags when they were racing each other there in Legends cars back in 1999.

No but i like his skills Sure. If it makes you happy. Sure, I guess so. Will leave that answer to the ladies, but he does add to the excitement of the chase and generally a good sport as well as competent driver. I think he is kinda cute but just for you I'll say sure he's hot!! No but I'll be at your wedding to him. Wouldn't miss it for the world. isnt that jeff gordons ex????? I just hope that neither Kyle Busch or Carl Edwards finish in the top 10 there. I'm so sick of hearing about them and their rivalry. I want to see somebody else win for a change. David Ragan would be cool, or Jeff Burton, Kevin Harvick, Greg Biffle....

but since it real close to the Chase and are all ready locked in 100 points wont even matter since they reset the points
what they should do is take away the bonus points they earned
Busch has a short memory because he did the same thing to Edwards all ready this year..and he will do the same thing to win a race
Busch should be definitely but not Edwards. Busch was unsportsmanlike after the race was over but Edwards was just racing and trying to win, you name one driver that wouldn't do what Edwards did to win!! Yes Yes, they are immute! Fair is Fair with other drivers!!!! NASCAR penelized Juan Montoya after he hit Kyle at New Hampshire, why shouldn't Kyle and Carl get penelized? naw thats nascar racing, but i do feel mandatory burpings should be mandated for those that need them.... BUSCH!! Report Abuse It was after the race was over. Speeds were low, but none the less, it was unsportsmanlike on both sides. What ever the penalty is, both should get the same. No I don't think they should. It's great they both showed personality and put the icing on the cake of a great race. NASCAR should take them to the trailer smack them on the wrist...and let them go. It was Dale SR., DW, RICKY RUDD, ETC the personalities that made me fall in love with racing in the early 80's. I don't think NASCAR should penalize drivers for bettering the excitement. Just an opinion as always. Hell no! This sport is not based on being a wimp! Yes but he should be Kyle not Carl Haha, I think that he recieved enough punishment by throwing a temper tantrum and being embarrassed by Edwards in front of thousands of people after the race, but then... LOL.
Edwards gave Busch the Bristol Bump and Busch throw a temper tantrum because the poor little baby didn't win. Maybe if they punish somebody it should be Busch because he was the one who ran his car into Edwards car after the race,.after he did this he wound up in front of Edwards car and Edwards had to give him a little push to get him out of the way. I think N.A.S.C.A.R. should take Busch out to the wood shed and use the hickory switch on his spoil-ed brat butt to teach him to work and play well with the other drivers. It would make things a lot more interesting if they took 100 points away form Busch. It would turn into a two horse race. Yes. Since others have been punished doing the same thing, it is only fair that penalties be given. I'm not sure if 100 points is what others have gotten, but NASCAR should be consistent. No. Its short track racing. They have been bumping and running since they figured out they had a front bumper.
My guess they will get something because NASCAR has been pretty strict in the past about playing around after the race. I wondered that last night. It will be interesting to see if they get punished. I personally think they should not be punished because
Bristol is Bristol. i think nascar should give them each bonuses. they not only made bristol exciting again, but they've really ratcheted up the excitement level for the rest of the year...
as for the comparison to the montoya-busch incident, that happened under yellow, and you don't mess around under yellow. they could have taken out other competitors who had nothing to do with their problems with each other. it is more like the tony stewart-kurt busch thing before the bud shootout. at most they should be put on probation, but that would probably take half the excitement out of the rest of the year. no!!

In Carls i would have nudged him like he did to get him loose enough so i could pass and i would have completely turned into him like Carl did once i was bumped.
In Kyles I would have tried to block said push and probably take both of us out. So -shrug- 1-If I were in Carl's position, I would've done exactly what Carl did. Push me, I'll push back.
2-If I were in Kyle's position, I would've just let it be. Carl did nothing to warrant that, I mean come on... I would have done exactly what both drivers did almost. I would have moved Kyle and if I were in the 18 car I would have hit the 99 a lot harder after the race. I would have used the bumper trying not to wreck the other driver. Carl did it perfectly. We all know Kyle tried to do the same. He is simply disappointed because his attempt failed. I can't blame Kyle for his anger, but, all these drivers forget about who they have bumped, or wrecked in the past. That is why they are competitors and fun to watch. aw if only we were but we're not nascar drivers so...cant answer that one It's not like Carl spun him out or crashed him, he just did a nice bump and run..and I would;ve done the same. Kyle always overreacts when it is done to him what he always does to others. If Kyle, I would have let it go. I'm surprised that shrub didn't hit him harder. But this stuff is what I'm talking about!!! Let the drivers race and let them have a personality! I think the fans at Bristol should all get together and tip the 'Nascar Hauler' on it's roof. Rubbin's racin' - isn't that the rule?
Add: It kind of reminded me of days where Earnhardt and Waltrip were at it. Or Cale and Richard. That is what makes the racing exciting. Let the drivers race. Carl's. I would not mess with Rowdy for an extra 15 points and 10 in the chase It's a curse I tell ya look at the last person to contend with him, Dale.Jr he has stinked badly lately, Kurt Busch after the Nextel All Star Challenge 2 years back consecutive finishes of 17 or worse 7.
Kyle's I'd spin Edwards and then radio in to Hamlin and say to run him over. And then to Stewart and Stewart to Newman Newman to Kurt Kurt to Matt Matt to Greg Greg to David David to Jamie Jamie to Casey Mears Mears to JR and Gordon you get the impression that I don't like Carl Edwards. I think what carl did was right he should have gone for the win and he did. If Kyle was in carl's position he would have done exactly the same thing. I think "the fireworks" after the race just shows how much passion Kyle has and how much he loves to win. I woulda wrecked Carl. Yes I would have hit him after the race. Call me a sore loser but after the race my emotions would be running high like they do with any good driver so I probably would have hit him. Then by tomorrow morning all would have been good You couldn't have done anything better than what Carl did. And to prove what he did was right, look what Kyle did immediately after the race was officially over. And look how fast Carl reacted to "spank" the young Busch. Kyle shows us how deceitful he is. Carl is just a methodical race winner. I would have put Howdy Doody in the wall,joe gibbs racing have been cheating all year anyways. I can't say what I would have done but Carl could have really messed up the 18 but he only gave him a nudge and spun him around. And in the post race interviews he refused to trash talk against Shrub. That's a class act. I'm an even bigger 99 fan than I was before. What a show! 1. Same thing as Carl.
2. I would've let it go. I already have clinched the #1 seed in the Chase. I don't need to worry about much except winning the Cup. Just think it's a relavent question for tonight. If you were in Carl's shoes or Kyle's for that matter.....what would you have done??? Would you do what you had to do to win....or would you settle for second. And if you were in the #18....would you have had fireworks afterwards? if i were carl i would do what he did bump take a lead and go like he said busch did it to him at richmond and as for the bumping afterwards if someone does it to you do it back if not than your are being a girly dude

If I was in the 18 and all that happened like it did I probably would have done the same. Even if it didn't warrant it I would just be too upset losing a race I dominated and wouldn't be able to hold it all in. I agree with Winter Glory. Carl did what any other driver would have done to win. Everyone says they want it to be like it used to, this is how it used to be. Guys would move other guys to get the win. Kyle is the most bump-happy driver out there. He could be 3 laps down and he would bump the leader to get a lap back.
I just want to add Winter Glory's answer proves why she is one of the smartest and most respected people on here. She is one of the biggest Kyle Busch fans here but she still is very fair in her answer and she isn't biased. She tells the truth. Thank you Winter Glory for showing everyone else here how they should be. You have helped me, I know that for sure. Tonight was a great race.
If I were Carl Edwards, I would have done the exact same thing that he did. Like Carl said in his post race interview he though "would he do that to me and he has before". Payback is a you know what Kyle.
If I were Kyle Busch, I wouldn't of done that after the race. He is a sore loser and what does it matter once the race is over. It's not going to change the outcome. The only thing Kyle did was put some damage on both cars that the crews back at the shop have to fix. There was no point to his "payback". And Carl did NOTHING wrong. I would have done exactly what Carl would have done... Sorry Rowdy.. This is the begining of a great rivalry, if these two guys take it to far, the guy in 3rd place might have some fun with this.. Calif next week..Carl & Roush is good there..Bring it on..

The race sure didn't live up to my expectations for a night race at Bristol. It just isn't that exciting to watch cars get strung out so far that tne most interesting action on the track is a lead lap car trying to pass a lap car. I had some friends over to watch it and we ended up watching preseason football more then the race. The gap between the elite teams and the rest of them keeps growing, and by doing so decreases the exitement of the races. On any given weekend, only about 6 - 7 drivers have a real shot at winning a race (barring any fuel or tire issues) A better word for it is nerve wracking.
How would you like to see the #99 in your rearview mirror for over 300 laps? Every bristol race is exciting. My driver didn't win but i still enjoyed the race. i hate watching a race that i like and watching one driver rule the whole race, the edwards got to the lead and sped of to win, no close finish, 1 out of 2 drivers were going to win and on top of that the 2 drivers were the only 2 i didn't want to win.
on a related note, who hear wants anybody to win races except kyle or carl. was we watching the same race cause i seen one hell of a race! It was the best one in a long time. i love dale jr but i also like anyone who is keeping kyle from winning which has been carl for the last few weeks. so i

Isn't that the way its supposed to be? And besides, even though Kyle led most laps, he didn't win. Carl's pass was definitley exciting and entertaining. And then Kyle's little hissy after the race just added to the entertainment factor. I've been to worse Bristol races. The first and last 100 laps were exciting, the middle were boring. The Carl and Kyle show is getting pretty boring to me. i agree, the frist 500 laps were boring, but the 501st was the best.
