Nascar Nation...What are you doing for the race tomorrow?

May be...

  • Where are you watching it?
    What are you eating/drinking?
    Are you excited!

    Have fun!

    -storm-
  • My son has a cub scout pack meeting for the beginning of the race so i will be there otherwise when i come home i will be glued to the TV.
If the weather is cold i think i will be making chili and rice.
    Of course i am excited!
  • I'll be watching either in my bedroom or my living room. If I eat anything, it'll be a snack, since I usually eat lunch earlier than the races start. Yeah, I'm kind of excited, since Atlanta usually has good races.
  • I will be in my room, multi tasking, watching the race and doing my homework.

I will be eating, who knows? Something good though!

Am I excited? Heck yes I am, I am always excited for Raceday!
  • Unfortunately, I have work tomorrow and I will have to listen to the first half on the radio. then I get home at 4 and I can watch the second half.
  • I will defintly be watching the race..I hope kyle has another bad day and stays in last place..Thats what he gets for his crap this year. Anyways I am hoping that Jr. can get another 2nd finish if not the win..But yeah basically I'll be watching the race.
  • I'll be watching it at home as usual. Probably Beef stew this week, it's pretty chilly here. Then we have the normal chips n dip, Trail Bologna & crackers, lot's of finger food, veggies n dip and Apple Caramel cake for desert.
Excited, oh heck ya! I'll be up early, get my cooking and cleaning done in time for the start of the race and park my tush on the couch with my loved ones and enjoy the race.
You have fun too and enjoy the race. Good luck to everyones favorite drivers!
  • Where are you watching it? My living room is my easy chair right beside my lovely wife.
What are you eating/drinking?Chips & hot sauce from my favorite mexican food place to eat at.
Are you excited! Im very excited as I always am for any race. I think its going to be better than the spring race there.

    : )
  • I am supposed to be attending a baby shower. But I am not. I called them to say I couldn't make it. so I guess, if it isn't rained out I'll watch it here. Nothing special I guess. It's rainy here todaya nd I don't know what tomorrow will be like.
  • Hell Yeah I'm Excited

Watching it downstairs by myself.... i already checked no boogeyman
    Eating: Whatever
    Drinking a Coke Zero
    Hell Yeah!!

    You Too!
  • I'll be watching it at home wearing my Dale Jr. National Guard T-shirt.
    Drinking Dr. Pepper.
    Heck yeah, I'm excited :D

  • I'll watch probably the first half of the race then I gotta spend the rest of my day moving....
  • my living room. yes.
  • i am watching it at my grandma and grandpa's, we are going to eat and drink wat ever we feel like and DUH im excited to see kasey kahne win!!
  • I'll watch it and no friends are coming over so I'll order pizza. After that, I'll watch the Phillies game!
  • Will be at work for the first part. Then will come home and watch it
    1.) Watching it at home
    2.) Drinking dr. pepper
3.) Yeah , I am hoping Junior can pull off a win this week.
  • home alone
    mt dew
    i reckon
    superdave is so lucky
  • We'll be at my in-law's house.
    We'll most likely order pizza.
    Heck Yeah!!!right time the wrong
  • Who has the uggliest car in nascar?

    May be...

  • Clint Bowyer
  • I'm surprised that people don't like Bowyer's Jack Daniels car. I like it. Unless you're talking about his Nationwide ride. That car is ugly! I think the #99 should be painted to look like a screaming duck!
  • One more for Aflack.

NASCAR is a family sport, people bring their children to watch, no way in HELL would I have my kids there while some sort of wet t-shirt contest was going on, that craps for bars and nightclubs, NOT NASCAR races!!! Gimme a freakin' break!!
  • bowyer's car, edwards' aflac car, and kenseth's greenish car (he ran it once i think) are all pretty bad. but as i pay most attention to my boys' cars, i have to say the pedigree car/firesuit combo is terrible. kyle looks like a tall bag of dog food in that firesuit. i think the only one that comes close to being that ugly (of kyle's cars), is that orange combos car he ran at dover the first time around. yikes.
  • david gilliland's no 38 sponsored by freecreditreport.com. dark purple doesn't look good on a racecar.
    and kyle busch's pedigree car.
    and the aflac car.
    and joe nemechek's car (yuck)
and Joey logano's 02 car. white and orange? stupid!
and how could i forget the dover-winning combos car of kyle busch? that's even worse than pedigree!
and also stewart's subway car. that thing is just plain ugly. yellow and green and orange and white? No, no no!
  • AFLAC
  • not a big fan of the aflac scheme, the pedigree(dog food) scheme(too bland), the subway scheme, and i think it's the "furniture row" scheme...it was lagging behind at dega, and i have to say that car is ugly!
  • unfortunately because I like him, Kevin Harvick. the shell car is ugly as hell and it's because of the predominately yellow (mustard) and plain red (ketchup) coupled with the sponsor in bed with Iran. It looks like a food fight with corndog condiments.
  • I personally despise Carl's AFLAC cars this year.

....sorry, Tina, but the pink stays for one more week. It has significance....
  • Definitely Dale Jr.Poor fella, those ugly Amp colors are so bland.
  • the #24 fag wagon is dreadful and so is the driver................
  • I dont know why people dont like the Aflac car, I like it.

My least favorite car though would have to be the 15 of Paul Menards. That bright yellow just is gross for me, I dont care for it at all.
  • Joe Nemecheck or Dave Marquis!
  • kyles pedigree csr just kinda sucks its boring

and he spun dale in it lol jk
  • Any car that Kyle Busch is in!
  • I'm not a fan of the AFLAC green/yellow, I love the Duck, but that car is ugly.... Congrats Carl on your engagement to Kate.

    Go Dale Jr & Hms
  • I guess I'm just sick to death of the Lowe's car, I've seen so much of it lately. I'll say the 48.
  • AFLAC......Yuk!
  • Any of the pink cars for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I know they were for a good cause but they were still ugly.

I think if they really wanted people's attention for BCA month then a wet t-shirt contest would have gotten more attention.

Sorry but those pink cars and avatars were ugly. LOL
    -----
Oh yea thumbs me down ... like everyone else wasn't thinking the same thing ... they just didn't have the gonads to say it ...!!!
    ------
Seriously ... a month long wet t-shirt contest during spring break would raise all kind of money to help support the cause. Why have it in fall (a gloomy month)? Have it in spring ...!!!
  • I think at one time or another they all had the ugliest car at least once.(except for Mikey's of course. His are always pretty good:) )
When I first read the question Jeff Gordon came to mind. I can't remember what paint scheme it was, except it was black.
  • That barf-green Aflac car makes me nauseous.
  • now when i say this i mean know disrespect to anyone but i think poor Jeff Gordon has rode around in that ugly car long enough.Time to give him a new scheme. sorrymobic patent expiration

What current driver cries the most?

    May be...

  • Kyle Bush. I have seen him cry,
  • The only two I have ever seen cry, as in get emotional are Jeff Gordan (Daytona win) and Casey Mears (first sprint cup win).
  • Tony Stewart (Which is the biggest NASCAR cry baby!)
    Kyle Bush
    Kevin Harvick
  • You mean crying or whining?

I don't think I've ever seen one of them cry on camera. I think Matt Kenseth's eyes got a little moist after a race he won last year (was it California?), but no, like, noticeable sobbing.
  • Tony Stewart!! I get so tired of hearing his excuses
  • Home Depot dog food?
  • if your talking about kyle busch I totally agree but apparently he got it from his brother who last week wanted to just park his car because he wasn't doing that well, that is a true cry baby
  • It was Mark Martin. Now, for sure, Kyle Shrub. His whining and wanting to park his car last week cinched it for me.
  • Um, ok.
  • "YOU"?
  • None of them!
Edit: JM stop the Jr hating, he has never cried on camera, except maybe the day his DAD DIED!
  • guys NO BASHING!
Well Tony Stewart doesn't get mad but he can sure throw fits
    sorry all you #20 fans
  • I'll go ahead and say Kevin Harvick.
  • dale jr.
  • let me give u a hint he drives a dog food car
  • Dale Jr all the time over the radio. He just wants his crew to fix his car which isn't bad.

Kasey Kahne fans whine the most everywhere else, though.
  • car 29, kevin
  • NASCAR!
  • your driver
it would have to be nobody else is complaining!!!!!
KURT BUSCH WILL HE WANT OUT OF HIS CAR THIS WEEK
  • Currently,I am not sure...maybe Denny Hamlin.
It seems like it changes from time to time.Jeff Gordon used to be a huge whiner, then Tony Stewart.I dunno.Obviously, you are referring to Kyle Busch, but I don't really see where he has whined all that much this year.he really hasn't had much of a reason to until lately.
  • separated at birth: Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin. The 2 biggest whiny-a s s crybabies ever, who also happen to drive toyotas.
  • Danica Patrick
  • Can't say as I've ever seen any tears from any of them.

Wait...that's not true, Jeff Gordon did have a bit of an emotional reaction to winning the Daytona.
  • ?kyle? Naw, I have to say Hamlin...he's worse.

    *JUJU*patriosm
  • Dale Jr. fans..................?

    May be...

  • Grey Ghost
  • The Citizen Solider car was pretty sweet, BUT the Tallegada car with MY name on it has to be my favorite ;)
  • Yep me too! That was awesome!!

on a side note: John Singleton Mosby was called "The Grey Ghost", during the American Civil war for his ability to lay low and then strike quickly and effectively. I think a fitting name also for the National Guard car.
  • The Citizen Soldier car.
  • the silver national guard car he drove in the all star race
  • The Grey Ghost that was awesome, and also the Camo one he drove at Daytona, and having my name on the two he crashed in 'dega. But the Grey Ghost has to be #1.

    Go Dale Jr & Hms
  • all of them
  • Actually all his paint scheme's are cool...But I am with a few people here, the Grey Ghost...That is just my opinion of course..
  • Any car that Junior drives I like. I do think the Grey Ghost was pretty cool though. I also liked the one where he had all the names on it I thought that was awesome.
  • His dark red Amp car was so awesome. It's my favorite color and it was so shiny. Also, my husband loves camo, so it was cool to see his camo car, too.
  • I really liked the Citizen/Soldier car. That was awesome and it really showed alot of support for our troops.

    Go Jr.!
  • The camoflauge car
  • The grey Ghost and I also loved his camo car when he was in the 8.

And on a side note LOVE the new name hot prez :)
  • Not a Jr fan but I like his normal National Guard blue car. Everything else is overkill. Decals and imaging software have taken the artistry away.
  • Mountain Dew Classic!!! Awesome
  • In order:

    1. Black, White, & Orange #83 "Dale Jr Division" (Nationwide)
    2. Citizen Soldier / Grey Ghost
    3. Old School Mountain Dew
    4. Red National Guard Car (Nationwide)
    5. AMP Signatures Car
    6. Amp Energy Relaunch
    7. National Guard
    8. Amp Energy
    9. Go Daddy #5 (Nationwide) (Damn that car is UGLY!)

....HOLY CRAP! I forgot the Defending Freedom camoflage car! Put that in there in between #4 & #5.
  • The Citizen/Soldier car.
  • I'm with Lynn.

    Citizen Soldier rocked the house!
  • all of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • all of them but the grey ghost was cool
  • The Citizen Solider car and the retro Mountain Dew car.
  • What was your favorite paint scheme from this year? I love that Grey Ghost.
  • I'm not a huge Jr. fan but liked his retro Mountain Dew paint scheme from Darlington.
  • I'm with you on the Grey Ghost.....but then again, he could drive a tricycle and I would love it.

That man is awesome!! He showed up at my son's high school a couple of weeks ago and he got to sit in his car and everything. He came home with all kinds of stuff. My son said "mama, we didn't know he was coming, they surprised us".....I told him if the school had let the kids know he was coming, 1/2 of our city would have been all over that school to see him!!

Gotta luv the Jr man, gotta luv him!!
  • The one with my name on it at Talladega!!!!!!! Beyond that, I would agree with you, the Grey Ghost was way kool.

    *JUJU*
  • Citizen Soldier, the Grey Ghost & his fan tribute car from Talladega are my favorites, but I really liked all of them.xnxx movie
  • What is 1 good thing you can say about your least fav. driver, and 1 bad thing about your favorite?

    May be...

  • 1 good thing about Carl Edwards : He does great backflips.

1 bad thing about Kyle Busch: he took his horrendous finishes of the chase too hard. Buck up boy you'll get 'em next year!!
  • Tony Stewart is very charitable and I commend him greatly for it.

    Elliott Sadler just sucks. lol
  • one good thing about least fav: His ego doesn't seem as big as it was at DEi

1 bad thing about fav: He needs to calm down and focus to win the chase.
  • 1. 20 - Getting his own team

    2. 99 - A bully to Newman
  • He's handsome (JPM)
He talks in circles about the future of his car owner's future plans for the company and the other teams (Bobby Labonte)
  • 1 good thing about my least favorite driver Pablo Montoya , he is a pretty good driver. 1 bad thing about my favorite driver David Reutimann is he isn't as aggressive with other drivers as he should be.
  • Jeff Gordon- He has a childrens hospital. Dale Jr- win some more races.
  • Kyle Busch is one heck of a driver, Man knows how to drive!

Bad thing about Jr., needs to be a bit more racier, stop letting guys run over him, and speak his mind a little more, not hold it inside. Just watch what you say, don't want to loose those driver points and 10,000.00!!!
  • 1 good thing about Kyle: drives a loose car like no one else!

1 bad thing about Jr: Just quit arguing with Tony Jr and drive.
  • 1 good thing about Dale Jr: He is standing up against NASCAR some finally.

1 bad thing about Tony Stewart: hmmmm sometimes he gets too mad when he loses but that might also be a good thing
  • 1 Good Thing: Boy that Michael Waltrip has some funny commercials.

1 Bad Thing: Bobby Labonte just sucks lately. I'm sticking with him as long as he's driving, though!
  • One good thing about Kyle Busch: The boy knows how to drive.

One bad thing about Junior: Needs to be more aggressive, and needs to stop shouting at his crew chief and just drive.
  • Well #20 & #18 are tied for my least favorite so I will say something nice about each of them.

Kyle Busch the kid can drive anything he is in and he is very, very good at it.
Tony Stewart - I love he is starting his own team, I will always think it had a lot with JD going to Toyota and i respect Tony for it.

Junior - Needs to be a bit more aggressive in his driving and less aggressive with his mouth....LOL! Hey, I love the guy but everyone has faults.

Now before I get jumped on for saying Junior needs to be more aggressive I DO NOT want him to be like his dad and wreck everything he comes in contact with;) I loved Sr. but I am not looking for anyone to take his place. I love Junior for completely different reasons & I just want him to have some fire in his belly and to drive with that fire.
  • Least favorite: Kyle Busch. I do admit the kid can drive and he has matured a little this season.

Favorite: Dale Jr. I agree with Steffy, he needs to be a little more aggressive and have better communication with Eury Jr. But other than that, Jr is AWESOME!
  • Least Fav: Shrub IS a good driver.
Fav: Jr. should listen to his crew chief more.

That is the best I can do. Thanks for unblocking me. I still don't know why.

    *JUJU*
  • Clint Bowyer (least favorite)---nice car

Robby Gordon (favorite)--learn to get into your pitt stall better.
  • Kyle is maturing some this year and one of the best wheelmen in NASCAR. Jimmie can be a little too PC at times.
    3 STR8 N 08!!!
  • Tony Stewart speaks his mind. I do like that about him. I wish Kenseth was more aggressive at times.amplifier car diagram
  • Mini stock set up question....?

    May be...

  • I have a 93 cavalier that I race on a 1/5th mile asphalt track with concrete corners. I am currently running stock size tires ( 185/75 14) with the maximum camber on the rt front tire. I am considering cutting back on the camber to go to a wider tire all the way around. The car has to run something similar to street tires, but I am thinking maybe going to like a 65 series would help alot in the corners. That's the max width aloud. Would you keep the 75s and the camber or cut it back and go with the 65s all around?
  • You definitely want the widest tire that the rules allow, As far as 65 or 75, that is not the width, that is the height (or profile) of the sidewall. On a 185/75 14 tire. 185 is the width of the tire in mm (185 mm wide). The 75 means that the sidewall is 75% of the width. A shorter sidewall (such as a 65) means that the sidewall is shorter, stiffer, and the tire won't roll over as easy. A shorter sidewall also means the overall diameter is smaller. The goal is to get the tallest, widest tire that you can stuff under the car within the rules. Also, with stock street tire, a tread depth of about 4/32 or less is ideal. Tread depth guages are cheap and available in almost any parts store. Take some time, surf the net, and learn everything you can about tires. It will help you a bunch.http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/t...plam desktop
  • BUD SHOOTOUT QEURY....?

    May be...

  • The Bud Shootout is having a new format in 2009. The top six cars from Chevy, Dodge, Toyota and Ford will be the drivers in. It's too bad for the former winners and pole winners from this year, though. Here are the current drivers in: http://www.jayski.com/stats/2009/bud2009...
  • first response is correct. It's a shame though, I wish it were just about having a race with the bud pole winners. Hope it works out. I used to watch a lot of nascar up to 3-4 years ago, but too much has changed.

I'm sick of NASCAR not being stiff enough with the penalties. If caught cheating a driver should get zero points and no money. There should be a life time max on how many times you get caught cheating and then banned from NASCAR. Number of cars making the chase is too high too.
  • >>>>qeury means question lol<<<<
wats goin on for the shootout next year

    will jr be in it?
    will kyle be in it?
    who will be
  • Top six teams in the owner points from each manufacture will be in the Bud Shoutout. Which means that Dale Jr and Kyle Busch will be in it respectively. You can see more at Jayski.com
  • Query means question. Qeury is not a word.

And, they will both be in it. The top 6 drivers from each manufacturer makes it in. There are 6 Chevys in the Chase, so they will all make it in. (and fewer of the other makes in the Chase, meaning the top-12 drivers are all a lock).
  • actually its QUERY lol yes inndeed both jr and kyle will be therebombardier forums

Why do a couple of formula 1 cars have a bar code on the rear wing?

    May be...

  • The only 2 cars that have this now are the Ferraris. This is in place of the Marlboro advertisement. As cigarette sponsorship is banned in many countries, Marlboro (a main sponsor of Ferrari) has to take out their advertisement.

So instead of a blank spot or letting a someone else use the spot, they used a barcode. Not sure but believe if you scan the barcode, it would probably read Marlboro.
  • Tobacco advertising is banned in F1 so teams have crafty ways to get round it by manipulating names and images
  • Those cars you are refering to are the Ferrari cars. They are sponsored by Marlboro. Problem is Marlboro is a cigarette company & cigarette advertising is heavily restricted. So wherever it is banned they replace their logos with bar codes.
    That's what you're seeing.reebok-umpire-plate-shoes
  • Budweiser Shootout question?

    May be...

  • It works strictly on owner's points from my understanding. If that is the case(unless they have some kind of asterisk we haven't seen yet),then KaseyKahne and Elliott should still be able to race as they are both within the top 6 inDodge teams right now.Although,I think it would be a little unfair because then you would have 8 Toyotas,4 Dodges, and 6 each for Chevy and Ford.As far as the owner's point thing goes, there are a lot of drivers that will be left out.Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman won't be in it because they are changing to teams that are not within that range of owner's points,Clint Bowyer will be with a new team and will not be in the shootout,Casey Mears will be,and Joey Logano and David Stremme will also benefit from Tony and Ryan starting a new team.Right now,the top 6 teams would be:
    Chevy:
    1.Jimmie Johnson
    2.Jeff Burton
3.Clint Bowyer(Casey Mears will actually be the one in the shootout, not Bowyer because of the car change)
    4.Kevin Harvick
    5.Jeff Gordon
    6.Dale Earnhardt,Jr.
    Ford:
    1.Greg Biffle
    2.Carl Edwards
    3.Matt Kenseth
    4.David Ragan
    5.Jamie McMurray
    6.Travis Kvapil
    Toyota:
    1.Tony Stewart(will not race;Logano will)
    2.Denny Hamlin
    3.Kyle Busch
    4.Brian Vickers
    5.David Reutimann
    6.Michael Waltrip
    Dodge:
    1.Kasey Kahne
    2.Ryan Newman(will not race,Stremme will)
    3.Kurt Busch
    4.Bobby Labonte
    5.Elliott sadler
    6.Juan-Pablo Montoya
  • There may not be any manufacturers soon'
  • Good question I assume it would not affect it but I have not read or heard anything that would jeoperdize another team due to a manufacture change
  • It does not change and next year it will be the Coors shootout.

Have a good one Mr Pres.

My bad, I thought I heard that Coors was taking it over starting next year.
  • If a team switches manufacturer in the off season which GEM was thinking about doing, what does that do to your eligibility?
  • I think it will eliminate them. As the rules are the top 6 of a manufacturer.transfer cell phone numbers to computer
  • Ahhhh!!!! Help me with my Fantasy picks....?

    May be...

  • It's getting down to the wire here and I need help. I am 130 point out of 1st place and the 1st place guy has pretty much used all the top drivers. The 3rd place guy is also pretty much out of the top rank drivers as well.

So I need some advice on the last 4 races and who to play when.

Here is my big boys left to play and how many times I have left to play them. The ones I haven't named are because I still have them wide open so any advise it greatly appreciated.

    Jimmie (2)
    Carl (3)
    Kyle Busch (2)
    Junior (1)
    Biffle (1)
    Martin (2)
    Vickers (2)

Who would you suggest I play at which of the last 4 races? I know a huge question but who would you use?

    The tracks left are:
    Atlanta
    Texas
    Phoenix
    Homestead

Please don't just tell me who you like but give me some facts on who and why to play them at these last tracks. I have been doing a fine job so far but now I am stuck. Help.

Thank you so much for your time.

  • Atlanta- Jimmie or Kyle
Reason: because they both are good their, Kyle won earlier this year, and Jimmie won last year

    Texas- Jimmie or Carl
Reason: Same as above, you can also use Matt Kenseth as he as a good avg finish. Same with Burton hes a big time darkhorse their.

    Phoenix- Jimmie or Martin
Reason: Jimmie won past 2 races their, and Martin has a awsome avg finish of 9.2. And has led the most total laps there (676)

    Homestead- Biffle
Reason: Hes diffinatly one of the best at this track, Roush Racing owns Homestead. http://www.racing-reference.info/tracks?...
  • Jimmie Johnson:
-Atlanta(best average finish of all drivers since 2003(7.4) and has won there 3 times with 2 of those 3 being in the Fall race)
-Phoenix(also best avg. finish of all drivers since 2003(5.0),has won Phoenix twice:the Chase race last year and the Phoenix race earlier this year)

    Carl Edwards:
-Atlanta(he runs well there and won both races in 2005)
-Texas(also runs well there and won the Texas Chase race in 2005)
-Homestead(best avg. finish among all drivers since 2003-7.8)

    Kyle Busch:
Atlanta(won there earlier this year/participated in a tire test there last month)
Texas(runs decent there and is similar to Atlanta)

    Dale,Jr.:
Atlanta or Texas(avg. finishes of 10.8 and 11.4,respectively and has 1 win at each track)

    Greg Biffle:
Definitely Homestead-Miami(Greg won Homestead 3 years in a row(2004-2006) with Roush-Fenway teammate Kenseth winning last year's)

    Mark Martin:
Texas/Phoenix(If he is racing the rest of the season and you can choose from any of the four,I would pick those two because those are his two best tracks remaining.

    Vickers:
Phoenix(not much to choose from here, but this is the only track he has a decent avg. finish at-16.5)

    Some dark horses:
    Atlanta(Bobby Labonte,Juan-Pablo Montoya)
    Texas(Kurt Busch,Jamie McMurray,Casey Mears)
    Phoenix(Kurt Busch,Martin Truex,Jr.,Bobby Labonte)
    Homestead(David Ragan,Jamie McMurray,Dave Blaney)

You didn't list Tony Stewart, but if you can use him,he is good at all of the remaining tracks. Here are his best in order:
1.Atlanta(8.1,2nd best avg of all drivers)
    2.Phoenix(11.0,4th best of all)
    3.Texas(14.0-12th of all)
    4.Homestead(14.2-9th of all)
  • were u play at??? Jr. at atlanta carl at p.i.r
  • I'd spend both of those #99 picks @ Atlanta &Texas
    Junior and Hamlin @ Phoenix
    Biffle @Homestead
    Carl's won Texas
Biffle shows out on flat tracks
  • Atlanta: Edwards is the favorite there. Johnson will run good and Kyle Busch should do good. He runs well everywhere as long as there's no mechanical failure. Stewart, Ragan, Jr, Burton. Biffle is hot and cold. Not sure what he's gonna do each week

Texas: Edwards, Johnson, Burton, Jr, Kenseth

Phoenix: Jr, Jr, Jr....lol. Johnson, Gordon, Bowyer

Homestead: Biffle, Kenseth, Martin. Johnson does not run here well at all. Hope this helps
  • Atlanta-Johnson and Biffle. Both have run well in the past and are known to run extremely well on the 1.5 mile tracks

Texas-Junior and Edwards. Both have won there in the past and ran well early this year too

Phoenix-Johnson and Martin. Johnson has won the last two races there and Martin has done really well on the flat tracks this year including a 5th place run in the spring

Homestead-Biffle and Edwards. Roush Racing has dominated this track and in particular Biffle who won 3 straight from 04-06.
  • I am going to stick to the one race coming up and say that I am going to use Carl Edwards. I only have one use of JJ and I am going to hold on to him for qualifying points for now.

My answer: Karma Carl for Atlanta

Check back with me next week for another..................
  • The name Vickers is very intriguing. I think he would make a great pick. Good luck my friend. Change is coming.911 prank calls
  • Why do people resent NASCAR Nation?

    May be...

  • I don't resent it at all, in fact I love it. Maybe people don't like it because they don't understand it.
  • NASCAR is boring I just wanted to drop in a comparison and see how you guys would respond, for the most part the answers have passed the fail test... at least some of you are sensible and unbiased.
It came up because I tracked the user u must be refering to as 2006 FIFA asked a question here if nascar will ever reach the level of F1 and I saw some pretty funny responses, so I had my go at it too.

I don't see why some of you are answering "its jealousy", I dont see what's here to be jealous of. Its not like its an exclusive club here its Y!A which is open to everybody over 13. I must say I do admire this unity thing you got going on here, everybody getting a couple thumbs ups and I might be the first to get a couple down(or none at all). LOL at the ones saying we're trying to chase you out of your own section... thats just ridiculous.. the whole autos section is way slower than one of the football(soccer 2 u) sections.
But I'm a part-time motorhead and like I said there's no jealousy here, just Personal Opinion.

EDIT: See the problem I noticed with most answers in here is that everybody seems to be an expert in the situation, and it is perfectly exemplified by the "know it all" and a few other answers below. You are so confident that you 'know it all' that you go on ranting things you truly don't know and you are the one who is really showing the ignorance. These are the egotistic people that make a bad name for the rest of Americans among the rest of the world(not just Europeans). This is what gives us a nice little urge to poke fun at the american traditions especially the sports because your responses are so predictable. Just like your sports, there isn't much rational thought put into your answers, everything is "America is #1".
  • I think a lot of it comes from that people hate the whole "guys driving in circles" and only left turns. Most also think it's a "redneck" sport and there are a lot of "Bubba" fans and the deep South. Most also don't understand it. Some believe it isn't a sport and the drivers aren't athletes, but they are, Mark Martin wrote a book on fitness for drivers, he also runs and lifts weights, a little known fact about Dale Sr. is his strength which came from working on his farm. The sport has also has taken a downturn in my opinion...they promote themselves well but the quality of racing is bad which brings more problems. The 1979 Daytona 500 brought more people to watch NASCAR because of "the Fight" at the end. Earnhardt then came along with his aggressive style and brought fans in. Now NASCAR frowns on aggression, and ingenuity and that's kind of sad. Most NASCAR haters don't understand the sport or see it as it has become and sometimes I believe them.
  • Be.... cuzz... we.... Live Here !!!! [shouting]
  • I read somewhere in one of their answers on the soccer section the other night that they didn't like how we had formed our own Nation and I think they are jealous that we all stand up for one another in times like this I think that drives them crazy and they like to get us going boy aren't they big people?

    that's okay Nunya
  • NASCAR as a sport and us as the fans of said sport cause a raucus no matter what happens.

Only left turns, they just drive in circles, no ability. It will never end. The attacks arent just against us, its against all of the sport in general.

As for why do they do it, because they dont have a life and think its cool to raise peoples tempers. They get joy out of it. People are just childish.

We bother people probably because they dont understand our fixation with the sport. As I said they have no real reason for it they just want to bother people.
  • europeans have always been envious of the american way of life. it eats them up inside that we thumb our noses up at things like soccer, F1, and the metric system. the only thing that surprises me is that they attacked the NASCAR section instead of 'american' football as they call it. europeans HATE football for 2 reasons. one, because we CALL it football, and we call their version of football soccer (they can't stand that) and secondly, because we love football so much. it irritates them that we don't 'get in line' and follow soccer like the rest of the world does. i guess they chose NASCAR instead of football because of the sterotype that NASCAR fans were southern hicks who didn't know what shoes were. maybe they thought we were gonna be an easy target. they found out different though didn't they?
  • People just always want someone to pick on. They funny thing is we are the strongest nation in the world. Us nascar fans. Man British soccer had nothing for us. We took them with one swipe. I just think people do it to test or 'some other reason' but as we have done for 50+ years we hold strong.

ROFL people form religion and spirituality are so mean. Hard to believe.

Gosh I love Nascar, not just for the cars; but for all fans and their strong wills and hearts of gold.
  • The answer is simple. Just like racism or religious hatred it comes from ignorance.

Ignorance is the glue that binds all those fools together.
  • I guess you could blame it on them being in a different culture over across the pond. I don't particularly like alot of what sports they have over there but Im not one to go there and start trouble. My dad use to say "if you don't start s*** there wont be none". Power to my pops!

Add: Like dalejr4ever said, its jealousy at its finest.

    Have a good night mate!

    Amen Tom! Thats the truth!
  • They are jealous of how close we are here.
  • Well trolls need to pick on some sections to fill up their schedule. Unfortunately, YA's NASCAR section is being targeted currently. But don't worry, they'll be gone in a while when they get tired of doing it.
  • i love Nascar and i think other sections get bored with what they are talking about so they come bother us cause we are always here and we never get bored with our Nascar. And we get under their skin cause we love Nascar and they can't change us.
so every one give a shout out to Nascar Nation
  • NASCAR is my Sport and I will stick up for it.

I could care less if all the category attacked Us, i'd back up NASCAR Nation 100%

    NASCAR = In my Blood
  • People resent you guys I'm new here so I don't know but I think Nascar is the greatest and I wouldn't know why anyone wouldn't want to be a Nascar fan
  • They're masochists and like a good beat down every now and then. Seriously though, the R&S folks are the trolls over there who get a kick out of driving the Christians nuts, I guess they got bored with it. My guess with the soccer chaps is they got bored and picked a category at random. Either that or they figured they'd get a bunch of dumb rednecks and not things like a foul-mouthed smart-as* from New Jersey.
Oh crap did I just admit I'm a foul mouthed smart as*?
  • they resent our camaraderie.
NASCAR nation are the true Red White & Blue
    We Rock
    We're proud
NASCAR Nation Rules the waves baby!
  • Thats a good question. I mean, I think cricket is a silly game, but I don't google names of top players and then go over there to ask stupid, obnoxious questions about them.

Who knows? Maybe because we NASCAR fans are passionate about our sport in a way they aren't. Maybe its the NASCAR stereotype of hick redneck that makes people think we're either stupid or prejudice, or both. And maybe because NASCAR is so uniquely American in its roots and fan base.

I think this is a valid question and there is no reason for deletion!

    Go Rays!

Rackpurdue: Thats thumbs down was my stupid finger on my stupid mouse and it was supposed to be a thumbs up and I missed. Sorry!
  • Maybe they are just jealous, we have a lot of great real Nascar fans on here, and they want to chase us away.. Sorry, not gonna happen. Nascar fans will be here forever.. I like soccer but I will not go on their forum. I go on the baseball and football forums occasionally.. I just think the trolls just like stiring up crap and firing us up.

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

    Go Rays!!
  • Yeah I was wondering why there is a section for something from 2006. I guess I should watch more soccer...I mean futbol or football lol.

I was not around when Religion and Spirituality invaded the NASCAR section, that's freaky.

I have no idea what we do to bother other people, but maybe it's cool that they recognize how awesome this section is and feel the need to try to make it less awesome by posting stupid stuff. As usual the members of this section win out and they go back to their holes in defeat.

I think it's cool that those Europeans recognize NASCAR, and maybe after their little invasion they'll investigate it some and watch some videos about it...who knows, they could become fans. I guess now they know more about NASCAR than I do about the FIFA World Cup.
  • well it's been hard for NASCAR Nation.
But I'm trying to put a stop to it actually
look in my profile it'll give ya allll the proof you need :)
  • Because they think it is cars going in circles and don't realize it is so much more than just that.

But it's the same with every sport. It is much more than it seems. Basketball is much more than men shooting balls. Football is more than men attacking each other for a pigskin. Baseball...sorry can't stand up for baseball. it sucks.
  • Because as Fluffy would say
    "everyone has hurt feelings"

Their feelings are hurt that we didn't send them an invitation to join our party, therefore like the children they are felt it necessary to throw a temper tantrum and crash it!

    Poor things.
  • People just like to attack and bash things that they don't understand. They don't like NASCAR, and don't understand how we could, and so therefore they feel the need to attack us. We ALL do it from time to time. Whether it be someone else's favorite driver that we dislike, favorite team, a rule, etc. I know that I'm guilty of it from time to time....

Besides, I thought trolls hated EVERYTHING....
  • This isn't at all surprising to me. I have no problem at all with people who don't watch NASCAR. Heck, I can understand why some wouldn't like it. However, it's not enough for most people to not like it themselves, they have to throw insults at NASCAR fans as well. You rarely see this happen to fans of any other sport. I guess it's the Southern roots of NASCAR. Anything Southern is mocked and attacked by people.
  • because they cant be a part of it
  • idk their just jeaouls
  • In my relatively short time here on Y/A NASCAR, I've observed attacks from other Y/A sections. Once from Religion & Spirituality (was amazed at that) and more recently from across the pond. 2006 FIFA, I think? Are they still arguing about 2006? lol
Anywho, I'm just wondering. Exactly how and/or why do we NASCAR fans bother people?
And yeah, I know this question will be reported and removed. So what else is new? : )
  • My theory is because we have formed our own "Nation" and everyone on here is a proud member. We don't bash one another or if we aren't a fan of someone else's driver, it doesn't keep us from being friends. You won't find better sports fans than Nascar fans. They come on here and say all sorts of things but cannot change us. Now all of a sudden we are being targeted. Violations and deletions are all over the place. I am a proud member of Nascar Nation and a Loud & proud card carrying member of Junior Nation. Agreed....Jealousy at it's finest.

Did u like seein jr get aggressive last week?

    May be...

  • Looked like he rolled over there at the end and watched Johnson take another checkered. Didn't even put up a fight there at the end.

But yeah, he did turn McMurray. Thank goodness it was Jr. who did it otherwise there'd be a thousands questions calling ____ ______ a rough driver if they had done it.
  • That was probably Dale Jr's best performance of the year, so yes, it was cool seeing him work that hard for a great finish. That's what short track racing is all about!
  • I love it when Dale gets aggressive and shows what he really can do, if he wasnt so afraid to get aggressive all the time.

and if he'd stop running the high line all the time. lol :)
  • Yes I did. I wish he could do more of that. Instead of yelling at his crew chief if needs to get aggressive and just go for it.
  • he didn't do anything i haven't seen him do a hundred times before. that's the nature of short track racing, if a slower driver insists on trying to block you, you have to move them. not spin them out, i don't like to see anyone doing that, but i was at the race sunday and i saw junior use the bump and run on at least a dozen drivers, and he's certainly not the only one who does it. it's just the way you have to race at bristol and martinsville.

stop hating winter glory, it doesn't become you.
  • yes it was way cool, i kinda want him to be more that way every race
  • He sure did tear back to the front huh? I do like to see him more aggressive I hope he keeps it up. Even talking smack about the NASCAR officiating after the race was pretty good too. I don't want him to turn into a jerk but he is known for being passive so a little aggression is good. I love seeing him all fired up.

    >>I don't think he rolled over and watched Johnson take the checkers. Johnson was better on restarts and short runs Junior was better on a long run. If it stayed green and that phantom caution didn't come out Jimmie would have had a fight on his hands. My own opinion of course.

    >>Oh OK Bestanswer yea, Jimmie did get a better run I will agree with you on that ;)

    >>>>I never said I was happy about Junior spinning out Jamie Mac, I said i am glad he was more aggressive he fought back and yes, I did like that. I also said I don't want him to turn into a jerk but a little fire is a good thing.

    >>>It's cool, I like you Winter and I do enjoy your honesty i just wanted to set the record straight on my thoughts. Cheers!
  • Hell yeah I loved it
  • seein him hit drivers after he got the penalty and gainin so much maybe its just martinsville but u never see him gettin to aggresive
and turnin mccmuray like that u can tell he was fighting
  • I'm a little confused here, clarify for me people.

I spend all season listening (err..reading) that one of the things you love most about Jr. is the fact that he's a "clean" driver. He has too much class to spin anyone agressively. That you don't want him to be like his daddy because he is his own man.

Now you're all saying that you enjoyed him spinning Jamie McMurray and being aggressive. And enjoying the fact that he was like his daddy.

    Which is it?
  • its about time he shows some of his father in him!
  • You know what I've noticed... something really huge..

Reminisce basically all of Jr's races. He always DOMINATES at the beginning and mid-to-end he falls out or wrecks out. This time and surprisingly this time he had no significance in the beginning of the race, but worked his way quietly to a 2nd place finish [without leading A LAP].

See that. That tells us... or gives us a pattern-like scenario. BEGIN leading a bunch of laps, dominating = falling off, bad finish, bad luck... Having a bad start = good finish..

    You guys get me?

Sorry I didn't answer your qestion. Here comes the reporting. I beg you not to report me or I'll I'll troll-hunt you like a lion on a hyena [Very weird simile.. sorry]
  • Yes, it was great to see some aggressive driving come out in him without getting to aggresive. I think that penalty fired him up alittle and he drives better when he is fired up, and Tony Jr made a great call on not to pit and he was able to get alot of track positions back. He just didn't have enough for Jimmie there at the end, that was the bad part of it. Hope we see the same Dale Jr at AMS this weekend..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

    Go RAYS!!
  • yeah reminded me of his dad
  • Lol, Jr. fas are funny. They don't like when drivers are aggressive around him but they love when he wrecks others. remember Loudon? McMurray was lynched and it wasn't even his fault. I am of course stero typing Jr. Nation. There are many Jr. fans I like on here. I'm talking about the Jr. trolls.valenteins day card
  • Besides Jimmie Johnson, who wins the race out of the drivers listed below?

    May be...

  • Based on the drivers from your list here is how i will rank them

    Carl Edwards
    Jeff Burton
    Tony Stewart
    Matt Kenseth
    Jeff Gordon
    Kevin Harvick
    Denny Hamlin
    Clint Bowyer
    Kurt Busch
  • Kenseth
  • Jeff Burton for the win!!!
  • Tony Stewart or Kevin Harvick but the way the Chase has been going it could be anybody. Good luck!
  • Jeff Burton, he has a fighting chance until the end.
  • Jeff Burton. I picked him for my 'lunch bet' this week.
  • At Atlanta I would say Carl Edwards, for sure. He loves the high banks and would probably have won the spring race had he not blown his engine. He got his very first cup win there in a classic duel to the checkers with Jimmie Johnson. I think Matt was awfully consistent there in the past but Carl is more coomfortable in the poorer handling COT.
    3 STR8 N 08!!!
  • i would pick carl edwards.
  • I'm hoping Tony. But odds are it will be Jimmie.
  • My husband loves Jeff Burton and I am a Jimmie Johnson fan...so that's our idea of perfection...

I like all of the drivers though..all of them are really nice guys...aren't I easy to please? Happy with whoever wins! lol
  • Since I am from Kansas, I am hoping Clint Bowyer.
  • I will say Carl Edwards since Roush/Fenway is so good at 1.5 mile tracks. You could also make a strong argument for RCR & JGR on 1.5 miler's too. But I will stick with Carl Edwards, Good luck!
  • TONY STEWART.... ALL THE WAY
  • Carl Edwards
  • Jeff Gordon He has to win one this season
  • tony he's my favorite.
  • Atlanta? I'd go with Carl Edwards, Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, or Clint Bowyer
  • I'm rooting for anyone from RCR!
  • Yes, I am still trying to come from 2nd place to win my fantasy league......lol
    Kevin Harvick
    Jeff Burton
    Carl Edwards
    Jeff Gordon
    Tony Stewart
    Denny Hamlin
    Clint Bowyer
    Matt Kenseth
    Kurt Busch

Is NASCAR and soccer like in a war?

    May be...

  • they started it and we will finish it and send the trolls home crying to their mommy's
  • No war. I think they got bored with their "game" and chasing around a little ball all day. They are obviously seeking excitement and knowledge.

They chose to come to the NASCAR section and troll about.
One of them blocked me, and I never even answered any of their questions, go figure?!?!
  • No...they started it...they got a runnin like in that song:

We fired our guns and the British kept a'comin.
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We fired once more and they began to runnin' on
Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.

Yeah, they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles
And they ran through the bushes where a rabbit couldn't go.
They ran so fast that the hounds couldn't catch 'em
Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.**

But we should have some compassion...look what they have there...SOCCER...LOL
  • What do you expect from a bunch of "men" who enjoy watching other men play with their balls.

    buhdumboom.
  • No....it seems like everyone in the soccer section suddenly dropped their social life

It seems like things have quieted down for now.... I think it's merely poking fun back and fourth, at least, according to a few questions i've read.
  • Yep they started it and we are just fighting back it all started last night they think they are cute LOL
  • They decided to come on over and try to pizz people off. Didn't work I think we did pretty darn good. Wa-Hooo NASCAR Nation prevails again! They just set some examples of how soccer fans are, no wonder there is always brawling going on after soccer games, they hate everyone.

  • Ok this ends tonite, enough is enough I have had it. You e-mail 15 times a day saying nasty things to me and I sit there and I take it day after day after day, then make fun of me and call me a baby because as you put it I run to my men on here and get them to stand up for me and fight my battles. Ya know what maybe I did but I am not used to being called names like that or having stuff like that said to me. Did you ever taking into concideration my age, I bet not but I am on the much younger end of the group on here.

You say stuff like, how can you say they are family, they are not family. WHO ARE YOU TO TELL ME THEY ARE NOT FAMILY. A family is someone who stands up for you and sticks besides you cares about you all of which my NASCAR family does. Have you ever taken the time to actually read what is said on here or do you just hit the report button. If you had taken the time to really sit down and read what is said you would see how much these people really care about each other on here. Mr. President- single handedly got everybody together for breast cancer awareness, did ya know that. Maggie is a great cook and a fantastic funny lady did ya know that. Straightedge have you ever read what he has posted OMG, I had no idea he was only 16, smartest kid I know. Superdave heart of gold I bet if you went up to him he would give you the shirt off his back no questions asked and GreenBean I love that man, says it like it is weather you want to hear it or not, he too has a heart of gold, there are so many more on here(to many to name) that are fantastic people too and do you know that, NO and why not cause you just come on here and put people down, send nasty e-mails and causes trouble. That is why you are treated the way you are, not because of who you are like you think, its because of what you do.

You want to be part of this group then show people you can be nice don't judge people because of their drivers. I am the first person to say Reed Sorenson's isn't the best driver out there but like I say all the time he has nowhere to go but up but that still doesn't give you the right to say the things you do. We don't all like each others drivers on here but we do treat each other with RESPECT, maybe if you tried that you would be accepted on here. You say you have changed prove it and start by saying sorry to all you have treated badly.

I am sure this answer will be reported but I don't care, and as for your top 12 as long as Jimmie Johnson is first I am happy.

  • Are the Nascar Fans ready for the Obomba 500!!!!!?

  • You're avatar has boring on the Nascar symbol. Are you serious?

Anyways, he's doing it to get the video game freaks to vote for him.

Lenny, Boring, are you bandwagonners? Go Phillies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I don't think mixing NASCAR and politics is a good idea it doesn't make it as fun.
  • He's got my vote....If I could Vote
  • I guess there really isn't anywhere we can go to get away from pro-Obama messages now.
  • Obomba? Really?arrival lax times
  • How about that sweet little run by Dale Jr. yesterday?

    May be...

  • yeah........wow.........yippee........FI... LOSER
  • Argh...I missed the race...with all the football on in the afternoon...but if Dale Jr won or did well...I am happy. The RAYS on the otherhand are out of this world! I live in Saint Petersburg (where Tampa Bay is located, not Tampa) and this place has erupted with heart and goodwill. What a bunch of cool athletes who play a heck of a ballgame. Go Rays!
  • He did a great job yesterday and I was praying that he'd pass Jimmie at the end (dang caution) LOL but really I was really proud of him yesterday and I am hoping he keeps it up! I really want to see him back in victory lane again this year!
Let the haters hate who cares he did awesome and we know it!!
And just for you go Rays!!

edit: you know it's nice that our friends that aren't jr fans can admit that he did good thanks guys you all are great!
  • That was sweet! No tires blew out, nobody wrecked him, he did an awesome job. I was really hoping he would of won the race. Rackpurdue is right.....I think he had the car to beat Jimmy. He's in the Chase and has a chance to move up and that makes me happy.

Just for Straitedge Kid...I was proud of Truex too. Glad to see him have a decent run for a change.

Congrats to the Rays. I was sooo glad to see them win that game to clinch it. From an Indians fan.
  • Excellent run yesterday! Too bad it's was too little too late. But it paled in comparision to the win by the TB Rays!!...I wonder, if Tampa won the World Series, the Super Bowl and the Stanley cup all in the same year would all of these sporting events take a year off like the NHL did when the Lightning won the Stanley Cup?

If you can't tell I'm from the Tampa area.....lol!!

    Go Rays....Go Bucs....Go Lightning!!!!!!
  • OMG Lenny!!! What are you trying to do to me?

Both Jr and the Rays did a good job yesterday..
  • I was really a great race. Junior did a hellva good job yesterday and even though he didn't win Junior definitely was able to challenge Jimmie and that was awesome to see.

Congrats to Jimmie too! He sure is trying to make history.
  • yep it was AWESOME!!!
  • Yep, he had a heck of a run going.

I think he would have caught JJ and won if it were not for that last caution.

    Go TAMPA!!!!!
  • Hey what about Aric Almirola Leading huh? or a Solid Top 10 run for Martin Truex Jr?

  • I loved it. Just wish that there wasnt that last caution. He might have pulled off the win. But they all did great yesterday.

    Congrats on the Rays!!!!!
  • I know the HATERS will still be HATERS but I thought he did a heck of a job yesterday.......................

Today I honor...................The Tampa Bay Rays for knocking off the 132 million dollar Boston Red Sox (Tampa's Payroll: 44 million-2nd lowest in MLB) OK, I'll shut up now!!!
  • Junior really looked good yesterday. I really thought he had something for Jimmie yesterday. It was really good to see him up there !capcom code marvel vs
  • Nascar Nation question #7?

    May be...

  • I'd bring Kyle to activity day at my son's school.
I'd just say "Kids, this is NASCAR driver Kyle Busch" and let him do the rest.
It's a school for special needs kids, kids with Autism, Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, etc.. Kyle being the big kid that he is, would be amazing.
The idea comes from seeing how awesome Kyle is with kids after seeing this video:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4Fx-Luea...

*I'd be blubbering like an idiot, watching those kids having fun*
  • Rack, I've done this several time with Dale Jr and the Make a Wish Foundation, Introducing him is easy, I just speak about what the foundation means to him..Its as if I'm floating, I'm always a person who never writes a speech its easy to introduce him. Especially with some of the parents and children in the audiance..Just seeing him with some of these children I have taken to the race tracks out here on the west coast..He is a softy, I actually had to call him one time and tell him, the child you were suppose to meet, passed away, it tore him up. Yes he has a very very sensitive side people. That one still hurts me. But its been fun to sit up on the pit box with a child and a parent, and yeah all the dang gals cussing at me for being with Dale Jr.. I can not describe his voice when I called him about the boy passing away, I can't even remember what I said, but he did call the parents and he spoke with them.. I don;t care what all you Dale Jr haters, and bashers say, this guy has a heart of gold..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms......

Yeah...The Rays are going to the World Series..T-bone are you happy..
  • Dale Jr. and to the people i work somewhat for (Developmentally Disabled Adults) i would say here is the most popular and eligible Nascar Driver
  • if you are a reporter stay away from him, he will clim the hell out of your fence look out its smoke, aka TONY STEWART
  • Okay I've got one more for tonight.
If you could introduce your favorite driver for an event (or whatever it may be) How would you do it and what would you say to describe him? Be creative and original (winner gets best answer)
  • LOL GOOD QUESTION....

    TONY STEWART

This person has meant the world to me, despite his man boobs that are perkier than mine, this person is funny, as class clown, this person is aggressive, **mumbles ( wish he get aggressive with me in bed ) THIS PERSON HAS MORE GRAY HAIR THAN MY GREAT GREAT GRAND DADDY ( who happens to be older than dirt! ) This person is a two time CHAMPION! • Why are somany people against lewis hamilton?

    May be...

  • In what country do the 'Somany' people live ?
  • i can only say for my self, till the time Kimi is racing, i will be against hamilton, i don't like or dislike him,
and i assume it is the case with most people, they just support other drivers,
and Hamilton doesnt' help much with his antics like hitting stationary Kimi in Canada, giving unnecessary comments
  • Because he is arrogant and a cheat.
  • Its because hes a nasty little person and his real nasty side has yet to show its self. I hate to admit it but he will probably take the title this year but fingers crossed he f%&s up again. If that hapens we will be in for another lifetime of (remember 1966) and we will have to endure all the **** that will come along with it.In a few years time the Lewis loonies among us will probably have a world champion but even them will get sick listening to his rants.I dislike the wee coloured chappie with a passion and its not because im racist,i cant be i have a coloured telly, its his attitude, his total demeanour, and especially his daddy hanging round him all the time.his time will come,go break a leg Lewis!!!!!!! please.
  • to be honest at least here..(f1 section Y!) there are more lewis supporters....and rather less Kimi supporters!!

  • Cocky... and arrogant mainly.

i always say when he wins by not cheating or cutting chicanes i will happily say well done to him.

I am a ferrari and kimi supporter and am hoping Massa wins this year for honesty... he would have won singapore and hungary...

He also jumped in the right car at the right time, massa +kimi proved themselves in a much slower car as did Schumacher

but nxt year... the slate will wipe clean for me and let the new season begin...
  • It's because he's arrogant.
  • I think it has more to do with every other sentence out of his mouth being about how he's the greatest thing to happen to F1 since Ayrton Senna then he goes and pulls stunts like Turn 1 in Fuji.
  • It's because he's upset the status quo, people who were Ferrari or Alonso fans don't like it when their heroes don't win. There are lots of Ferrari and Alonso fans out there.

He does say some dumb things too, but it's about the racing and not the talking in my opinion.

He's certainly made the sport more interesting.
  • Is it cos he`s an englishman and the best?
  • i'm not against him he's actually my favourite driver.

I think it's because of how he races he likes to attack even when he doesn't need to its just his type of racing.

Also i think people don't like him because he's obviously the best driver and everyone hates been beaten.
  • 3utkarsh3 - i'm a kimi supporter !!!!!!!!!!hps games
  • Is Phil Parsons (announcer on speed) the younger brother of benny parsons?

    May be...

  • Yes, Phil is the younger brother of the late Benny Parsons. I still miss Benny. He was a great champion, a great driver, and a great broadcaster. Phil was an ok driver, but never the driver his brother was.
  • Yep...Phil is Benny's brother.
  • Yes, he's the younger brother of the late Benny Parsons. He was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1957.
  • i saw on wikipedia he is but my friend doesnt think so and also was he born in detroit?
  • Yes, they are brothers, and Phil used to drive Winston Cup as well.
  • yes
  • They're brothers.

  • Why is the crowd atmosphere in the chinese f1 so poor?

    May be...

  • It's because Shanghai Circuit has a higher seating capacity than most other circuits so they closed a few grandstands to make way for adverts.
  • they were watching f1, what do you expect? f1 is the dullest motorsport on earth. motorbikes and rallying, now theyre interesting. but f1??? good god no
  • It's because the grandstands were empty. The average wage in China is so low that most people can't afford to attend the races and there are also no Chinese teams or drivers.

  • thought there was no crowd at firstslipper ipaq case
