May be...

I think the top Chevy teams won't make a change, but some of the smaller, struggling teams may be tempted by another manufacturer to switch. Toyota might see an additional team or two switching over. If all of the manufacturers cut back, then no there won't be much change.

Maybe for the underfunded teams but i wouldn't do it as Chevy has dominated for the last 2 decades.

I think most Chevy teams will try to find someone to buy their engines and chassis from in the Cup series. I think JR Motorsports will move their Nationwide team to the Cup series and of course get their engines and chassis from HMS. It's probably going to become too expensive for teams to develop COT type cars for the Nationwide tams without support. I predict some truck teams folding up.

after hearing that gm is pulling sponsorship from a few teams i think things are going to change.owners are going to have to go where the money is.

Come on Jeff is a great driver. Brad Keselowski, Tony Sterwart and Matt Kenseth have all come from the rear this yr and won races. If Jeff's car is right on Sunday, yes he has a change and he can do it. I didn;t pick him in my fantasy I picked Edwards and Kenseth, but I do think Jeff can do it, and I'd be happy. We have 4 Jeff Gordon fans in my Nascar group, they are not down about Jeff's Engine, they are all doing their little positive vib's for Jeff.

I think the #24 team will be fine Sunday. They still have 2 practices tomorrow (hopefully no rain) and the whole race Sunday to get the car running right. The #24 team will probably use pit strategy to get to the front and work on the car from there. It's been proven this year that it is possible to come from the back of the pack and win so I think Sunday will be a good day for the #24 team.

JEFF WONT CHANGE HIS CHASSIS JUST BECAUSE HE BLEW AN ENGINGE. I DON'T THINK JEFF WILL WIN THIS WEEKEND BECAUSE WHAT HE IS DESCRIBING IN PRACTICE(REGARDLESS OF THE ENGINE BLOWING) THE CAR WASN'T CARRYING A LOT OF SPEED SO I THINK HE WILL BE BETWEEN 10TH AND 12 TH.

Yeah, that's too bad. But as long as the car is fast, I think Jeff is capable of winning on Sunday and I hope he does. I'm sure the Roush cars will be tough, though. I also think Brian Vickers will run strong; he ran very well there last year and won today's pole. But I'm definitely cheering for Gordon, and I think he can get a top five finish.

As long as his back up car is just as good as Cali or Texas, I think he'll be fine. The best drivers always find their way to the front, no matter how long it takes. This is typically a Roush track, but anything can happen in this sport, so we'll see what happens. I, personally, would like to see Mark Martin get win #5 at this track, but what good sports fan wouldn't hope for their favorite to win.

I like the way that you think ! They will get everything together and I hope to see him in victory lane.

How much longer until Robby Gordon isn't competitive enough to race in NASCAR?

When he files for bankruptcy and sells his cars to foreign race teams.

If Robby gets a reasonable sponsor I see him winning races again. Which would be nice, as he was never afraid to kick Junior's behind.

Robby Gordon is running on a true single-car team. He doesn't have teammates to get information from and doesn't get help from other teams like Marcos Ambrose gets help from MWR. I say as long as Robby can make the race, he can stay in NASCAR as long as he wants. Robby Gordon should do good at Infineon about a week from now. He is usually a threat to win on the road courses.

I don't get why you and Storm can't stop this feud between you two and make peace. It doesn't seem like either of you are benefiting from all this fighting.

I didn't realise he was competitive now. I mean, yeah, he gets in the race. But that's it. As long as he can keep qualifying, he will remain a fixture, though. Kind of a permanent back-marker if you will.

I like Robby and I hope he stays competitive enough to keep trying. You gotta give him an "A" for effort when it comes to running his own team with limited resources.

I think we will see Robby in NASCAR for a long long time to come. For a one man show I think he is doing pretty damn good, he makes the races each and every week.

I hope he hangs in there a little while yet. I don't know what we would do without him on the 1 1/2 and 2 mile tracks when we need a caution to re-stack the field.

i will give u this...........yea robby is not a force to be reckoned with.........in nascar,until the road courses.
put him in a truck or car that goes across dirt and rocks and he is a force.i will bet money that he will smoke about 90% of all the other drivers that race stock cars if put in a offroad vehicle.

ICE, I dont call him competitive now, look at him- hes 33-34th in owners points. And this isnt a bad year for him like David Ragan is having. He has been back there for a while.
