What happens nows since Kyle Busch won the pole for tomorrows race?

He goes to the back of the pack (along with 4 other Toyotas), and Jimmie Johnson who qualified 3rd moves foreward. He'll get back to the front if his car holds out. The Toyotas don't look real good. Uh-Oh...Logano (in a Toy) just hit the wall in practice. Kurt is doing good this year.

What 88 said. Unless Kyle crashes and takes out many other cars trying to pass, they will get him to the front on pit strategy. He has the equipment-will take maturity and patience-which he doesn't have.

Does he get the Pole award? Yes he gets the Coors Pole award and gets a little bit of money that goes with it. (I think the pole pays $10K)

Funny little tidbit not related to your question. This is already the 2nd time the pole winner has had to move to the back this year. Winning the pole might actually be bad luck this year.

I won't bother to repeat what everyone has said above me. But what is most important is that he will not lose his pit stall position. I'm sure they choose the first pit out. That's a real advantage not matter where you start.
I think it's great that Kurt is in better equipment this year. It's showing every week!

He goes to the rear of the field and the inside lane moves up,giving my man Jimmie Johnson the first starting spot.However,Kyle will still be awarded the Coor's Light Pole Award.Kyle has a great chance of getting to the front(and winning)as he has:
A)a great car for this weekend(even after the engine change-he was in the top 5 in practice this morning)

B)enough skill and aggression to get the job done

C)the best average finishing position of all drivers at LVMS

It is great that the Busch brothers swept the front row at Vegas(their hometown track).I think we all expected to see Kyle doing good this year,but I am glad that Kurt is running up front and hope he keeps it up :)
