In 1990 during the 41st annual Southern 500 Bud Moore was furious!! His driver, Morgan Shepherd, has just been taken out by another driver. The other driver earlier in the race had been accidently tapped by Shepherd and sent into the wall. 42 minutes after repairs that driver came out of the pits squalling his tires he was gunning for the #15 car.
When he caught the #15 he deliberately steered into the side of Shepherd's car sending them both hard into the wall....ending both of thier days. Moore went running up the pit wall looking for the car owner and the driver of the other car. When ESPN asked where he was going Moore answered "We ought to go over there and work that boy's head with a hammer". Moore with the help of NASCAR was able to calm down before he reached that driver. So here's my question.....who was the driver that got Bud Moore so hot under the collar????
