unlocked and ready gsm cell phones Hate 'em and with a passion. Lamest races of the year by far. part of me says keep em for safety reasons, but part of me says let them ponies run... It would be interesting to see the cars over 200 mph. However, the truth is they race closer with them ( especially with the COT car) and only the veteran drivers would have an advantage since the've driven without them at the super speedways. I used to hate them.
However, they are the only tracks where the COT has improved racing, so I have learned to love them! LOVE EM!!!!!
It's where Jr. and Gordon rock!!!
They are the cream that rises to the top when we go to 'Dega or 'Tona Restrictor plate racing is not true racing so leave them. It's only exciting for the fans. If there was not restrictor plate racing Dale Sr would still be with us. I like them but many times feel their races are to long. maybe cut their races in half, give the drivers a break in there.. seems like in the middle one race they all just ride. if you cut that part out. I LOVE them. otherwise i HATE them.. Love 'em! I say leave them now that we have the COT. I think it is safe enough to run faster. I realize they were needed before now, but think the drivers would be safe without them now. Maybe even safe considering the field wouldn't have to run in big packs. I love 'dega bring it on Dale Jr and Jeff Gordon should have a great race..and one of them will be in Victory lane.. Dale Jr will win on the 5th its my birthday....go win it Dale Jr..
Go Dale Jr & Hms they cant run wihout them they would go airborn
thats alot of power with that high of gear Love 'em or leave 'em, you better gain way, you better hit bullseye this kid don't play... oh, what were we talking about? Restrictor plates? They're better than our favorite drivers dying, that's for sure. love em
there awesome they always go down to the last second i like the race at the plate tracks. it really keeps the racing close. they are there for safety reason for drivers and fans. so they are what they are. but would like to see the cup cars run over 200. I'm 50/50!
On one hand our team has a lot of success there.
On the other hand, it can tear up a lot of equipment real fast and that is a lot of time in the shop. Luv em! Makes for an interesting race! I don't like them but, Elliott, seems to do well at R.P. races so, for now, they can stay. I like the races, but i think I could do with out them. So I would say leave 'em. I'm a simple girl, I'll take any kind of track they put out there..
Love em' Love em. Love 'em!!! I can't wait for Talladega this weekend! Too bad I'm probably going to be out of town and miss it :( I say get rid of them, but I can understand that they make racing at the superspeedways safer for the fans and the drivers. I like them! It would be hard not to like them, they are so exciting! This next wk should be great, can hardly wait! My choice would be leave them. It is like the chase in a way. Something needed to get done but at what sacrifice? Both with and without have their pros and cons. leave'em, leave'em,and ummmmmmmm oh ya leave'me LEAVE 'em!
I have too many reasons that I dislike them to list here. Get RID of them and bring back the REAL competition!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOO J Gordon! i do not like restirictor plates leave them for speed..love them for safety. Hard to say. I absolutely love plate races. They are so exciting and so fun to watch. Hate 'em but understand them as being necessary. I wish they would just make the engines smaller, change the car body shape back to the older cars, keep the COT wing and chassis, and then remove the restrictor plates. love'em

milezilla All you have to do is look at where he's at, and where the DEI cars are at. I don't really think he's in their shadow as far as the team sees him. But he is in their shadows as far as the points go right now. I think he made a good choice leaving DEI but I think he made a bad choice of keeping Tony Eury Jr as a crew chief. As long as he has Tony JR as a crew chief he will always be in the shadows. Tony Jr sucks. Yes he made the best choice. Now we get to see how bad of a driver he truly is and no one can blame it on "the evil stepmother" anymore!!
The truth is coming out for Jr Nation now. It's only a matter of time that they see they've been cheering him on for who his daddy was and because of the media attention. In 20 years he will only be remembered as Dale Sr's son...which is kind of how it is already.
He only has one win this season and is not performing any better than at DEI. Just 2 years ago he finished like 3rd in points, now he's lower than that at Hendrick. Let me guess, it's all Tony Eury Jr's fault I don't think Jr. will ever be in anybody's shafow because he has such a fan base but i do think he has to get in better shape.Did you see him at the end of the race.He couldn't even talk to the media.he had a wet towel on his head.Jeff Gordon was in better shape at the end of the race and he was really sick. Earnhardt is his own man. He had to get out of DEI because his step mother was dragging him down and DEI Jr. knows the business plus
how to drive
Too bad Sr. put DEI mostly in her name No reason to double guess
What is done is done ^^ lol..
I thought I was going to be the only one that said no.
He'd be fairing better right now in the #8 car.
I know, I know, bad engines. Whatever engine problems DEI had last season, seems to be fixed now, doesn't it? 1. He hasn't had a single DNF all season
2. He made the Chase
3. He's got a win
4. He has been leading his team mates all year up until this point
5. May I remind you that next week we go to Talladega???? It was the best move he made. he got his wins and running consistent. Nope. But my list of reasoning means nothing at this point. He made his bed and now must lay in it. Amazing that last year I said if he wanted a new start he would have gotten a new crew chief as well and now that has become the next excuse on a long list by some of his fans that disagreed with me. I think it was a good move to leave DEI. While Jr. may have only won one race so far this year, he's doing a lot better than last year. yes he defiantly made the right choice. Yes on leaving DEI and no on being in a shadow.
HMS has 3 of the 4 teams in the Chase DEI -0-. HMS has 4 wins this year and DEI -0-.
HMS has been in the top five 30 times & DEI 7. HMS has been in the top ten 47 times and DEI 19. Seems to me he made a pretty good choice. Well he is in the chase and has won a race.. There is the baggage called crew chief that I wish he could have left behind... I'm happy he is there at Hms, the best move he could have ever made.
Go Dale Jr & Hms yes he made the right choice and no he's in no shadow No I dont think he made a mistake leaving DEI.
I wasn't expecting miracles this year. He is doing pretty well.
Now next year, I expect more wins.
I do wish that he wouldn't of taken Euty JR. with him. I think he needs to have a different crew chief. I do think he made the best choice! But he should have left Tony Eury behind. Eury is definitely not as solid as a crew chief as his father..but I guess you could say the same about Earnhardt now couldn't you. But yeah he's in the shadow of the #48 and #24. and do you think he's in the shadow now of the 24 and 48 team? Yes he did. He's in the final twelve. No he is not in anyone's shadow. It's obvious it was a good move. At DEI, Junior couldn't even run a race without something going wrong. He's doing fine at Hendrick. No he didn't make a mistake yes i think he is being Shadowed by Johnson not Gordon because Gordon isn't doing any better but Jimmie is on his way to win his 3RD CHAMPIONSHIP and it is getting old and boring. 1. No, he didn't make a mistake by leaving DEI
2. He's making his own mark at Hendrick.
It's just that the 48 team has their mojo working big-time right now. Good choice yes....but I think DEI would have been better if JR was running it instead of the dumb ***** who is HENDRICK MS. #1 Junior casts the biggest shadow, but Junior will always try to do what he has to do, to make his fans happy.

dolar rent maybe 1 and 2 or 2 and 3, they are doing well right now, especially jimmie and jeffy.
Well since casey mears is always the one out of the three that drops back in the field not so good. But if your watching the race right now casey up front along with 24 48 88. So well just have to wait and see but I say its immanent. They got 2 in the top 5. not too bad.
TOOL, what a strange group. Ok music, horrible live.
Not good since a Roush car is going to win again this week! Dont worry.. Nascar will give it all its got to make it happen! Slim to nil. Hendricks isn't doing well this season and Roush and JGR have been amazing this season. Go JGR (Hamlin and Logano) and Roush, everyone. They have the best chance to win this week.

se k700i forum Well JJ was my pick for the win but since he's already taken I'll go with Matt Kenseth. David Ragan gets his first win. Im going with Concrete Carl. Greg Biffle has the momentum of back-to-back wins,so he's a pretty
good horse. If Jeremy Mayfield was racing today, I'd pick him. I also
have a good feeling about Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth. P.S. Carl Edwards will be the 2008 champ. I just don't think Jimmie has enough
momentum to do the 3-peat.
GO JEREMY MAYFIELD!!!!! Matt Kenseth am i to late to pick jeff burton good ol' va boy Jeff Gordon
I know this is going to sound wierd but they just announced Jeff gordon was not feeling well. I think that can actually help a driver focus. Seems like when they try too hard they make mistakes but when they just try to make the race and be patient they seem to hit their marks better and don't get frustrated. Standing in for greenbean today as this is usually his race lottery.
he's gone to see another race at the Martinsville Track.
So the way it goes is that you pick ONE driver only
Try not to repeat the driver
OKAY?
Clint Bowyer Jimmie Johnson Superdave, how could you beat me and pick #88. I'm still saying Dale Jr #88 its time, he and Tony Jr will get it together today.
Go Dale Jr & Hms I think Mark Martin will have a good race! 88 Dale Jr.

alaska airline milage Alonso would be better off remaining at Renault. He can't just jump from one team to another whenever he fancies. I tdon't think he should join Ferrari. What if his team mate does better then he does? That'll be a problem. I think Renault are already improving and it would be wiser for him to stay with them. Cracks are already appearing in Ferrari and he might just be kicking himself if he joins only to find that Renault are doing better
Bourdais... STR should give him another year at least. It's only his first year in F1 after all. I think he can still improve and do better Yes i agree i am glad Ferrari did not take on Alonso has Michael said in one website by saying if Alonso joins Ferrari i am leaving the Ferrari advisor job, has Michael is not keen on Fernando. 2009
Renault = Alonso - Buemi?
Torro Rosso = Bourdais - Senna?
Red Bull = Webber - Vettel vettel isn't going to renault he's going to red bull, with mark webber!
Who thinks Alonso should take the seat at Torro Rosso?
I know he's staying at Renault, he wanted Ferrari why not have a Ferrari engine...
Vettel's going so take his seat, i really hope renault build a brill. car for him, he's a driver and a half.
Bourdais, i also hope he retains his seat in Torro Rosso, anyone agree?

holocaust museaum washington The first one I saw live was the 07 Michigan race in June.
First race I saw on t.v I cant remember. I was 5 so I dont remember that far back to the exact race. the 2001 brickyard we had to get up at like 4 in the morning and drive down to indy. i was so tired Well I've never seen one in person and on tv I dont remeber the first on tv that I saw. But, the first one I watched where I became interested in Nascar was the 2005 Daytona 500 and Jeff Gordon won!!! That is when I picked him as my favorite driver. lol In person it was the 1980 Talladega 500, Neil Bonnet won the race. My dad and I sat on the grassy hill on the back stretch. I was hooked and have been going to races every year since. Can't remember...
But I know Jeff Gordon won it...and it was in 2003
That was a great day... Atlanta Motor Speedway 2005 The first race that I saw was the 2002 Pennsylvania 500. I was also lucky enough for my favorite driver, Bill Elliott, to pick up the win. He also won the Brickyard the very next week. The 1st cup race that I saw in person was the 1976 World (Now Coca-Cola) 600 at Charlotte (now Lowe's) Motor Speedway. David Pearson, my fellow South Carolinian, won. I was only 3 months old. (lol I wish)
I don't remember the 1st race that I saw on TV. Sucks to be old. : ) 2001 Daytona 500 but I didn't really start watching until mid-2002. On TV or in person?
On TV the 1988 Daytona 500.
In person, I didn't start going until just last year. My son is in the Autism spectrum, so we had to wait until he was older and could handle it.
Last year's race at LVMS was my first live race. First race I ever attended was a sad one, World 600 1964, when Fireball Roberts had that awful crash, Fireball and Fred Lorenzen were my favorite drivers back then... R.I.P Fireball. I was 11 y/o my mom would never let me go to the tracks before that. I watched them on TV ever since I was old enough probably 5 or 6 yrs old, yeah they were in black & white, but most of the races were on replay. I listened to them on the radio, they were not on TV every weekend like they are now.
Go Dale Jr & Hms The first race I've been to was Richmond. I forget the first race I watched. It was somewhere back in the 90s. The 1995 Daytona 500. This was only a few months after I met dale Sr. and this was my first race that I watched the whole thing. I recall Sr. coming in 2nd...and Sterling Marlin winning. I watched it on TV.
The first live race that I attended was the Miller 500 in PA and Rusty Wallace won it. Gosh, I used to watch the races with my dad when I was a kid and I really don't remember the first one. The first cup race I attended was Richmond. the NHMS race when Robby Gordon won cuz Tony ran out of fuel.
WHAT A BUMMER. I don't remember... all I know is that it was in the 80's and I cheered for Geoff Bodine. Daytona 500-1965 in person. Saw the first Daytona 500 broadcast live on ABC Wide World of Sports in 1959 I think it was, when the fight broke out on the track after the wreck on the final lap. I believe it was the 1992 Daytona 500 when the late Davey Allison won.
The last 10 laps it was a battle between Davey, Morgan Shepard and Michael Waltrip. I don't even remembering breathing the last ten laps because both Davey and Michael were my favorite drivers and to be there when one or the other one the 500 well words could not describe how i felt. ''72'' Dixie 500 @Atlanta 2003 - Sirius at the Glen
It was on my Birthday. Picked Harvick as my driver the same day too. Guess thats why I like the Road Courses so much :)
The first live race I ever saw was the Pepsi 400 in 05 at Daytona. my very 1st one i was to young to remember
but my moms got pics of me at bristol martinsville and charlotte 2006 Pennsylvania 500 - Live
2000 NASCAR Winston Cup Race at Talladega - First TV Race

invalid configuration palm Brian Kes *givin' some love to the younger Kes* Mark Martin! i'm going with Joey Logano. Kevin Harvick
CLINT B. Kyle Busch. HARVICK Got to put some faith in Kenny Wallace, what a great win that would be!! And not to far from where he grew up! i know the race is over, but i would have guessed the 18 car no matter what.
what i don't understand is why they don't have kyle run in the 18 every week. Matt Kenseth Carl Edwards!!
GO CARL GO!!!!! 1driver only
try to pick all different drivers
10 points Denny! lol Couldn't resist! I'm to late. huh?
My guess would have been Carl though, so I was wrong.... A bit late, but of course I'd pick Denny Hamlin. Brad Keslowski I'll pick David Ragan since no one else did. Stanton Barrett trust me im sorry i would pick a different driver but BRAD KESELOWSKI WILL WIN!!!!! Denny Hamlin Steve Wallace
