I think it was something to do with him saying that he was moving to avoid the media hanging around him all the time, when everybody knew it was just to avoid paying tax. He's being slated for being disingenuous, not for living in Switzerland.

A lot of people just don't like him and pick apart everything he does. It annoys me that it's never mentioned about Jenson Button and many other drivers living in Monaco but Hamilton gets constantly slated. Michael Schumacher also lives in Switzerland and probably maybe a couple of other drivers.

He said he was moving to Switzerland because he could no longer live in the Uk due to media and fan interest in him ruining his privacy. When asked if was to avoid paying tax he replied "No"
About a week later he came clean and admitted the move was for financial reasons.
Its really just another example of Lewis not being very good at being honest.
As you can see from Rosbif's TD's and the many I'm about to receive, telling the truth about Lewis' actions is never very popular on here!
