What's a wind tunnel and where is it?

May be...

  • A wind tunnel is a research tool used in aerodynamic research. It is used to study the effects of air moving past solid objects.

But...where I work..in the stairwell inside (no windows) if a door is open on one floor the stairwell is breezy and slams the door shut on another floor. Sometimes those heavy doors slam hard. I always called that a wind tunnel but I guess it isn't the same thing.gls vs glx
