My interpretation is that rap & hip-hop sucks so badly that they had to get away from it for a while. I tried agreeing with him/her/it, in the hopes that it would go back under it's bridge.
Maybe the passing of the King of Pop has thrown the entire music world into pandemonium. Yes? No? Maybe? : )

Because they aren't a Nascar fan and if they're a top contributor, obviously they're one of those who ask all the silly questions..is Nascar a sport, how do the drivers go to the bathroom, etc.

In "Rap & Hip Hop" - It's not music or anywhere remotely close to it so they pick on Nascar. Brain malfunction.

That they've spent too much time in their 85 Crown Vic with 28 in wheels and a $2000 stereo system in a $900 dollar car and that stupid bass thwomp has rattled their brains(I know it has mine from a block away).

Who cares? If you enjoy racing, watch it and don't worry about whether somebody thinks it's a sport or not. It's like wasting your time worrying whether you'll be able to pick up new batteries for your one true love from the open all night convenience store. Talk about can't get a date!

Some people say NASCAR isn’t a real sport, and yet this is a place where real men strap into 800 horsepower beasts for 4 hours in 110 degree temperatures at 200 miles an hour. Edit: Hey, tom p, let's go to the Rap section and say that it isn't music! Wouldn't that make it even? NO, We don't do that. We just get trashed by them! This is a prime example of why Nascar is an awesome sport. We are forgiving and forgetting.

I would think that as a top contributor in Rap and Hip Hop that they just haven't had the necessary exposure to the best sport in the world, and that they were just speaking out of ignorance. As a Nascar fan and someone who really doesn't listen to that genre of music, I would never take it upon myself to go over there and ask "How is Rap music?" That would be ignorant on my part and just not polite.

Ignorance, plain and simple. And not embarrassed by it, apparently.
