It would be better if the judge did appoint a lab, but I also don't think that it is his responsibility. Considering Jeremy Mayfield presented that scientific expert who was just a fraud, his credibility is shot with me. Rather than Nascar trying to bring him down, I see a man who ruined his life and is now trying to ruin Nascar for not letting him have his way. What is really sad about all this is that no one seems to care about the other 42 drivers. I believe it says a lot that they, who actually know the man unlike us, don't believe him.

I think Jeremy Methfield has moved on because today I saw him working at Burger King..

Being a private entity, NASCAR can pretty much pencil in new rules whenever they want.

Because even if the Judge were to do this, they would not be able to find mayfield, because he would be off tweeeeeeeking somewhere!!!!

I do not like it, because we have a really good sport here and for this dope fiend to be doing speed...oh and I, yea, I, put some bubble gum and grape kool-aid and a stick of big red together and...Um,...., um,..., um,...., um,....oh, Tested positive for speed. The whole Mayfield thing needs to be resolved. Why doesn't the judge in the case get a random lab to do the test and not release the lab's name to NASCAR or Mayfield so neither can say the result was tampered with?

It ain't the judges job to determine if Mayfield is taking drugs..
It's the judges job to determine if the tests NASCAR had taken, constitute enough reason for NASCAR to deprive him of his livelihood..

It's odd to me, that Mayfield says that he went to 6 independent labs, which if he did, he could provide proof of, and all six came back negative, but the tests done by NASCAR came back positive. Can any of us provide proof one way or the other? No. But who do we believe? The Plaintiff or the Defendent? 2 positive results or 6 negative? The thing is, NASCAR won't let him admit outside results as "evidence", so Jeremy can't properly defend himself. Or is it that they won't send it to a neutral party.

I say he's innocent until proven beyond reasonable doubt guilty. And my friends, there is some reasonable doubt.
