How will Paul Menard do with Yates Racing in 2009?

The only reason he had a ride at dei and now at yates is because of his dads deep pockets sponsoring the car. Yates needed the money not the driving skills of paul menard.

Given what he's done so far in NASCAR and who he'll be driving for this year, he'll again just be a field filler wasting his daddy's money.

I was going to say probably about the same as last year but with a new team....he might have any more struggles.....I HOPE NOT but it is a possibility. We all know how new teams have to take time to gel so it could be hard for him the first couple of weeks. Just an opinion as always.

he might win a race. He improved quite a bit last year.

I don't think he will be any better or worse with Yates. The car looks real sharp though!

Maybe they did enough testing before the testing ban went in to effect in 2009 that they will surprise everyone. I'm not going to bet my money on it though.

I think he might do just as he did with DEI. On the totem pole, Yates is around where DEI was at, so dont expect him to all of a sudden become better, or worse.mtm chip
