How often do they bring up "the fight" from 1979? Kenny Wallace said that NASCAR told them to stir it up It's good and bad. I have no problem with people asking as many different questions as they need to about an incident, but I hate when it is the same question over and over (Did Tony Stewart really wreck Kyle, etc.) but in the media it is not necessarily a bad thing. If they play it up, hopefully it gains a lot of interest and makes people want to tune in the next week. Many people will probably be watching tonight because they want to see if there will be any retaliation from last week's "monster of the week".
Those journalists have to pay the bills somehow, so there will most likely be another monster of the week incident tonight. Hey, anything for ratings.
How often do they bring up "the fight" from 1979? After a while, people should just move on to the next race? I speak because of the endless Kyle/Tony questions.
Seems too the media sometimes make a minor incident seem more important than other news in our sport. I call it 'monster-of-the-week syndrome', with the one 'conflict' being the so-called monster.

There wasn't a race where Tony wrecked Kyle, so I can't answer your question accurately. Now, about the race where Kyle's actions result in his own wreck... No, Tony had no where to go when Kyle went to shoulder and lost control and cut into Tony's path. It was a racing incedent and the best man won. You should have used grammar check go back to school

Kyle DID NOT CLEAR Tony when he went to block him. It's sad that he could have won the race without the block BUT he made a choice and it was not the right one.
IF you try to put a car in front of another one to block that person so that he does not go in front of you then you MUST make sure that as you turn your own car it is clear from hitting the car you are trying to go in front of. If you have seen most of the races from the past few years you have seen this before. Enjoy the race. First and foremost, Tony Stewart did not wreck Kyle Busch.
If he would have held his line instead of making multiple erratic movements he may have had a very close victory.
As it is Kyle Busch attempted to block and he wrecked himself.
Now, can we leave this topic to rest?! No. Tony would have passed him even if he hadn't ran into Tony and spun himself. He would have just finished 2nd or 3rd instead. No. And I don't think that Kyle Busch should had won, either. No, he was all over Stewart, Tony just tried to get him out of the way.webtv newsgroup

NASCAR itself is getting boring, They need to turn the drivers loose like in the old days man when i first came on here last year it was fun and there was alot going on.questions were asked that actually made sense,answers were given that u could rely on.now it is almost a waste of time to be on here.what can we do as nascar nation to make this a beter site so we can actually enjoy it? Because of a lonely female cougar who's young "trophy husband" isn't keeping her happy is using Yahoo to pass her time by creating multiple accounts and trying to be funny when all she is doing is impressing herself and making everyone else miserable in the process. Yahoo use to be filled with knowledgeable people. Now it is filled with a person who spends her time thumbs downing people who "calls her out" and who she considers is not her friend and will not give her best answers.
Some other people come on here and try to figure out creative ways of asking "Who is your favorite driver?" by adding a twist to the question like "Who is your favorite driver and would he be your favorite driver if he was sleeping with your wife?". Stupid questions like those are a waste of everyone's time and it's a degrade to the service Yahoo is trying to provide to the public.
There is a group of people in the NASCAR section that tries to act like they own the section. They'll do anything for an extra "Best Answer". To them they ask stupid chat questions and then give each other best answers so they can wear a Top Contributor badge because in the real world they are nothing else.
To make a long story short. The intelligent people left and the idiots far out-weigh the intelligent ones. People got tired of the hating and bashing "questions" generally towards Kyle and Dale Jr. The regulars here went elsewhere...FaceBook mainly...we chat and post there a lot. Moreso than here. Some of us also have our own little group and anything we want to know gets asked or commented on...etc...
I can look in here and answer a question and come back hours later to find nothing new. It's sad but nothing lasts forever I guess.
The spammers like the NIke ones or the "where can I watch NASCAR live on PC" whatever......YA can do something about them...they just won't. Plus it's summertime...and most are out doing stuff. Like me...going to sit by a friends pool this afternoon and have a little picnic. I will be home for the race though. I think that we should be a little tougher in our reporting. I still don't know where half of the former regulars (kiDD 82, etc) went. Some (like poor Prez) keep getting reported repeatedly. Others (like some I won't name) turned to trolling. It sucks, but it could be a whole heck of a lot worse. I can't think of any more improvement ideas, but if I do, then I'll get back to you. i agree with happee1. things are no different on here than they were 3 years ago when i first started coming on here. people come and go, but that's just a reflection of life itself. if you don't like coming here, good riddance. nobody likes a whiner. Destroy the Sith!! (AKA the Trolls!)
It's hard to think of 10 truly reliable people in here. tom p, David G, you, SuperDave, and a few others are the only ones who ask and give intelligent questions and answers consistently.
And really, the annoying questions about how to watch races for free is INCREDIBLY annoying. Also, the people that come in and rag on us about our sport drives people away. Stay strong in it BD!
Oh, and the same guy has won the championship for 3 straight years. That's a little boring. if your bored then don't go in first we need to get rid of the bots and the numerous where can i watch nascar online for free questions I can't say I disagree with you. But the thing is, all of Yahoo Answers is getting this way. It's not just NASCAR. there are a few self-righteous people who have multiple accounts that put themselves in charge of taking the fun out of it. Yes, it used to be fun, but every time I asked a fun question it got deleted. Too many trolls. Some days it seems like the only posts are...How is going around in a circle fun? Or where do they go to the bathroom? Or its just going around in a circle I could do that.
I know I got tired of reading those. I wish it could go back to just real NASCAR questions. School is out and the trolls are ramped, bored and entertaining themselves by annoying us when they should be outside doing something productive instead of staring at a computer screen all day. Wow, ouch how is that for a little sunshine this morning :)
Oh, it also has a little to do with It's summertime to and lots of vacationing going on and just being outside enjoying the outside before it's cold and dreary. I love the summertime! I just try to avoid the drama. If anyone wants to talk to me, add me on facebook. Nobody comes on here now because of the trolls and all the Dale Jr and Kyle Busch bashing. Questions like where can I watch races online for free? are asked 10 times everyday and take the spot of legitimate questions. People just got tired of everything and have left. The only way to fix it is to get rid of trolls.
