No. It just fell off during the race. The vibration could have loosened the bolt and fell off. These cars weren't made by God, **** happens.

I think the penalty is way to much but I think it might have just fallen off during the race

Good point, if they are bolted on properly they shouldn't come off according #29's crew chief, and it really did not give him that much of an advantage out there on the track..
