Nascar question?

May be...

  • I like the safety features of the car for the drivers sake. I have to agree with you about the spoiler. The drivers and crew chiefs have some issues with the handling aspects but it looks like it might finally be coming into shape. It's pretty hard to control a car that won't hold in a turn. I'm ok with the COT but not completely sold on it just yet. =o`)
    Interesting question...Star for you!
  • The only thing I like about it is that It's safer. Other than that I prefer the old car.
  • I didn't like it until I seen it out on the track, then I still even didn't like it all that much but now I love it. I love all things Nascar.
  • I have mixed feelings about the new car. I like that drivers can save it in places and not wreck but then I hate it because it seems liike nascar is trying to make cup into iroc.
  • Now that Sprint Cup has been racing the car of tomarrow for about a year has it grown on you a little or do you still dislike it, or did u like it from the begining?

I like the car but I wish it had a spoiler instead of a wing. Thats my only complaint.
  • I thought it was a cool looking car right from the start. I think we'll look back 10 years from now and think, Man can you believe how silly those old cars look?
  • Kyle got the first COT win, so I was always cool with it, even if he wasn't..
  • I like it. It is sturdier than the old car. I did not like it when a car got minor damage and then became so aero tight that it was not a factor in the race. I think there are some improvements that could be made on the car. Also some teams will get a better feel to set the car up. it will need more time.
  • I think the new car has always looked kinda cool but I like it because it can give even the best drivers a hard time.
  • It doesn't matter what they race as long as the rules are equal before the green flag drops. They could be racing 850 H.P. electric cars and I would still be interested. I like the technical/ mechanical aspect of the sport (something not inherent in a ball) Racing to me is more deep than the superficial aspect. As a former street racer and technician, I love the challenge a building a better machine than the next guy. There is always much satisfaction. The COT is still a beautiful piece of machinery to me, especially since it's carbureted. There is so much inside of a carburetor that can make you better than the competition, especially if you know how to modify these components. And my favorite aspect of the carburetor is named after an Italian inventor. No name dropping here, but a savvy technician will know what i'm talking about. So yeah, I still like the machines NASCAR is using. It's NASCAR and some of their "weak" rules and regulations that put a sour look on my face.
  • I'm starting to get used to it
when JR talks about it he makes it sound cool like its beginning to come around
  • At first the only thing I didn't like was the the way it looked. But after finding out how safe the car was I became a fan of it. The looks have grown on me. Once all the teams get it figured out you wont hear as much moaning and groaning about it from the fans or the drivers.
  • i did not like it at first but it has grown on me. i really like how it looks. but Nascar needs to give alittle and let the teams have alittle more freedom to mess with it.
  • I like it better now than at first.
  • I've learned to accept the change. It's pretty amazing how it'll straighten itself out, when they get a little squirly/sideways!!
Wish the drivers could see a little better. They'll get it worked out!!!
  • its definetely grown on me....i loved the old car better last year....and now everytime i watch a Nationwide race, i think the old cars are ugly compared to the C.O.T.
  • Who can pinpoint which one of these pictures has a wrong caption?

    May be...

  • I've got too much spare time on my hands, lol. It's picture 13/45 where they identify Sebastien Bourdais as Sebastian Vettel.
  • Java Juice too strong.
  • i browsed all images ....and didnt find anything wrong(dont know if they had correcte mistakes till then)...and i dont find s.Vettel or S.bourdais names mismached too!!!......and if up der the two guys are talking about sebastien vettel talking to his engneer as being sebastien bourdais...den i think(am sure) they are wrong as its s.vettel...himself!!
  • I agree with Tim

  • Auto Racing - Who Else is a Fan?

    May be...

  • I am crazy about NASCAR. I have followed it all my life.
Dale Jr is my driver, but your guy(if it is kyle) sure is on a tear!!
  • Well in the Sprint Cup it would be Kyle Busch!!! Of All time Morgan Shepherd
  • 1. Of course I'm a NASCAR fan

    2. Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch are tops on my list. Denny Hamlin, Brian Vickers, and Jimmie Johnson are distantly behind them.

I like your choice in drivers!!

  • OMG. i'm a fan too. and i'm also crazy - about nascar that is. imagine that!!!
and i like busch too, both of them. they are both sooo awesome and sooo "hunky."
i hope no one "cuter" starts racing anytime soon; i'd have to change favorites.
    ;-)
  • carl edwards, clint bowyer, smoke, kasey kahne, i just do not like jr.
  • Im just plain crazy. Crazy for Nascar! My favorite is Kurt Busch.
  • OMG I'm crazy about NASCAR! My favorite is Busch. He is awesome and so cute. Who else is a NASCAR fan? Who is your favorite driver? I'd love to hear from you.
  • I am crazy about NASCAR too! My favorite driver is Dale Earnhardt Jr. I am Dale Jr.'s NUMBER ONE fan! He is more handsome than Busch!! Sexier too! More than anyone in NASCAR! :)

    Go Dale Jr.!!!
    JUNIOR NATION!!
  • vickers.......go red bull.. mike skinner...old school.
  • 30 years of Nascar racing, YES am a FAN!

  • sorry i love jr and smoke
  • OMGWTFBBQROFL I'm a fan too!11!1shift+one!!1

I like Travis Kvapil he's super cute and I heard he's huge
  • Believe or not I`m 45 years old and I like Jeff Gordon.I always here crap because of it.
  • Obviously I'm a big fan of NASCAR! My favorite driver is Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch in a distant second.
  • you are HOT I ENJOY NASCAR
  • Yep A BIG fan myself. I don't think Kyle is a hunka hunka burnin love but who cares if he isn't. The guy drives like he owns the season which he does and is absolutely awesome.

#18's #1 Fan Rowdys World...I luv you man!! I can always count on a you for chuckle at least. This time you made me snort my soda thru my nose.
  • OMG me two My fave is Jr!!

  • No. 88 Sweetheart!!!!
  • 18.7.08

What happens if you are 13th in points after richmond with a win?

    May be...

  • Not at all, the 10 extra bonus points are only IF you make the chase and only applies to the chase seeding.
    3 STR8 N 08!!!
  • The bonus points are already in the equation. If you are 13th then you are not in the chase.

    j
  • Nope if your in the 13th position in points when the chase starts then thats were you are you just keep collecting points until the end of the season.
  • Bowyer's gonna make it back in, so I assume you're talking about someone else? No, they don't make the chase if they are 13th.
  • no , you have to make the chase,, then when the points are reset for the top 12 youll get the 10 bonus pts for each win,,

13th down fight for the 13th spot which pays a million and gets a seat on the podium at the Waldorf Astoria, for the awards ceremony,,,
  • nope...he won't make the Chase.
  • Yes, but it depends on how many laps the person in the 12th position completed and led. If the person in 12th has a DNF then yes you will be in the chase. If the person in 12th wins and leads the most laps then there is a good chance that you will not make it in the chase. I hope that this answers your question and hope you make it in the chase.
  • most likely the driver will make the Chase.
  • Once the Chase begins the guys in the Chase pretty much start fresh, I belive the one in 1st gets a few extra bonus point but othewise it's a whole new ball of wax. They start at -0-

So to answer your question dosen't matter how many wins you have if you are out of the Chase you are out of the Chase.
  • it depends on what your saying..... if after the race hes in thirteenth then thats where he ends up but if those are the standings before the race then the person would get into the chase
  • ummm.... nope
  • That rule only applies if you're in the top 12. If you're not then no bonus for you.
  • nope you try to stay 13th for a million
  • You still get all of the points. The Top 12 guys are the only drivers locked in and allowed to run for the championship. The same for every team 13 and back. The point system stays the same. No reset in points for 13th and on back. The Points Leader has his lead reduced once the Chase starts after Richmond, and even if you collect more points than the 12th place team, You don't surpass the 12th place team. Those top 12 in the Chase are locked in and the only ones allowed to contend for the championship. Here's a link it doesn't really explain the Chase for the Cup a whole lot.
    http://wwwww.nascar.com/news/features/po...
  • Once the finaly points are tallied, then who every is 13th in points will stay there becuase ther is no point reset from 13th on back, but them guys get to duke it out for the $1mil bonus.
  • A win is ten bonus points right? What happens if after richmond, a driver is 13th in points with a win, and the 12th place guy is 9 points ahead with no win. Do the 10 bonus points for the 13th place guy let him go ahead to 12th?
  • No. The top 12 after Richmond go to the chase. The points are then reset and those 12 drivers get 10 additional points for each win they've had. Simple.
  • Jerks at the track that target even kids....?

    May be...

  • We go to the Kansas Speedway every year, and I have never seen anybody harass anybody. I am always amazed at these stories, and glad I have never witnessed such a thing. I am not saying I don't witness drunken loons yelling at drivers, or falling down in the grass, or passed out in the restrooms, but as for fighting or harassing, no I never have. I wear my 48 t-shirt, my husband wears his Jr. shirt, my best friend wears Gordon, and her husband wears his Stewart shirt. Our other friend that goes with us, is decked out in Labonte gear. All of us have different favorites, and none of us have ever been heckled.

This story takes the cake from all the others I have read though as your son is so young, and should not have been heckled. Truly, nobody has the right to heckle anybody because of who their favorite driver is. But I have to agree with Tom P., every sport has fans that are less than ideal.
  • they pick on kids cuz there jerks. i remember last time we went to a race a few years back, my friend was rootin for (kurt) busch and down in florida they hate his guts (not tht they like em any wear else) and everyone booed him bad and he took first place. she was the only one in the entire track who was rooting for em and when he won she had her head up sooo high.
  • We pick on everyone at races. That must have been your first race? Its like a war between fans. Nothing you can do about it. Age doesn't matter in it.
  • Too bad about your kid....though you deserve a good slappin' for letting him where a Sadler shirt.
  • im 14 my first race was a truck race a year ago at dover no one really bothered me samething with the nationwide race this year
  • The adult beverages that some adults consume causes some very stange and crude remarks toward any driver but their favorite.
  • just wondering what shirt was the idoit wearing??, by the way Elliott is my 2nd fav. driver behind Matt. Sadler has the worst luck this year and those Everham cars look like their catching up, tell your son not to jump ship..that 19 team looks better every week.
  • I've learned over the course of my life that 80% of people on the planet are complete idiots... you must have ran into a concentrated pocket of these jerks!
  • I like Elliott Sadler too....good for your son.

I am really sorry to hear about the trouble you had & I hope it's was just an isolated incident. I have been to a quite few races in my day and have never seen folks harrassing children. Normally NASCAR fans are pretty cool and most helpful folks I have run into at any sporting event. That had to be just some idiots don't let that sway you from NASCAR. Have your son wear his Elliott shirt proudly again at the next race you go to. I bet it will be a different experience for you both. Elliott dosen't have a lot of haters so I really am suprised.
  • I went to the Pepsi 400 in 2002 with my wife, mom, and dad. My mom was wearing a Jeff Gordon shirt and this redneck drunk got in her face and asked her to get over that "f@gg0t" already. My dad, who is a pretty calm guy walked over to the guy as told him that she was wearing his shirt and does he have a problem with it? That redneck p.o.s. said nothing and walked away like a b#tch. I have gone to at least one race a year for the last 15 years, and I have seen the obnoxious drunks and rude people grow to the point that this year I chose to take my wife and child to Disney instead of going to a race and listen to those retards. I'll get some thumbs down for this statement, but the majority are Dale Jr. fans. I like Jr. but I don't pull for him because of those people.

edit - President - Thanks for proving my point...
  • Yep those drunk punk Junior fans love stirring up trouble. That way of life landed Dale Sr in Hell for all eternity, I see a lot of his fans who jumped to Junior's bandwagon are destined to roast with him one day.
  • That is pretty tacky. Just teach your son a polite response to such comments and let him know the grown ups who say such things are just lacking refinement. They obviously didn't have parents who taught them good manners.
  • And Elliot is one of my favorites. See your son isn't a bandwagon fan. He's a true fan who sticks by his driver win (not much lately) or lose (often).
I was at Loudon when Kurt Busch took the win because of the rain. And Elliot Sadler came in 5th. There were groups of us waiting for them to put the winning order up on the towers...and when they put Elliot in 5th place I yelled and pointed and was cheering for the #19. People were looking at me a little weird too. LOL It's racin. Tell your son to pull his shoulders back and be proud of who he is a fan of.
  • Not jerks just Jr's relatives drinking from a mason jar
  • And would you be more or less upset if it had happened at a football game, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer,??????

There are rivalries in every sport. I am a Pittsburgh fan, but I don't wear my jersey to the Giants games!!!!

There are idiots in every sport. My advise is to wear a simple "NASCAR" shirt, no driver, no problems. I know it sux, but better to avoid the idiots than antagonize them.

WOW! 5 thumbs downs??? I didn't know I had that many trolls......

I'd like to thank the academy.....
  • Come on you should know kids are more mature then grown ups. Grown ups are just big babies. Tell you son to tell them to grow up and America is a free country so he can like whoever he wants. Heck I'd make him a Sadler shirt with 19 on the front and then on the back it should say..Got a problem with that?

    Best of luck.
  • Must of been some of those trashy Jr fans
  • There is that stupid "redneck" analogy.............Is it possible that ANYONE can be a jerk??????
  • My 12 year old son likes Elliot Sadler, has for years. When I took him to Richmond this past May GROWN UPS where like "get a new driver" "OMG! you like him" I just told them he is 12 leave him alone...I know it is a redneck sport but come on...why pick on kids?
  • I went to a race last year and this lady that was at the conccesion stands turned and happened to see me with my kasey kahne shirt on. she then turned tward me and yelled "Kasey Kahne SUCKS!".

Just explain to your son that those people are doing that cause there ignorant, and usually drunk as a skunk...

  • From this group Hill (plane crash), Moser (accident at Monza) and Hulme (heart attack at the wheel during the 1992 Bathurst race) would all also die early. Report Abuse
  • It's a commentary on the time, but 4 years after the Q9 photo was taken, 6 of the drivers were dead (Siffert, Courage, McLaren, Rodriguez, Bonnier, Rindt) and 2 others had had their F1 careers all-but finished by accidents (Oliver & Elford) . Report Abuse
  • Jimmie Johnson..ESPY Winner for 2008?

    May be...

  • Cool! :) HMS!
  • Kool...Congrats to Jimmie!

    go Jr.>>>>
  • Agree that he was the best driver.
  • Congrats to Jimmie and his fans! He deserved it more than anyone.
  • I say congrats to Nascar but they could have chosen a better driver in my opinion. There are many better drivers out there. But of course I am Juniors #1 fan so maybe I am seeing from a one sided view.
  • hes gay
  • Yipee, congrats. to Jimmie and Chandra. He had an outstanding year last year, and a repeat championship. Good for HMS and team #48 for which he would have never been able to win without them.

    Congrats. to NASCAR!
  • Zimmy's right, he's gay with Jeff Gordon.
  • he beat out my boy rowdy!!! :-(

but jimmie deserves it for last year, rowdy will get his next year.

    congrats to jimmie.
  • yay!
    congrats to Jimmie!
    he definitely deserves it!
    =]
  • Nascar Fans...congratulations to Hendricks Driver..Jimmie Johnson, 2008 ESPY Winner for best driver in Motor Sports...just announced today..what you all think??? He beat out some really good drivers from other Motor Sports, I say..WTG Nascar WINS again!!
  • I guess as long as a NASCAR driver won im happy.
  • I think he deserved it because of the season he had last year and being the two time cup champ now. Some people are even saying that he is still the one to beat in the chase this year over Kyle Busch. That seems a little crazy because of the role Busch is on but don't count him out!
  • Congrats to Jimmie Johnson he is a 2 time champion well deserved.. Theres always next yr Rowdy..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms
  • JIMMIE Is the man , aka show me the MONEY $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
  • Jimmie's a great driver, and a great representation of the sport, congrats to him and to his fans!!
    Good job Jimmie :)
  • yes awesome i voted for him to
how did you find this out because im looking to find out who won some of the other categories before the show airs on espn lol
  • DADGUMMIT!!! JIMMIE JOHNSON??? What the he** has he done to be voted for best driver? Win ONE race??? Kyle was up for three of those awards, and best driver was one of them and Jimmie gets it? Is it based on last years preformance or this years so far???

OK...enough said. Congratulations to Jimmie and all Jimmie fans here especially #48JJFan and 48phan President of NASCAR Nation. And all the rest of the Jimmie Johnson fans as well!!!! And you to #48's #1 fan who's below me. Cheers!!!
  • 17.7.08

Who has made the most improvement since the Daytona 500 this year?

    May be...

  • yea i would def say elliot sadler but number one would be Matt Kenseth
  • I say Elliott Sadler but that has biased written all over it. What do you think?
  • Paul Menard doing very well Grabbed his 1st Pole and very consistent
  • Love him or hate him, Kyle Busch has made the most improvement this year. He is on a pace to set the modern day wins in a season set by Jeff Gordon with 13.
  • david ragan couldnt get out of the way last year and he is in top 15 this year.. vickers team has made a great improvement... travis kvapil is a rookie who has been unsponsord most of the year but is in 21st in points... i would also give a little credit to reutiman who couldnt make a race last year made it into top 35 this year in the 00 before having to give up the points when he moved to the 44 6 races in and has climbed that car back up from outside the 35 to 27...
  • Biased? You?? No! lol

I agree. I think he is doing much better. He's coming, I just know it!! I visualize how you would be the second he wins that race this season...and I am right there with ya!!!
And I think David Ragan has surprised eveyone as well.
  • As much as I hate to admit it but it's that little twerp Kyle Busch. It's like he's out to prove to Hendrick Motorsports that they were wrong to let him go. Pay back is a *********.

If he seems to walk a little funny it's all those horseshoes up his A $ $.
  • David Ragan !!
  • david ragan
    brian vickers
  • The whole GEM outfit. To me they have made the most improvement, Kasey is winning, Elliott is running up front now and Patrick Carpentier has been getting better. At least he can make just about every race.

One particular driver in my eyes who has improved tremendously has to be David Ragan.
  • My neighbor's breasts are bigger. That's an improvement.
  • David Ragan
    Matt Kenseth
    Jeff Burton
    Jeff Gordon
    Jimmie Johnson
  • Vickers has to be first, he was out of the top 35 in owners points and then Matt Kenseth came from 18th to chase contender in points,
Then if you want to say biggest letdown HAAZ motorsports
  • David Ragan in my opinion.
    Sadler would come in second
    Vickers in third.
  • that's an easy one...
    Matt Kenseth
  • David Ragan, Big Improvement from the begining of the year.
  • David Ragan
  • i think elliot has improved a lot and i think that all of the rookies have improved (maybe not anything huge) but i think that they are doing better
  • From where he started, I'm going to have give Sadler the nod on this one....
  • Rowdy.
  • uhh....JEFF GORDOn

    He did finish in 39TH!!!!!!
and you said DAYTONA 500 this year!!
  • I think David Regan and Sadler have!! ( I might be sporting a new avatar before you know it!! LOL)
  • kyle busch is amazing
  • Where will NASCAR be in the next 10-20 years?

    May be...

  • Most likely NASCAR will be renamed JAP Car with 43 Toyota or Nissan COT starting and the drivers will all be Harvard degreeded accountants. There is not enough sponsor ship money left in US and with weak domestic auto sales along with existing NASCAR greed and making rules that make races boring I see no way it can continue as it is
  • We have been riding along with NA$CAR and not been looking ahead, but they have. The are selling out little by little each and every year. It is all about the benjamins. They are gonna go the way of MLB (makes lotsa bucks) and the NFL (new funds looming), as I see it, and it is happening now and has been for a while, they are headed for the TV markets. The top, say, 20 television markets will get a super arena complex. The site will be capable of hosting the olympics. It will have a race track, football and baseball field, soccer field, basketball arena.. all housed within a abandoned industrial complex within the city. Urban sprawl is hidering us now... cannot build race tracks in the rural area's because of noise and traffic complaints. Many people are moving to the urban areas, that were once rural... due to NAFTA our industrial base is moving out of country, leaving industrial complexes sitting idle, and unihabitable for housing use... so there is the use for the land.. super arenas. The city is where most empty space is... so pick the top 20 tv markets and add a few out of country events as promotional sites for the expansion of NA$CAR to the world competition level.

Forget about the IROC series, it is gonna be the new NA$CAR. IROC was the testing grounds for their premises. The car of tomorrow is just the prototype of things to come. First we standardize the cars to the point where there is absolutly no brand recognition... make a generic car... then force teams to buy the cars from a common manufacturer in Indonesia, cannot be modified... the engines will be a sealed crate item like the IRL, all engines will be bought from a company in China, built to some insane code and regulation of NA$CAR.. oh and the engines will not be like they are now... oh no.. will be some other fuel.. like propane.. so they will be maybe 100HP at best and four cylinder... Pit stops.. they take too long and the races are too long for TV moguls... races will be shorter so they can count on a 2 hour scheduled program. And they will be pay per view only!!! Gotta keep the benjamins rolling in...

Since the cars cannot be modified, the tracks will have to be. No more road courses, super speedways, short tracks... no more differences in banking or materials used to build the tracks. Due to our superior abilities and technological improvements, we are able to build our race tracks much more similiar now... laser level and sites.... gps mapping etc... We will be able to make every track identical... with the same ingredients so there is no difference in grip..... Due to the fact industrial complexes may not be as big as we like, the tracks will be shorter... maybe a mile.... and since the tracks are scaled down, so will the cars... maybe half the size they are now... so they can still fit more on the track...

Sponsors... hmmmm this really scares me... we will be able to have one car from each industry... one beer car, one soda car, one tool car, one oil car, one phone car, one soap car... you got that? because they are the official ________ of NA$CAR...... And the super arenas.... will be able to exclude a driver because of his sponsor... like tony stewart and paul menard being prohibited from running at Lowe's arena... no pepsi car in the coke 600....stuff like that!!! Is that where we are headed? I hope not! I hope this is a science fiction story... maybe I watch too many conspiracy theory movies... read too many steven king horror/ sci fi books!!! Dunno guys... it gets kinda scary when ya look at it this way, doesn't it?

Wanna get even scarier? think of the possibilities of modern computer and television technology... maybe you are watching a race, maybe you are watching a CGI movie or PS3 game.....Yeah then ya could fake a NA$CAR event... have who they think will bring in the most $$$$$$ as a pretty boy or bad boy an make a script like the WWE....control the winners, outcomes, wrecks, rivalries... and EVERYTHING!....then they could easily plan the commercial breaks around the sponsors who contribute the most $$$$$$$$... Could it be done? why not? I still get excited watching the movie...CARS.. it is computer animated... and very real for a cartoon... think about that... no traffic to deal with... no support teams... nothing... expenses would only be virtual.. even more free money for PROFIT....NA$CAR profit... no sharing with local eateries and hotel motels... cutting them out completely!... they would get more of your money!

So how do the get there?... Hmmm E A Sports it's in the game!... think about it.... they are already there... getting their data for NA$CAR 2009... reliving the 2008 season... and have you noticed the new feature they are using on tv?.. no camera no problem... the new data available via GPS is allowing the TV crews to show you what happened when the camera was on Juan or Juyna..lol.. They have used it a few times already... showing how a wreck happened when the camera was on another part of the track... so it will be introduced slowly on a gamer site or at bars or NA$CAR theme parks... you drive in the race with the pros... they will insert a virtual car, driven by a kid or drunk at a bar.. this car will not affect the race... just appear to be a part of it... to the local viewer... kind of a overlay technology of some sort... then when it catches on NA$CAR will capitolize on it for a year or so... then move to complete CGI or gamers instead of our real drivers... think about that one!.... I am scaring myself.....
  • best sport ever and all types of cars will be in it unfortunately
  • That's too hard to say right now. They could be gas, they could be electric, they could be HHO (and no the HHO is not a typo).

HHO is a hydrogen/oxygen gas mix. It is being said that HHO gives more power to engines than just gas. Some say it's proven and others are hesitant to believe in the technology. I have no clue but it could be something to look for in the future.

Anyway competition will exist no matter what the future's source for energy is.
  • who said they were struggling

where you gonna be strokin it i mean struggling
  • Will NASCAR be gone, still going strong, or still struggling?! State where you think the sport will go and why.
  • it will be going strong. kyle busch, joey logano, and brad keselowski will be battling out in their toyota, honda, and chevy hovercraft...
    ;-)

What do u think who will win at indionopolis next sunday???

    May be...

  • Here Kitty Kitty.....
    Smoke's gonna win at indianapolis!
  • Smoke!
  • i hate to say it but jeff gordon. dark horse mark martin
  • I hope Martin Truex Jr
  • I would like to see Smoke win it, but I think Burton has a great chance to take the checker this year.

    go Jr.>>>>
  • Tony Stewart is my pick for the Brickyard.
  • I think Kyle Busch will win, for the simple fact that not only is he good at Indy, but he's on a hot streak, and his points lead is so big he can take more chances in order to win, such as using different pit strategies, etc.

Kyle should have no troubles making it #8 at Indy, no matter how bad people want to see him lose.
  • Kyle Busch for the same reasons as you. Kyle will definetely be going for it now because he has a big points lead, and so he only wants WINS right now. He might wreck it but you know he is going to drive the wheels off of it, and either way he is going to still leave with the points lead. Now he is just looking for wins before the chase
  • TONY STEWART ALL THE WAY!! This is his home track. He is not going to settle for anything less that a win!

Remember last year- "Here Kitty Kitty Kitty"

    Man I loved that!
  • I think it will be a Hendrick car probably 48
  • JPM time to break through on the oval and shut every one up
  • i say kyle because he race like he stole it
  • I'm going to go with Smoke at the brickyard. He's puckering up to kiss those bricks already. But, honestly I could see Harvick, Jimmie or Kyle taking it home too. If one of those four don't win, I will be very surprised.
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.
  • K.B. will be a nice guy and let someone else win.. maybe a Chevy... to feed a Mexican Family who builds the Chevy cars...
  • Smoke's overdue for a win, Gordon too. But I would love to see Junior win another this year ;-)
  • It is spelled Indianapolis.
  • I wouldn't bet against Kyle right now.
    3 STR8 N 08!!!
  • Jeff Burton
  • One of these.

    Kyle Busch>Kevin Harvick>Jeff Gordon>Tony Stewart>Jimmie Johnson
  • I am picking #24

And I agree...............use the spell check!
  • Smoke, he's done good there
  • kyle baby yeah you wanna know why because were just so damn good and were being compared to richard petty the king and because kyle has a brand new paint scheme that is hott
  • Jimmie all the way.

After last week when he was so darn close he will be racing hard.
  • I cannot decide between Kyle and Tony. One will win the other will be 2nd place.
  • Wild Thing, he is on his way to the championship.
  • dale jr
  • What driver has wrecked the most other drivers during his career?

    May be...

  • first of all, dale sr. in definetly not in hell! i'm a girl and i've only been watching nascar for the past 5 or 6 years (i'm 24). anyway, i would say that tony stewart and kasey kahne are both contenders for wrecking other drivers!
  • Many people here are fans of Dale Sr. and regardless of what he did on and off the track he was a good man. Did you know that he bought the seed corn for every farmer in North Carolina when he got rich enough to do so? That man was booed and cheered as much or more so than Kyle is now and I am so much of a Kyle fan but he could never fill the shoes of the Intimidator.

I am sure that you don't care but you made enemies here now. What a terrible thing to say.
  • I agree that it was Earnhardt Sr...I recall Bristol where he took Terry Labonte out on the last lap, and Nascar allowed it. I don't recall any other driver being so tempted to do so as Earnhardt was.
  • I'd say it has to be Earnhardt Sr hands down but I didn't start folowing racing till around 1980 so anybody know if any of the old school drivers were as dirty as Dale?
The funny thing was after he'd wreck someone for a "win" he'd tell the reporters "I hate that it happened but that's racing". Yeah that kind of BS sure got him a ticket to Hell.
Anyone know a site that has the stats on wrecks?
  • Try youtube.. an search Nascar.. See what you can find, and let me know OK
  • I'd say Kyle Busch is on the wrecker list and climbing. Go get em greenbean!
  • Dale Sr. He got what he deserved.

Maggie is funny. "Great Man" she says. He was a wife beater and an alcoholic you idiot. That's GREAT!
  • Id say Juan Pablo Montoya has wrecked and made the most enemies in the shortest period of time.
  • man what gives you the gumption to say someone is in hell
i hope you burn in HELL !!!!!!!!!!!
  • Sniffy, you sir are an imbicle. Go back to the "I slept with my sister section, or the MY maw and paw is first cuzins section". You ignorance is flamiong, and really not wanted here. Report Abuse
  • Can you be a NASCAR fan and still have your original teeth?

    May be...

  • My & my mom's dental records & our tickets stubs from last weeks Daytona Cup & Nationwide races both say........................................

    YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY...
    EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
    SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
  • Haha your funny how long did it take you to come up with that one?? FYI Nascar fans come in all different shapes, sizes, and breeds and the last time I checked most of them were smarter than you cause they wouldn't ask dumb questions like this one!
  • wow this shur ant the worst question ive heard jjyelly and ones that say kyle busch have skill are but other than that yup your a dumb@$$ i have a question for you are there really little babies that cant curse that make it so i cant ????
  • Last year we had a family reunion at the Daytona 500. There were 137 of us. We came up one short of a full set of teeth! I think it was an eye tooth.
  • Yes... I have them in a jar out in the privy... thanks fer askin!
  • I sure hope so. I am not a backwoods hick, and I love nascar !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Yes, I have all mine...

    Go Dale Jr & Hms
  • Hahaha your so funny. NOT.
  • You have got to be kidding me. What in the world does that matter? Weird. Get a life. This is the best way you spend your time?
  • I don't have any false teeth yet. I may have had a couple remove due to crowding and cavities, but the others are real. Also, your question is insulting to some people.
  • I have all 32 of my pearlie whites.. ooohhh and wow.. I'm not the stereotype either.. YIKES let's just throw a wrench in that question.. *eyeroll*
  • (checking for original teeth)

    Yes!!
  • Why, are you afraid they'll kick you out when you open your mouth to speak and they discover you don't have any?

    go JR.>>>>
  • Sure you can! In fact, you can be gay and be a NASCAR fan! My best friend is gay and has all his teeth, and he goes to whatever race it is they have in Michigan every year...I have no idea what it's called because I'm not a fan...
  • Yes.
  • Not all of them, and they certainly will not be white, instead more of a moldy brown green that sort of smell of a tainted cheese when exposed for too long.
  • It is very expensive to attend nascar events. Most of the people probably make more $$$ than you ever will and have better teeth (original). Your question is an undeniable testiment to your ignorance. Now go brush your tooth and go to bed!
  • i really dont think you can...

BUT you can have a John deer hat and marry your sister if you are a nascar fan

    lol best answer?
  • Yep, sure can.

BUT, can you be a troll without that stupid, frizzy hairdo???
  • Yes, and you can also like watermelon and fried chicken without being black.
  • Sometimes. & with a name like OLGA you can also figure you need to go on a diet.
  • lol, yes.
  • Well my four year old daughter just announced she's going to be a race car driver when she grows up, and we don't even have a tv in the house! Of course.. all her baby teeth will fall out in the next few years :)
  • ROFLMAO, cannot believe you actually asked such a STUPID QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where are you from, the tree houses in the jungles or coal mines in the hills????

Time for trolls beddiebye time..nite nite..don't forget to brush or put yours in the jar beside nightstand or you in a barn with the horses azzz?
  • HAHAHAHAHA....
  • lmmfao! NO.
  • Great question-I love it!
  • hm....i belive i have my original teeth.

    hahahahaha.
    thanks for the 2 points!

have a great day you ignorant troll
    =]
  • Yes. I am proof of that. I did see a guy the other day however who had a Jeff gordon sticker and an Auburn Tigers sticker on his truck (loser). He didn't have many toofs.
  • Can anyone that has ever met you in person honestly say you aren't a total stupid C*&t?
  • 15.7.08

    Who is Jochen Mass?

    May be...

  • I do not know why do you ask this in the NASCAR Section?
  • Mass was a German F1 driver during the 70s and 80s. He finished on the podium 8 times, and won his only race at the 1975 Spanish Grand Prix. He went into sports car with good sucess, including teaming up with Bobby Rahal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jochen_Mass
  • He wasn't a NASCAR driver, for sure.
  • its yo mamma B*tch
  • Kyle Busch or The Intimidator?

    May be...

  • I liked trivia buffs answer. However if you insist. Had that been Sr instead of Jr the outcome may have been the same. What would have been differant is that in the following week or two Kyle would have gotten close enough or Sr would have gotten close enough and there would have been M&M's all over the track. Old school -vs- new school.

Maybe in about 10 years we will be able to see any other comparison. If, IF, Kyle lasts that long. Kurt started out that way too and now has seemed to have been humbled like many other of todays new style of aggresive drivers. Sooner or later the owners or Nascar step on them.....
  • Dale Senior, He is a legend, Kyle is nowhere near Dale!!! I would love to see them race each other though!!! There would be lotsa pieces to pick up after and we would have to give Kyle a diaper after wards!!! Kyle has mad talent, but there is NO comparison!!! Dale would send Kyle back to school with his tail between his legs, whimpering!!! Yep.
  • I can see that your stuck
But, I can't tell what that is that your stuck on
  • #3 Dale Sr would lay the smack down on #18 Kyle Busch
  • That's like comparing Pee Wee Herman to John Wayne!
  • There is no comparison the way I see it. Yes Kyle can drive and he has 7 wins....Senior had 7 back to back Championships. You are comparing a Legend to a wanna be. Maybe some day he will be a champion but he has a lot to learn before that will happen. If your stuck...call a tow truck. =o`) ~Peace~
  • I'm sick of the comparisons between Sr. and Kyle Busch. Let's see here -
    Sr. - 7 championships
    Sr - 76 wins

Mr. 18 - 0 championships (counting all the other series he's raced in)
    Mr. 18 - 11 wins.

Yeah, Mr. 18 sounds so much better than Dale Sr.
  • I was and will forever be a fan of Dale, I am and will forever be a fan of Kyle.............. I can honestly say, I just don't know!!
  • Senior is in a league of his own, though, and I have a hard time even putting KyBusch's name in the same sentence!! LOL
  • You know something, JR fans wont admit this, but they would have love to seen JR put a move on Richmond like Kyle did to him. They wont admit it though, but I bet they really wish Dale JR was as aggressive as Kyle. Well too bad he isnt and he doesnt have aggressive bone in his body. I figured more Sr fans would cheer for KYLE because he drives a lot like SR and I thought that is what the fans loved. So anyway to your question I would go with a side by side finish at Darlington with Sr winning by .00001 while JR rides around midpack with no aggression or desire to compete even though his fans are worshipping him in the stands and they cant even tell you why
  • DALE (INTIMIDATOR- 7time champion) EARNHARDT
  • I'd totally go for Ricky Rudd.
  • Earnhardt today. Ask me the same question in a couple of years and maybe my answer will change.
  • Kyle Busch. He puts moves on guys similar to what Sr. used to do. That was all driver the last 2 laps at Chicagoland Saturday. Kyle is on his way to becoming a great in the sport, at a younger age than Sr, even though they have many of the same characteristics.

No I'm not an Earnhardt Sr. hater, I respected his talent, and he earned his fans, nothing was handed to him in that aspect. The question said "Who would y'all go for"...well I like Kyle better than I did Sr. so I would go for him. No sentimental votes here, just my own opinion.

I mean if I didn't let personal opinions in the way, Sr. might wreck Kyle if given the chance. If the race came down to Jr. and Kyle, well that has happened before, and Kyle did exactly what the Intimidator would have done. He's got those aggressive genes.
  • Seriously pitting Kyle Bush against a 7 time champ? That's like a ant against a human foot. (SQUASHHH) Hand's down The Intimidator
  • THE INTIMIDATOR!!!!!!!!
  • dale=championships kyle for now just races yes kyle can drive im a lifelong earnhardt sr. and jr. but sr. won 7 cups back when there were some pretty good drivers ie the king so for me its not even a question
  • Why do we have to compare? Sr. was a great driver in his day....Kyle Busch is a great driver in his day.
  • Are you kidding? While Kyle has some talent there is no way he is even close to Dale Sr. in some many ways. Kyle is young and has alot to still learn. He is hated in the nascar circles because he just seemed to show up and be on the top. I know it did not happen that way but to the newbies in the sport that is what they see. Kyle has to earn the respect of the other drivers before he can even be compared to Dale Sr. Love him or hate him Dale Sr. was well respected by his fellow drivers and nascar. They listened to him. I would watch were I asked this question if I were you.... might get eggs in your face.
  • Davie Allison
  • Please... Only the most die-hard Kyle Busch fan or the most die-hard Earnhardt hater would choose Kyle Busch.
  • Who would y'all go for more. Kyle or Sr. I'm pretty stuck here..
  • EARNHARDT
  • The next best team........?

    May be...

  • Alright Roush has been at the top, Hendrick was the best, Gibbs is tearing it up this season.......Who is gonna the next team to dominate, RCR? DEI? Evernham?Red Bull Racing? Penske? Ganassi? Stewart-Haas?
In my honest opinion I beleive that RCR is gonna be the next top team inna couple years, Richard is starting a fourth team, wich I am sure will have some great talent. He is obviously spending some dough, hopefully it will pay off and the top of the list will belong to Chevy again.
  • i think it will be hendricks again after junior is really set and comfortable in the car
  • RCR is poised to step it up, but I would keep and eye on Red Bull. They defiantly get the award for "most improved" this year.
  • i think stewart-haas is going to be a joke. Def. think Tony is making a mistake here.

I wish DEI would do good buuuut, I have my doubts.
  • Dei is going to hit rock bottom RCR could pull it off Gibbs is OK now but what goes up Must come down an HMS they are doing OK Stewart- Haas i dint know we will have 2 see
  • Ganassi has a long way to go. So does Evernham. Penske, almost as far. Stewart Haas will take awhile. RCR, a possibility, and so is DEI.

The dark horse is Red Bull. They spend money like drunken sailors in las vegas on viagra with their tax rebate checks cashed. Sooner or later they'll win. I'd like to see Scott Speed in a couple of Sprint Cup races next year.
  • evernham if they get rid of the open weel driver and get 2 other drivers khanes good just needs better luck and elliot needs better luck
  • 1. JGR for a while. After this year they will have 3 drivers under the age of 30...not bad at all.

    2. RCR- Just got a feeling

    3. HMS- I think they will try to get Martin that elusive championship, while not focusing on their top dogs as much, but as usual they will be strong.

    4. Red Bull- Could be the surprise story. I hope they get a couple in the Chase next year, that would be great.
  • i think it will remain within the top four for quite a while: jgr has a lot of great talent and they're all under 30; hms is going to have the largest age spread, but definitely a ton of talent; roush's average will get better as a whole once they have to dump their fifth worst team; and rcr could become even more of a force with the right fourth team. i don't see anyone else cracking into their dominance anytime soon. stewart-cnc and yates have decent shots as "satellite teams" for hms and roush-fenway. and red bull, if they do get scott speed and vickers stays on a roll, they could be contenders.
  • Probably will be Childress, but Red Bull is coming on strong.
  • It's going to be RCR, and I'm not just saying that because my driver drives for them. Believe me, I'm a freak when I come to knowing exactly whats going on with Harvick and anything that impacts him and every week their engines have been getting better and better every week. It's not just one sided either, just look at the DEI cars at Daytona, those cars were stout all weekend. It seems the merger between them and RCR is finally starting to show some success. They are also getting a better grasp on the COT and chassis. You know that car Harvick drove to a 3rd place finish Saturday? Brand new car. Remember 06? I wouldn't say RCR dominated that year but they did have 5 wins in cup (4 of those were from Harvick) and god knows how many Busch series wins. It was like 16, with 9 of them all from Kevin. And they were only getting better and better. When they started introducing the COT it really seemed to throw them for a loop and slow up their progress but that seems to be changing. Richard isn't stupid. I'm sure whoever they put in that #33 they will not only be successful but also be beneficial to his other 3 teams when it comes to sharing information. They have expanded their whole organization in every area and by them adding another team it will only give them more recourses to draw upon. By next season I expect to see great things from that organization.
  • Its going to be RCR in my opinion. They seem to be getting tougher and tougher every year.
  • I agree with car18... What out for that Team Red Bull... They are going to be the spoilers next season...

    NASCAR driver quotes 6?

    May be...

  • Do you know which nascar driver said this?

"The first thing you do when you're in a streak like we've been in is you hide all the bullets in your house"
  • Jeff Burton
  • damn yall good
  • jeff burton.
  • dam gloria on top of stuff.....
  • "The first thing you do when you're in a streak like we've been in is you hide all the bullets in your house," Burton said. "That's the first thing, because it's not fun." (march '03)

    Go Jr.>>>>
  • How many Nascar drivers of today could compete in the old days?

    May be...

  • I think a lot of them could. They didnt just pop up over night and start racing at Daytona. They all had to start out racing local tracks and dirt tracks driving late models, sprint cars, or whatever.

Order the PPV of Tony Stewart's "Prelude to a Dream" and you can see them race on the dirt and do some good for charity.

How many of the old drivers do you think could come up and race today? Racing requires a lot more knowledge and technical savy as well as technique. Dale Sr. would get black flagged every race for his pushing and shoving now a days.

The point is, you are trying to compare apples to oranges.
  • Kyle Busch
    Tony Stewart
    Jeff Gordon
    Robby Gordon
    Juan Pablo MOntoya
    Carl Edwards
    Ryan Newman
    Michael Waltrip
    Bobby Labonte
  • Dale Jr.
    Jeff Gordon
    Jimmie Johnson
    Tony Stewart
    Mark Martin
    Bobby Labonte
  • jeff burton and mark martin
  • I think that some of the former dirt track drivers could give them a run, but with out powerstearing or power assist I honestly think that very few drivers, maybe less than 10 of them could. I mean have you ever tried to turn a car with no power steering in the sand. Its like trying to pull a 50 pound brick out from under a house!!! And sorry no offense, to the answer above that said Robby Gordon, I dont even think he could, just because he races Baja would help him on dirt tracks a little, but even then the Baja trucks have power stearing and 4x4.
  • Not many considering the schedule they used to keep, they ran prob three times the races that we see today thats where Petty got most of his wins lots and lots of races
  • I asked a question about an old driver. One person said the old guys had it easy. Petty ran most races in fair grounds up against country boys. Now they have more talent. HMM how about power steering. I don't think a little guy like Gordan, or Johnson can't steer an old race car around a dirt track with no power steering and win. Dale Jr. he could, maybe Smoke, but again straw man Casey Kahne doesn't have enough arm muscle for those old cars either. Edwards should be able to, but really how effective. Thats why new drivers can't hold a match to the real men that drove those real stock cars of years ago.
  • Tony stewart would dominate
  • I think Robby Gordon and Smoke could!
  • Not many of the newer ones would survive without the harnesses and such. One wreck and they would be dead. Have we already forgotten the harnesses that really protected the drivers came out after Earnhardts death. In addition the impact walls are new. With this bump and wreck new ones like Kyle Busch they would all soon be gone....gone to the cemetary if they had to survive with the old ways
  • What is the best team for Ryan Newman to race for next year?

    May be...

  • Racing for the new Stewart Haas team would be the best fit for Ryan. The Childress ride would be a good gig, too but, sponsorship is hard to come by & that 4th team isn't a shoe in to run a full schedule.

As for Logano not being able to race in Cup, he has tpo pass tests to race on certain trach & he'd be able to pass.
  • As people before me have said, Newman to Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) with Jack Daniels as the main sponsor is the biggest rumor. Either way he will end up in a Chevy. I know it sounds far fetched but back in the "Prelude race" Newman was the only Dodge driver to be driving a Chevy. He and Tony have been hanging around a lot lately and I am guessing here, but that is probably what started the rumors. Oh and can we say reunion......Matt Borland back on a pit box??!! Keep in mind SHR will be getting it's equipment from Hendrick. All these nay-sayers may have to pull their foot out of their mouths next year.

I for one would welcome a new address for Ryan, the 500 win was real nice this year, but aside from that it has been painfull to watch the past couple years.
  • I've been a fan of Newman's since 2003. I'm happy to see him leave since it's been downhill for the past little while. I think it started when Penske left Ford, but that's my opinion. The rumor is that Newman will be announced as the second driver for Stewat-Haas at Indy (oddly enough, two Hoosiers announcing that they'll be teamates in their home state). I don't know about this, but I got the impression there may be some slight investment on Newman's part at Haas too. Check Jayski, it says Newman has three options, one of which includes some ownership. I don't foresee him being an owner in JGR or RCR. Of course, there could be another deal we don't know about.
  • Stewart -Haas
  • Where do you think Ryan Newman shall go next year. As a fan of his since his Rookie Year, it's bitttersweet to see him leave the #12 Alltel car. It is the only team he has ever driven for in the Cup series so it's sad to see him change but it's exciting to know what the future holds for him. He struggled at Penske Racing but he also won 13 races for them in nine years. He's won the Daytona 500 and won the All-Star race in his rookie year. I think he'll probably go to Stewart-Haas racing based on rumors but the rumors last year for Newman that when his contract expired for this year he might want to join Richard Childress Racing for their 4th team next year. He might want to think about joining Joe Gibbs Racing for the 20 car and isn't Joe Gibbs Racing thinking about bringing a new team along next year. Well everything is a rumor until it's officially announced. I guess we'll wait and see what happens.
  • The best oppertunity for Ryan wuld be to able to drive in the #20 car but I hope he goes to Stewart-Haas so he becomes even less of a contender.
  • It's been heavily rumored that he will go to Tony's team. Although I think he would receive better equipment and more support at RCR then he would with a team like Tony's who will be going through some major changes the next few seasons. But your right, everything is just rumors and speculation on the fans and medias part until its announced. But I don't think it will be too long before there is an official announcement.

And as far as I know Joey Lagano is 18 so there is nothing keeping him from racing in the cup series. The only thing Nascar might have an issue with is the restrictor plate races and may want him to get more experience before they let him tackle Daytona or Talladega.

Overall Montoya has A LOT more experience than Joey does just in racing in general. I also think Montoya ran a few Nationwide plate races before he went full time in cup. Although don't quote me on that because I'm not sure. I think Joey might run the fall race at Dega in a few months and then I think it will become a non-issue regardless :)
  • I think if Truex doesnt leave DEI and go to Stewart/Haas Ryan will go to Stewart/Haas racing. Its just my opinion and guess.
  • Nascar & Americans?

  • I just like car racing. I've attened NASCAR, my local short track, Indy(before the split many years ago), and I just went to an American Le Mans race in CT this past weekend. I'm just a motorhead.
  • Please believe me...not ALL Americans like Nascar. It is a stupid 'sport' and a stupid stereotype for Americans. Obviously I do not like it. :-)
  • watch it, no explination necessary....just watch
  • I like it for the thrill, excitement and strategy. Its the same reason that everyone like something different.
  • What do "Americans" have to do with liking nascar???
  • Why do you spell our name Jon and not John? It's a preference.
  • its not about the sport of racing cars, coz as a huge nascar fan i gotta tell you, Formula one has the most invested tech in that sector. its about the environment of nascar, the family, the weekend at the races, the beer, the flags flying, tailgaiting, togetherness, all the stuff that warms the heart. oh and the girls in the infield with no shirts on. but the racing is key, probably the best racing any place
  • Its exciting to watch and follow, the same reasons any person loves any sport. I used to not get it myself but now I'm totally emotionally involved and hooked big time.
  • seeing people driving American cars at 200mph, It just gives me that adrenaline rush when i see it. Also, it's cool to see how there cars work.
  • Not all Americans love NASCAR...mostly southern americans love NASCAR....and a few exceptions like ME...

    Killa Cali SoN!!!

    Nascar's Dope like that....
  • Why do Americans love Nascar so much?
  • Who do you think is better, Dale Jr. or Kyle Busch?

    May be...

  • Worlds easiest question

    KYLE BUSCH is your answer.

    Since 2005 Kyle has

    11 wins

    Dale Jr has 3

And Kyles just keeps going up while Jr had his only hot streak from 01-04 now he is dimming like a candle
  • this season on record alone Shrub is walking away with the trophy
  • The eagle lands at midnight.
  • At this exact moment, KB because he's ahead in the points.
  • Yes.
  • I would love to see them both drive the same type of car and then make that comparison, but based on current preformance it is Kyle, hands down.

Just remember, he hasn't won the championship yet!!
  • Who is the better what? Driver? I think we have to give that to Kyle Busch currently. Statistics don't lie so currently we have to concede the better driver status to Kyle Busch. Now if we are talking about who is the better person? If I were given a chance to spend 15 minutes talking with Jr or Kyle, I'd opt for Junior. He seems far more humble and far more down to earth. But that's just me. And, for what it's worth, the humility and "down to earth"-ness doesn't mean a thing on the race track.
  • One has seven times as many Sprint Cup wins as the other. What do you think? Duh!!!!!
  • As of now Kyle is. We will have to wait few seasons down the road when history and stats will give us a better answser. Kyle is having a dream season thats for sure, but can he keep this up beyond this season?

Those two will be battaling for years to come I think.
  • Kyle Busch hands down
  • Hands down................Rowdy!!!

To those who point to Jr's humility, who cares! Rowdy is and should be proud of what he's done this year.
  • I think Kyle Busch has no fear--that is one thing you need for racing, besides a good car and driving skills to pull off many wins.

It is not that Busch is better then Jr., it is because he is less fearfull then him. Which one could call lack of common sense/stupid driving or the best driving they have ever seen.
  • Kyle Busch is the better driver. As far as the better person? I don't know. I've never personally met them. Jr seems really honest and humble. Kyle was a little smart*** for a few years but he seems to be growing up. My 15 yr old is also a smart*** but hopefully one day he will also grow up. I think Kyle is on to great things.
  • I still say Jr has the upper hand. Give me the thumbs down, Jr still doesn't put the blame on anybody else (I am NOT bashing Kyle) he accepts it and most times, will take the fault. The last person he blamed for a wreck was NASCAR in Cali for racing on a wet track.

He accepted the crash at New Hampshire, when McMurry smacked into him. If that was Kyle, he would have said, "Is the 26 blind? How can he not see a bright yellow car?"

But Kyle is sure driving the wheels off his cars, and will be tough to beat.
  • junior is the best because he is so popular guy
  • Hold on, let me take my blinders off. Ok ok, it's Kyle, easily
  • Kyle Busch
  • Kyle is..
  • Kyle busch
  • Kyle Busch
  • Will Kyle Busch hit the magic 10?

    May be...

  • im a dale fan and i do feel that toyota has an hourse power advange but kyle is a great driver i love his style crazy loosse and fast but it piss me off to see him wipp my drivers *** every week end but i give him props and when its your year its your year

(dang rowds number one fan you made me hungry)
  • I think so.
  • Well I think time will tell, but the highest Kyle will ever get to is 10. Thats a tough thing to accomplish in a season, but right now he has a good shot at the Cup. Then again anything can happen. Remember Jeff Gordons 400+ lead before the chase then Jimmie Johnson led by 10-20 points. Well Kyle leads by 60 as of know, and others challenged for the win, but his lead will diminish. So will his chances at the cup...
  • yes he will
  • Of course with out any doubt he will not only win 10 but I gurantee he will win more than 10 and will have a chance to break the modern era record of 13 wins held by Jeff Gordon and Richard Petty. JGR and the 18 team is head and shoulders above the competition right now and has been all year. The 18 car and team are in a zone right now where nothing can goes wrong and everything goes right. I don't see that team slowing down whatesoever anytime soon. Even though Kyle won't admit it, I truly believe he is out to show Rick Hendrick he made a mistake in letting hiim go and is peforming at a level not seen in quite a long time. It will be a major disappointment if he doesn't win the title because at this stage no one is close to him with the only drivers to watch out for would be Edwards, Johnson and Kenseth as they have been running well as of late and run good in the chase.
  • hell no
  • Without a doubt.
  • I like it!
  • It looks like that

I won't be surprised if he gets 13 or even more, he is out to prove people wrong, and everytime I have doubted him this season, he goes out and puts all doubts to rest. He's won at every type of track on the schedule now, so I don't see why not. He had the best run going in the chase last season, but got into an accident with Jr. at Kansas, so I look for him to win some in the chase, also. The team is really clicking.
  • i abulutly hate to admit it but i think he will
  • Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, and Rusty Wallace all have hit the 10/10 plus win mark in recent history NASCAR. Do you think Kyle will hit the Magic 10? How many do you think he will end up with? Wouldn't a win at the Brickyard be the cherry on top of the year he is having? Thoughts?

    Food for thought:

Jimmie (10) won 4 of the last 5 races in 2007: He won the cup

Jeff Gordon won 13 in 1998. With the last three wins in the last 4 races: He won the cup

Rusty (10) did it in1993 but lost the cup to Dale Sr by 80 points.
  • i do believe he will. my question is will he pull off a double-double - double-digit wins in two series? i have a feeling a triple-double might be out of reach, but a double-double would be cool. and he's already tied yet another record - 14 wins across series, set by kevin harvick in 2006 (9 nns and 5 cup wins). one more in any of the top three series and he'll own another record.

hmm, making myself hungry for an in-and-out burger with all this double-double talk...
    ;-)
  • I THANK HE WOULD WIN TEN AND SOME MORE BUT I HOPE HE WONT WIN ANY MORE
  • 13.7.08

Why do people say the only way Kyle can win in the sprint cup is by wrecking people?

    May be...

  • He's been labeled a "wreckers or checkers" driver.
    That's actually an exaggeration.
And most likely has to do with 2 separate events this year, both occurring at Richmond, 1st in the Nationwide race, he went on national television and proclaimed he'd "take out as many drivers as I need to to win a race"
then the very next night while fighting for position with Dale Jr. Jr spun out and Kyle was officially labeled nascar's new whipping boy.
He doesn't need to wreck people to win, he never has.

edit:doesn't matter if that's what he meant, that's how it was interpreted!!
  • Someone tell me who he wrecked last night, the week before that, the week before that, etc etc. Some people are still saying he can only wreck people to win. Who all's he wrecked in the Sprint Cup this season in order to win besides the Richmond race which was 2 ppl going for the same spot, JR even said so?? Are they just living life with blinders on? Kyle could have wrecked JJ last night but didnt. He could have wrecked Carl last week and didnt etc ...If he really wrecks someone every race he wins I want to hear it because its not been showing up on my tv
  • I think it is the comment that he said awhile back that he would do anything to win, including wrecking people, he has been racing clean for the past several weeks, and is doing very well. But in the mean time it has been pretty boring to watch the races lately,I see my self not payng attention to it that much anymore cause it is tooooo boring.
  • They say it because they need an excuse why their driver didn't win. Don't get me wrong I'm not a fan of his but he has done some great driving lately.
  • why why why why why
God thats all i've heard out of yall why why
  • Nobody has said he can only win by wrecking people. What people HAVE said is that he has wrecked people to win.

    3 names:

    1. Dale Jr at Richmond
    2. Johnny Benson at Martinsville
    3. Ron Hornaday at Michigan

Thats not counting the run-in with Steve Wallace at Richmond, where afterwards, he said he would do whatever it takes, including wrecking people, to win.

This also doesnt include the Keselowski incident at Darlington, where he drove it in way too deep in Turn 1, got into the side of Keselowski, then said it was Keselowski's fault that Busch wrecked...

Nobody can deny that Busch has the talent to be one of the best drivers in NASCAR. He just needs to tone it down and pick his spots when he can go out and show his talent. You dont need to go all out and lead every lap of every race. It is the last one that counts. Maybe if he would realize this, he would still be going for the Nationwide Championship as well, but he tried to do too much in those races about a month ago and wrecked out of a few, and now he has scaled his schedule back because of it.

I think in time he will figure it out and will be one of the best, if not the best, driver over the next 10 years or so. And, this is coming from a Jr fan...

EDIT: Rowdy's #1 Fan: Really, no one, including Gordon or Johnson, have said Kyle Busch was wrong?

"I thought it was typical Kyle Busch," Gordon said of the contact between Busch and Earnhardt at Richmond. "He was racing too hard and I think he just drove in too deep. Turn 3, when you're on the inside, you've got to be the conservative one. You can't be the aggressor. And the guy on the outside, you know he's going to hold you. And he's going to pinch you. If you don't want to wreck, you're going to have to check up a little early and try to get a run on him at the bottom of the corner and then drive down into Turn 1 and get him. Or, beat him off Turn 2. You can't try to outrun a guy into Turn 3, not when you're on the inside like that."

As for the Hornaday incident: Oh, I see... Because Hornaday has done it to someone else, that makes it perfectly acceptable for Busch to play Mr. Police and exact revenge for what Hornaday has done in the past. And, your quote of Hornaday afterwards wasnt exactly accurate. He did say that Kyle Busch had fresher tires, but Hornaday did not cut down on Kyle. Busch blatantly drove up on the rear bumper of Hornaday and turned him. Hornaday said that he gave Kyle either the top or the bottom, but he decided that the line Hornaday was in was the line Busch wanted...

EDIT #2: Kyle Busch was the one who said "you mess with the bull, you get the horns"... So, you are saying that Busch made the comment about wrecking as many as it takes as a response to his own comment?

Just because he didnt add "to win" onto the end of the comment about wrecking as many people as it takes, does that mean that he wouldnt wreck as many people as it took TO WIN? Isnt the point of racing TO WIN? So, by wrecking as many people as it took, the end result of doing so would be to be in Victory Lane, would it not? We can argue about this all night. You will defend your driver, and I will defend the other end... We all have our own opinions...

Just for reference, here is the Busch/Wallace incident. Skip to the 3 min mark to hear what both of them had to say after the race... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fc8DF2j4Z...
  • obviously you are very ignorant when it comes to your nascar knowledge because to be an aggressive driver you don't have to wreck people you can not give them any room coming into a turn or be impatient on a restart as we saw kyle do last night or start a slow restart as we saw last week or be pushy with the leader as we saw with kyle busch at richmond and at darlington so if you don't know why people hate kyle busch your as ignorant as kyle busch
  • Kyle is cleaner than most drivers

lala you're ignorant- With 2 to go are you supposed to give people room? Do you think drivers should just move out of the way? He is a truly talented driver. You just try to blame him for anything and everything huh? How many people has he really wrecked? Maybe you're just jealous of how good he is, not sure. Kyle didn't do anything wrong last night, or at Daytona, quit making up stuff to make yourself feel better. What if Dale Jr. had done the same things that Kyle did? You wouldn't have cared. What you described in your answer sounds a lot like Dale Sr. Glad you spot the resemblance
  • no one said he has to wreck anybody and what most say is that he has to be extremely aggressive... which is not wrecking them... everyone needs to just drop the why do we hate kyle, kyle is the best, kyle this kyle that because ya'll are just going to get the same answers over and over again
  • Anybody that touches Dale Jr. one time and knocks him out of a win is going to have that said about them.
  • ignorance. ignorance of the facts and ignorance of how races are won. pinning someone down or not giving them room or trying something on a late restart are things that everybody does. you haven't heard one person - gordon or johnson included - who said that kyle did anything wrong or reckless in those races. heck, even cousin carl said outright he didn't let up when gordon got into him on that last restart in daytona - he'd have been an idiot if he had.

as for his three supposedly intentional wrecks, i'll give you the benson mistake in martinsville - that was dumb. but who hasn't made a dumb mistake. as for richmond, that was two guys going for the same spot - if junior doesn't have a problem with it, why should anyone else. and the hornaday wreck, hornaday is a big mouth, and has done more wrecking of others on the track than kyle will ever do. hornaday admitted kyle had the faster truck on his four new tires, yet hornaday came down on him trying to cut him off and he missed. he tried the same thing the next week with bodine and missed again. blaming that on kyle is ludicrous. all five of hornaday's fans may disagree, but that's their opinion.

EDIT: for everyone who keeps claiming that kyle said he would wreck as many cars as it takes to win a race, i highly suggest you go back and listen again. he was saying that he wasn't running for the points in the nationwide series, like steven wallace was. his "i'll wreck as many cars as i need to" was aimed at steven wallace in follow-up to the comment "if you mess with the bull, you're going to get the horns." he NEVER added "in order to win a race." watch it again and get back to me.
  • Jealousy...

I am so sick of everyone saying Kyle bumps/wrecks a lot of people when he doesn't. So here is a chart of what has Kyle or into or hit so far this year.

    Cup:
    Daytona - None
    Califorina - None
    Vegas - None
Atlanta - Jarrett was slowing him done for the last 5 laps. He asked his spotter to talk to a car multiple laps down and they didn't want to move. Even during the race he broadcast or video you here Kyle say Jeff, his spotters name and the reply was I'm working on it. Jarrett decided to stay therer and Kyle bumped him to get him out of his line.
Bristol - Power steering broke and he spun himself
Martinsvile - None, Kurt actually spun him. Which seemed to break a gear.
    Texas - None
    Phoenix - None
Dega - Plenty will say that he ran into Jamie doing a dumb move but they don't see the shot Ragan gave him a shot/bump draft that sent him up there and Juan hit the #26 to make him run into Kyle.
Richmond - Well we all have different views on what happen there now don't we.
Darlington - Ran into Biffle accidentally knowing he was wrong he gave the spot back and passed him cleanly a couple laps later.
    All Star Race - None
600 - None but Gordon was upset that Kyle gave him finger when Kyle felt Jeff was holding him up.
    Dover - None
Pocono - He ran into the #26 and contributing factors was a broken mirror and he not waiting for the spotter. Also he spun because the car was so loose.
    Sonoma - None
Loudon - He didn't hit anyone except rub up on Montoya's door which is how a lot of others show their displeasure and Juan spun him intentionally.
Daytona - None. Got bumped by Denny and made one of the best saves ever and got it to the apron so as to not take anyone else out
    Chicagoland - None

    Nationwide:
Daytona - Well some had a problem with him blocking his position on the last lap (Truex). But isn't that what you have to do in plate racing. But other then that none.
    California - None
Vegas - Had a flat tire and wreck himself but no incidents
Atlanta - broken shock mount broke a tire but no incidents
Bristol - got into a wreck when Truex spun out. He was unlucky enough to be in the way when Truex came back up the track after another car hit him.
Nashville - Spun himself out. He was in the way of Wimmer after he came out of the pits but once he relized he couldn't get his laps back he go out of the way.
    Texas - None
    Phoenix - None
    Mexico - None
Dega - Got caught up in the big one but that was Kevin Lepage's fault.
Richmond - Steven Wallace hit him with a lap to go and moved out of the way before Kyle hit him back. So not sure if you are going to say he hit Steven or not.
Darlington - Spun when he and the #88 made contact. That wreck is very hard to place fault on in my opinion but others may see it differently. One just came up and the other came down.
    Charlatte - None
Dover - Leffler got into the back of him spinning him out.
Nashville - He was semi involve in the wreck where they went 4 wide and Logano hit the wall. I don't count that as him running into any one their where just to much cars fighting for one spot.
    Kentucky - Spun himself.
    Loudon - None
    Daytona - None
    Chicagoland - None

    Trucks:
Daytona - He and Skinner go together causing the big one. I attribute a lot of that wreck to plate racing, but many won't.
    California - None
Atlanta - He got into Bruan while Bruan had a flat tire because he was racing on the apron.
Martinsville - He got into a car that was holding up everyone all day. He ran bumped the #11 to pass him and the car owner saw that coming. Thats how you pass at Martinsville. Skinner ran out of fuel in front of him and he ran up into him because Skinner just stopped in the middle of the track. And the Benson deal where Kyle was very wrong.
Charolette - Hornaday got loose and ran into him.
Dover - None, had to go to the garage and change transmissions
    Texas -None
Michigan - The Hornaday incident, where if you look at the incident from Ron's in car camara you will see Hornaday come down when Kyle came up that wreck being both their faults.

So that's 3 incidents in cup where he hit or got hit by someone, I think only 1 incident in the nationwide series where he hit someone else instead of getting himself into trouble and I'll give you 5 in trucks. So in 45 races he has hit someone 10 times. Almost all his incidents where deals where it only involved him and one other car. Keep in mind he has competed in more races than anyone else. He has been in a lot of incidents where he has hurt himself and where others have hurt him as well. He doesn't get in that many incidents as people think . I always felt that his aggressive nature hurts himself more than anyone else. He is much less aggressive than some of your alls old heros like Dale Sr. 3 incidents in Cup isn't bad, considering that two of them resulted in him being the only one wrecking, and the only one where he actually caused someone to wreck was Richmond. That one is very debatable since Jr. even said it was just hard racing.

Deny Kyles talent all you want folks, its just going to make you hate him worse each time he wins and your driver doesn't!
  • Am I the only one that actually likes the top 35 rule?

    May be...

  • I luv the rule extremely fair
  • Your not the only one. I like the Top 35 rule. It adds competition to the field fillers.
  • I'm all for it... I just wish the competition wasn't dwindling for the go-or-go-homers because of the lack of sponsorship. Heck, qualifying has been more interesting than the actual races at some points this year!
  • i think its fair enough
hell they could drop it to 30
  • They should drop it to the top 25 and then the next fastest 18 cars get in no matter what
and also the go homers should qualify first
  • 1. Lock in the top-12 drivers. That will give security to those competing for a Championship.
    2. Previous year's owner points do not matter (no more "locked in" to the 1st 5 races of a season). Lock in the top-12 drivers from the previous year into the Daytona 500 ONLY. Think of how crazy Daytona will be if they are all fighting for the top-12 in points in order to be locked into the next race!

** Also: Get rid of the past champion's provisional. It has not been used for its intended purpose in YEARS.

My biggest issue with the top-35 is that there are only 8 open spots. If they moved the number to even 30, 25, 20, etc... it would be an improvement.
  • If you don't like it, throw some ideas out there.
  • i love it i always like watching the go or go home cars go at it its one of the best things about the sport
  • I still maintain that ALL drivers should qualify on time. Either you are in the top 43 with your qualifying speed, or you are not! If the fan favorite doesn't qualify this week? He better try harder next week. It gives EVERYBODY a chance to race and to start where they qualified. ie: Said in the Daytona! How fair was that?

    Go Jr.>>>>
  • I'm OK with the rule. I know it's there for the sponsors of the big teams to make sure they get there monies worth. The only thing I don't like is the impound races. these guys have to work hard to get there car in a race and then they can't change it to be competitive in the race. Makes for a worse show for the fans.
  • I've never had any problem with it. I think it's a good number because it rewards the top drivers and crews who show up every week for the races by guaranteeing them a spot. If they were going to make any changes I would say maybe dropping it down to the top 30 or 25 but I really don't see the need to change anything.
  • that is a stupid rule, i think it kills competition. first of all if you are in the top 35 at seasons end you are an automatic entry at the next years first 5 races. that puts the whole notion of a fresh new season for some teams in the trash. coz they come to daytona with the same woes. spending all week trying to qualify for the race, while other teams can concentrate on the actuall race. if they do get in the race they suck coz they dont have a race trim dialed down and go laps down early. meaning that after five races they'll proly still be outside of the top 35. its stupid. i hate it. i'd like to see all the teams make every race on time. i call that fair. the pats didnt have a 14 point lead on the g men before the first whistle did they.
  • i think nascar likes it, and those drivers who are in the top 35 like it too, as do their teams, their owners, their sponsors and their fans. there are good reasons to have it, and it has its downsides. until someone comes up with something that addresses the downsides yet doesn't mess with its upsides, it's the best thing going.

i like it because once the chase starts, you've got racing all over the place in the points - you've got chasers running for the championship, and amongst them you've got guys shooting for the top ten, as #11 and #12 in the points don't go to the awards dinner. then there's the race for #13, as whoever finishes there wins an extra $1 million. then there's the race for the top 35, as they get to automatically start the first five races of the next year. so people who are fans of drivers all up and down the spectrum can stay interested no matter where there driver is.

    that's my $0.18.
  • It su_c_ks. You qualify your way in-every race. It's always been that way. It locks out new start-up teams.
  • I wouldn't mind if they dropped it down to the top 30. I think that if it happened it would be even more exciting to watch the go or go homers.
  • NAW
  • I like it too, but think it should be dropped to 30... at least for the first 5 races of the next season. The way it is set up, if you're not in the top 35 at the end of the year, you're in a lot of trouble at the start of the next season right off the bat. It is making it harder and harder on startup teams to get a foot hold. And since some team always brings some semi-retired past champion for the first few races, you have a dozen teams beating each other in and out each week for 7 spots. By the time the 6th races toll around, the top 35 is pretty much set for the rest of the year... barring any kind of penalty like the one that knocked the 66 car out of the top 35.
  • Is this Marco Andretti?

    May be...

  • no, and i have met him and John andretti 2
  • Well, since the URL has the name Christian Klien in it, I would assume it's Honda F1 driver Christian Klien.

    If so he's really hot :o <3
  • Nope not Marco, he has lighter hair, and a different face all together, thats probably a Honda guy, test driver or a engineer or something.

    Go Helio
  • No, it's not. I don't know who that is.
  • No. that person is nowhere close to even looking like my future hubby.

    Click the link below.
  • No, thats defiantly not Marco. He does look sort of familiar though, I wonder where I've seen him before?
  • Formula 1: DO YOU THINK THAT ROBERT KUBICA IS UGLY?

    May be...

  • He looks quite nice when he has his hat on and you look at him face on but when you see his profile it is a bit like "WOW"!!

Looks aren't everything though and he's doing better in life than I ever will!
  • man, isn't he? he's got to wear cap, sun-glasses and grow beard to look remotely OK...
  • LOL yepp! but FAST
  • Robert is far from handsome....but he is NOT ugly...no way...and then the way he drives + the amount of money he earns compensate the lack of "handsomeness"...hehehe
  • With a pay cheque like his, I doubt the women will mind...
  • No, not really.
I heard people say how ugly he is before I actually saw him for the first time.
When I did, he didn't look ugly, he could do with a little more hair but he's just a guy, nothing wrong with his face.
  • No, not particularly.
  • yep got skinny face lOl
  • No actually I don't. he's not got the angelic looks of Brad Pitt, but hey I've seen ugly, and he's not it!!!
  • Beauty is NOT important. He is a good driver.
  • What the heck does it matter what he looks like, he's one of the best in the world at his job, and unless you are planning a relationship with him, why would his looks matter to you anyways.
    Mike t.
  • What an intelligent question! What does a persons looks have to do with their skills as a driver?
  • Looks like the only thing that can slow Kyle Busch down is the mud. I thought that was pretty cool.?

    May be...

  • Kyle Busch is by no means the first NASCAR driver to ever get stuck in the infield grass after a day of rain. The fact is he won the race and the coolest part was seeing the whole team come out to show that they are there for him no matter what the circumstance.

Maybe in your 4 years of watching races you should have taken your eyes off of where jr was going to end up finishing and paid a little more attention to the ones that know how to get it done when its time to lay it on the line.
  • dangit Johnson shoulda won but who in there right mind lets Kyle get the outside I was so mad
  • I thought that was pretty funny. Didnt Jr. blow a transmission doing a burn out a couple of years ago and have to be pushed to VL?
  • I had to laugh at that one. However, I guess the point is that you are going to victory lane one way or another. I've seen people pushed before but I'm not sure if they were ever stuck in the mud.
  • In my my four years of watching Nascar I never seen a car get stuck in the mud. What did you think of Kyle's little problem with the mud?

    Go Kyle.B
  • Im sure all of the other drivers would have loved to been the guy stuck in the mud after winning the race.
  • Okay, I was even laughing at that one a little.
  • I thought it was funny and he could have cared less. I love his attitude he is out there to win it and thats, that!
  • Pick your winner at the chicago cup race tonight?!!!!?

    May be...

  • #18
  • I'm suprised no one has said Kevin Harvick yet. Sure, he hasn't had the best season this, but he's bound to bouce back and make some noise sometime! Besides, Harvick always runs good at Chicagoland. One thing I am really interested in tonight though is if there will be a driver in the top ten who no one expects. With qualifying rained out, will a suprise car/driver be able to come from the back?
  • i want rowdy to win, but he's been picked, so i'll take smoke in the #20.
  • though i wish it was junior i think that it will be kyle busch which sucks really bad
  • dale jr. it's his turn to move up the points chart
  • Gonna have to go with #9 Kasey Kahne
  • Matt Kenseth.

    Go Jr.>>>>
  • Jeff Gordon
  • kyle busch is the winner because he race like he stole gold and toyota will win.People say that toyota is fastest in nascar history.and on pepsi 400. Danny Hamilln knock kyle busch to last and you saw him... he came back to first and WIN!Well if you fight me.Watch who wins tonight.Kyle Busch is the FASTEST car out there.Dale Jr.He slow.He win 1 time and Kyle Busch wins 6 times and plus nationwide series is 7 times and craftman truck 2 time which is 15 wins for this year so dont bring a fight
  • Jimmie Johnson

I keep telling yah BEAN. Get out the flash cards. lol
  • I am gonna have to go with Kyle Busch again like I did last nite
  • I have a strong feeling it's gonna be the 2nd win of the season for Jr. (If Kyle don't take him out for the win) but it's gonna be between those two. That would be my guess
  • well, nice all the good ones where taken, i'll say greg biffle.
  • Martin Truex Jr

    DEI Horsepower!!

***** Happy Birthday Benny Parsons!!********* RIP
  • Johnson
  • kyle busch... i hate to say it..lol.. but he is a good driver.. or kasey!
  • "Cousin" Carl Edwards
  • tony but go jeff gorden
  • Kyle Busch
  • jr, hes gonna take it.
  • Happy Harvick
  • Since all were picked I am going with the top 10 underdog and say David Ragan. Well it ISN'T a long shot. he could do it.

I changed from Matt since Gloria took him.
  • pick 1 driver and try not to pick one of the same or you wont win
10 points yall know how to play!!!!!!!!!!!

    well some of you?
  • Who's better?Kyle Busch or Dale Earnhardt Jr. on nascar?

    May be...

  • Well considering that both get paid to drive racecars for a living they are both good, however kyle busch has been putting up the number this year with 6 wins aginst dale's 1
  • Kyle 'cuz he knows how ta drive like he stole it!

Jr. may be staying out of trouble, but Kyle's got way more balls than he does. He even wrecked Jr. when he was in the lead knowing all the fans would be peed-off at him. Kyle's got the guts and talents. Jr. is just a wannabe out there.
  • Kyle Busch is way better than Dale Jr.
  • Busch or Earnhardt "on" NASCAR? I guess you mean a computer game. Junior's supposed to be wicked good at computer games.

To Mr. Tbone: Nobody is so think as you drunk they are. ; )
  • you can't compare the two b/c they are nowhere near the same....they have two completely different driving styles and are from two totally different generations....no comparison is needed....they are both talented... you don't see me on the track, they are.
  • Is Kyle Busch better because he won lots of wins or Dale Earnhardt Jr. because of his dad?
  • whats jr s dad got to do with it
im one helluva bowhunter but my dad did'nt make me that good and he hunted also but he did'nt make me as good as i am today
the way it looks we will find out in the chase who's the best
  • well wait only haters of junior think that junior is only good because of senior junior is good because he is able to race so well... last year he was able to continue to run a race with no power steering, last week at the end of the race he was able to motor to an 8th place finish with no friends to help him, junior was able to keep his head up after finishing 19th in points because teresa decided to switch waltrip's and earnhardt's teams... junior is an amazing drivers just because he doesn't have the wins to prove doesn't mean he isn't great dale junior is 10 times better than kyle because dale's personality is 20 times better than kyle... and i am not hating on kyle i am just being honest and many people will say that kyle has a bad attitude
  • 1 word JRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR BUSCH SUCKS Report Abuse
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr
  • First of all there is no comparision in Dale Jr & Dale Sr.. So what Kyle is winning races.. wait till some bad luck hits him which he is over due for (I do not hate Kyle Busch) but it happens to all drivers.. Dale Jr is 2nd in the points, yes Kyle has talent I do not deny him..But theres time when consistency is more than winning....

    Go Dale Jr & Hms
  • they both are good , dale sexier, but i adore kyle ears, gives you something to hold on to you know................!
  • Kyle Busch!!!!

While Busch often is the target of critics who accuse him of being smug or cocky, he's anything but, at least in Todd Bodine's eyes.

"He's not as bad of a kid as everybody thinks," Bodine said. "Everybody thinks he's a cocky little (expletive), but I'm here to tell you he's not. He's a real good kid. He's confident. There's a difference between confidence and cocky. He's just very confident вЂ" and he should be."
  • Kyle Bush has won tons of races this season, but he's sooo full of himself! Earnheart IS WAY cooler and a better, cleaner racer. Earnheart is clean, bush will do anythin to win!!
  • well first i think this little guy is talking about whose the best driver in nascar, if that is the question, no doubt Kyle is the most talented, nationwide, any track any car, makes no difference. Second why the daddy factor he brings to the table is i think b-cause sooooo many ppl do support jr. on the fact he lost his daddy in this profession, and they loved the intimdator as well, so the buck is passed down to the son b-cause of the dad. sorry but true jr.fans. Kyle rules 08. Don't hate,,,,,, Appreciate!!
  • You can't be anymore consistent then being first Gloria. You drinking already darlin?

Its Ok Gloria. Im only on my 2nd. Obviously I have some catching up to do. I have a job at 11PM. I may use a cab tonight..
  • Kyle cause he wins
  • Kyle is not my favourite, but you gotta give him some respect due to his 6 wins and the booing week in and week out has been getting less and less.... expect in the Nationwide... ;)
  • last year i woldv said busch becus of jr's season
but this year now that jr. has a better car it's him(not bcuse of his dad because of his kickass racing)
  • A stupid question for sure...Kyle beat dale Earnhardt hands down....Dale has to stand on his own two feet and not use the father to compair...
  • Kyle is a winner. Like him or hate him. He wins.
  • kyle is way better than jr watch and see, kyle will win the championship... it will be so funny,i bet rick will be kicking his self all the way to new york...
  • HECK NO!

Jr is the best. out of ur choices that is.
  • Kyle wins more often, Jr. is far more consistent. After all, Jr. is 2nd, with just one win. It took Kyle multiple wins to be in first. Let's just leave Dale Sr. out of the equation all together.

    Go Jr.>>>>
  • Let's compare Kyle and Dale Jr. since Kyle started in 2004:

    Kyle: 10 wins
    Dale Jr.: 3 wins

    ok there you have it.
  •
