If you follow Ebay close enough, you can get good deals. The older cars are worth more, but you can get better deals on them on Ebay.

No, but Digger isn't much of a distraction for me. No,not at all. Ha...yeah it is kind of ironic how a simple camera angle evolved into a cartoon and mini series and what not. That camera angle is awesome, and if that little critter is the only thing we have to put up with to see that angle, then OKAY...just think of how annoying it would be if Digger was sponsored. It could be as bad as that friggin' duck that walks across the screen during the race.

But yes, I do. Jimmie is a very talented driver, perhaps one of the best currently racing today. But it will take a lot to beat Jeff Gordon...Jeff is VERY determined this year and I am surprised he hasn't won a race. This should be an interesting season... catfish thinks he may be able to. That would be amazing catfish thinks I think it's Smoke's turn again. Little Jonah might be a Stewart fan anyway lol. no, and here is the reason why. The #48 team tested more than any other team at tracks that held cup races. With NASCAR's ban on testing at these tracks, they will not have the advantage they had over other teams in the past. That is the reason that Jimmie will not win 4 in a row. Well ... since you put it that way it's hard to say no. Can he? Sure. Will he? Perhaps. I sure hope not. He is due to have some bad luck in those final ten races. I would have to say yes. Right now it is still statistically possible for this year. It will be a good year for Jonah and Jimmy. I think he may be able to for our newest nascar fan Jonah! Four times in a row...why not, he certainly has the skill and equipment.

Kevin Harvick- hasn't won in 2 yrs, and only 11 wins total despite driving what were repainted #3 cars. No the sport would not die if JR quit but it also won't be the same. I can proudly say I am a JR fan and have been since he started in Nationwide. That is not to say I don't like other drivers and dislike several drivers (Kyle Busch) but I don't denigrate them for who they like. Treat me the same. Report Abuse it would go down but i don't think too badly. No single driver holds the keeps the sport in business. If it did, NASCAR would have folded when Dale Sr. died. I dont think you can Watch Nascar GAMES or RACES? You can watch nascar games online but I don't know about watching races. i don't think you can... I know that there is a online driver watch on Nascar.com but you have to pay for it... Check this website out and dont forget to watch this weekends race in Greenland. Its great racing.

I enjoyed that DVD very much. Wasn't Cole Trickle (Tom Cruise) supposed to portray Tim Richmond in that movie. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Tim Richmond die of AIDS? Was there anything about this in the movie? yes he was. Tim did die of complications from AIDS. After his death a former girlfriend came forward and said that she was HIV positive and likely infected him.

Seriously, it happens to all the driver's cars. I haven't noticed it. i guess ill be one of the few to say yea i did notice it lol. its not a big change but i think it gives the car a better look. I was startin to wonder if i was the only one who saw that. wow how close do you sit to the Tv to have time to notice something like that... ok .... settledown !! The area where the grille is located is now green/blue, depending on which car he runs. (nat guard or amp) Last year, that area was all white. It's a teency difference, but his car looks way different. Does anyone else find it funny when drivers are always wearing their firesuits in commercials? It's like they wear them to do daily activities. They are pretty cute and funny but I love Kasey Kahne commercials. Nope, I turn the channel during commercials, every time, no exceptions. When you have dozens of channels, why watch commercials? I'll probably play video games all day since it's supposed to be pouring on Sunday in NE Mississippi. Probably switch out the winter clothes with spring/summer clothes, if its a nice day i'll do some chores outside ...and is it this Sunday or next thats selection Sunday?.. I'll be watching that too. I will be almost competing my 1400 mile trip to Florida and about lay on the beach! Well, I am hoping to be calling a bunch of relatives and friends with good news about the birth our son! My wife's original due date was today but the last one, according to the latest ultrasound, is the 17th (St Patrick's Day). Hopefully Jonah Theodore can join us this coming weekend and will be home for Bristol LOL He's never seen a race before but I think he's probably heard the cars on the "crank it up" laps. He will be the world's newest Jimmie Johnson fan, we already got his first 48 gear at a baby shower a few weeks ago! My wife is anxious and getting nervous where I am SO excited I just want to get on with it already! If he is not born yet I will be doing some last minute preperations for his arrival and putting together a new dresser for his room.

Its normally a day of rest and racing for me but I have a spring cleaning bug and want to get at it. Sunday afternoon looks like a good time for that. I have to work every Sunday. I hardly ever get to see races on Sunday anyway. Thats why I love Saturday night races and Sunday afternoon races that go into the evening. Going SHOPPING the boss ( wife ) wants a new car . GRRRRRRRR Selection Sunday! Basketball, Tiger Woods is back, It's spring! ...Nuff said. Probably cutting grass and other boring yard work ! Usually I am out on Sunday afternoon with my wife as that is out only day together. I tape the race and watch when I get home, get to skip the commercials that way and with fox that saves at least an hour LOL.

No not at all. Jeffy is man enough to admit Kyle is a very talented driver, not resent his success like a lot of (especially) Dale Jr fans. I have always liked Kyle despite his crybaby tendencies, I just wish he had found his niche in an American car (Chevy) instead of wrecking them all the time. If at the end of the year I hope itsbetween Jeff Gordon,Kyle Busch And Kurt Busch. Got to have a mopar in the mix.. Ha Hawg Head... its funny cuz u want them 3 and i hate them 3... (sorry this isnt a real answer) When Jeff told Rick Hendrick he would give up his salary for this year if it was needed to get his team more competitive I knew he was going to win the championship.
Jeff is a good person and a good person will only talk about a rival's good points. Kyle Busch can handle a car so it makes sense to me. well he said he had the best pure talent .. however don't mean he will ever win a title.. you have to be willing to settle for second or the best you can do with the car with beating down the wall. today's champion is a combo . driver talent , brains , crew chief, car setup and LUCK.. at some point each one of them has to win you a race or two. just look at the great drivers that never won a title..and it is only getting harder.. and yes .. 2009 could be Jeff's year again.. last year he had bad luck that killed him in some races.. this year so far ..he is staying up front and even bad luck has not stopped him form a good finish so far.. he might have the new car figured out and with a little luck it could spell trouble for 42 other drivers.. the drive for 5 is alive .. again... remember under the old points system jeff would be going for # 7 . jeff has not won a title in the chase format . however had a 331 points lead wash away with the reset at the start of the chase to finish behind jimmy johnson by less than 70 points.. you have to be good for 26 then great for the last 10 to win the title. that is what the chase has give us. basically the first 10 races are about meaning less just finish in the top 20 .. then may a push mid season then in the last 10 bring it . Better than the best...sweet.
I think Jeff's got himself a new found sense of focus, he could be the man to beat. Time will tell.
The suspense is like a drug.. It's ironic. But that's just Jeff being the nice guy he is. He always gives credit to others and it's not all about himself. I believe Jeff was considered the favorite to win the 2008 championship, but he said that he thought Jimmie deserved to be the favorite. Jeff took credit for the #24's problems last year. I have always liked Kyle despite his crybaby tendencies, I just wish he had found his niche in an American car (Chevy) instead of wrecking them all the time. It's ironic. I liked Bristol before the repavement..if I could change anything, I'd hit the rewind button and undo it. its gonna be 78 here today so nice weather.. but blah Ky speedway only hosts the nationwide which I dont watch, and I doubt it will ever get a sprint cup race since its the same old 1.5 cookie cutter... why couldnt they have done something different!!! Irwindale Speedway & Fontana (CA), its gonna be partly cloudy here today in the upper 60's. I'd leave Bristol alone, I'd lower the ticket prices and try to do something with the hotel owners around there to keep their room prices down.

At this point he's only sixty points behind Jimmie, and considering how bad a start they have had, it isn't too bad at all.. damm he had to go take out Hamlin and Busch in daytona, thx jr learn to drive you were a lap down. Poor Kyle Petty You bring up an excellent point. I wouldn't want to be either one of them. The pressure on both of them must be awful, but different. They are both great guys & I love both of them. I don't think Kyle would get bashed more than Junior because his status is different than Juniors. For some reason ever since Adam was killed and Victory Junction Gang Camp started, Kyle still didn't have as much pressure as Junior. Junior was thrown into the attention of the media even before his Dad was killed. Over the years due to his popularity and marketing name the pressure increased.Junior has said over and over that he doesn't want to be compared to his Dad. People need to let that go. Then there was his leaving DEI and the controversy with Theresa. Kyle in his own way has always been a fan favorite. It's a sentimental thing. Seems no matter what anyone says about Junior, proving his stats, any possible argument you can think of, it doesn't matter. There are those who luv to bash Junior and keep doing it. If you ever come up with the reason, please let me know. I normally just ignore those questions because the result is always the same. It's a shame because Junior as a person is a great person the same as Kyle is and I'm sure Senior is proud of him for what he has done with his life. Thanks for asking this question. This is a total no brain-er, JR by a country mile. Kyle has done Absolutely nothing for the sport but make his dad look like a chump.
this is Kyles big accomplishments over 28 years (since 1981) Career wins, 8 top 5's 52, top 10's 173 and avg. finish 21.3. VS JR's Career over 9 years wins 18, top 5's 86, top 10's 138 and avg finish 16.2 JR may not be his dad by a long shot but he sure is a long long way from being as bad as kyle. Kyle and Jr are not in the same league K.

Sec of Def. You make some very good points about Jr. I really didn't have a problem with him when he was with D.E.I. I can understand why he left. If he signed with any other team, then I really wouldn't have any gripe with JR. I honestly don't see him being nearly as strong as Sr was. The only reason Kyle Petty stayed at it as long as he did was to raise awareness for the Victory Junction Gang Camp and to honor the memory of his son Adam. I don't believe that either would be considered a dissapointment by their fathers. Dale Sr. got to race alongside Dale Jr, watch him win a couple of Busch Series championships and get his first cup wins. Richard has gotten to build up the Victory Junction stuff with Kyle and is incredibly proud of all the good he has done to benefit disabled children across the country. People bash Jr. because he is the most popular driver. Many fans feel that he is unfit to carry that title and is only living off of his dad's name. Kyle has never been a threat to most people's favorite driver, neither in ability or popularity. I don't even know that there are THAT many people that hate Jr. as much as they say they do. I think that in here it is more the tr0!!$ perception that Dale Jr. fans are an easier target and will get more riled up than fans of other drivers.
4's FINE N 09!!!! Most people call Petty "The King", yet so many people on this forum act as if Earnhardt was the greatest driver to ever draw breath. I admit he had talent, and the only driver today i would even compare to him is Kyle Busch. Yet Earnhardt was more often than not a "dirty" driver, pulling a lot of the same moves his son did at Daytona this year. (That shocked the hell outta me, I thought Junior would never wreck someone on purpose). Seems like the old USSR where history gets re-written, nowadays Earnhardt is considered a saint, although old timers will remember he had as many race fans who hated his guts as he did who liked him. So up until Daytona I would have said Kyle was the bigger disappointmnet, but if Junior is going to sell his soul to the devil like his daddy did, I'm changing my vote. Ok, lets say that Richard Petty and Dale Sr. both left the sport the year Sr. died. Also lets say Kyle Petty had started driving the same time Jr. did and he has the same stats he did when he was driving.

Hmmm luckily I didn't get home till about 120 laps to go so I didn't have to see him. So far I've managed to avoid having to watch the cartoon so I have no idea what the F-1 gopher is, but I don't see why he needed to defend us from it since NASCAR is way ahead of the F-1 in my opinion, at least here in the US I thought for sure Jeff Burton dug Digger up when he went through the grass at least i was hoping so. Digger needs to go, sorry. im so sick of digger as a whole..it was cool last year but its just starting to get ridiculous I'm warming up to the bugger. yep, i already like him anyway, but that was a great skit. i'm not going to the martinsville spring race, but i can't wait till richmond so i can seek digger out and have my picture taken with him. I hate to admit it but I really like Digger. He's a cutie! I missed the cartoon today so I didn't get to see that. You and I may be in a very small minority regarding Digger! LOL I missed that today, and am glad I did.
Sorry, but I watch Nascar to see some of the best drivers in the most exciting racing series in the world. I do not watch it to see a stupid little cartoon about a gopher. If I wanted to watch a cartoon I'd just turn it to Nick and watch Spongebob. I don't have a problem with F-1 (although I do with some of their fans I've seen on here who act like F-1 is so much greater than NASCAR), so I don't really care. I'm about to let my cats loose on Digger though. They'll get a fun living toy to play with and I won't have to see him again. I thought it was kinda cool last year, when it was first used. Now, it's become a way for Fox to make millions on stupid Digger Merchandise.
I saw the cartoon today and was appalled. I understand NASCAR is trying to become more family friendly than it was in 2000 (when you couldn't wear a NASCAR jacket to school since it was plastered with tobacco-related items), but it's gotten to a point where they are trying too hard. Daytona didn't finish the biggest race of the year because of the start time, and had it rained today I think NASCAR would have lost a lot of credibility. When NASCAR started the fuel tank could have been on either side depending on the model.

Since the driver is on the left side of the car (in this country at least) driving counterclockwise provides a lot of physical advantages: drivers are shielded from the wall on banked turns, they have better visibility on the left side of the car where most people pass and the position of the driver is conducive to the effect of centrifical force. just like ferrari in years gone by they will probably get away with it BUT i dont think frank williams is that lucky The rules don't really restrict aero add-ons completely, it's just that now there are only certain zones of the car where these are allowed.
The front of the sidepods are free from those restrictions. I can only guess that the region in which the winglets are located is also free. The rules for this year state no aero add-ons, yet the Williams seems to have the shark like fins on either of the cockpit. Will these be banned or are they somehow within the rules?02 phones

Who knows? If you want a totally fabricated guess and some made up rationale... he might have won one more as he had finished second in 2000 and was still running strong. He hadn't finished outside the top 10 in points since 1992; but he also hadn't won a championship since 1994.

I think that Earnardt's time was running out in the Winston Cup (never say Sprint Cup and Dale Earnhardts name in the same sentence). He probably would have retired after the 02' or 03' season. But I think that he would have probably gone out with a bang and won a championship one of those 2 years, or hell, even swept 2 titles in 2 seasons.
And as for Johnson, only time will tell. It's a long road from here to Homestead. he wuld have about 2 more cup titles
