Does anyone think Dale jr will ever get back into his grove of wining?

May be...

  • He is not winning but he is 3rd in the chase
  • Oh yes, Definitely! it is going to be at Talledega.
  • I think he will. We've already seen him be more consistent and competitive than he's been in a long while. I think he needs a new crew chief. IMHO, Eury Jr. seems to lack the ability to keep the car handling well as the track changes. That has always been the Achilles heel of that team. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like Eury Jr. isn't really on top of things like other crew chiefs are.
  • dale jr is my favorite driver and he is just not winning do u think he will ever become as good as he was in 2004 because its been 74 races since he has won
  • Jeff Gordon could wipe his *** with Dale Jr.!!!!
  • yes he will it will take time this year he will win the cahse for the cup trophy but thats just me b/c i'm his #1 fan
  • Ya really soon!
  • of course: talledega.. don't worry about junebug he'll come around. Hendricks has the best cars
  • And which grove would that be?
  • True, he hasn't won yet. But, he is third in the points, and has been very consistent. They just need to figure out a way to make his car stay good all the way to the end. The car tends to drop off in the last thirty to fifty laps. I could see how all his fans want him to get a win very badly, but he is doing great this year making the transition to a new team.

I think it's actually been sixty nine races since he last won.
  • He is doing great this year. He is also doing better than the rest of the Hendrick drivers. It is going to happen this week at Talladega.
  • It's been like 70 races actually. Unfortunately, yes he will. All the Junior nuts will have their egos satisfied.
  • His step mother did everything she could to keep him from winning I'm convinced of that. Now that all he has to worry about is winning he will get back in the winning circle.
  • Yes. He will. I think it takes a little time to adjust when ever anybody moves to a new job or location. He won at the beginning of the season. He's driving consistently. Not only is he having to adjust but his crew chief is and also four of his former pit crew members are having to adjust as well. It's a learning curve and transition for more than just Jr. Hendricks pit crew members are having to learn to work with Jr's pit crew. It's a team sport and may take time to perfect. I would think you will see a slight increase in performance from the 88 team by the time the chase starts. He's still doing good. He would probably be leading the points if Casey Mears had not have taken him out of a race (freak accident) earlier this season. When he picks up a win his self esteem will pick up too.
  • I believe he will, give him some time,
  • Spell check, you left out an "H", it's "whining". And to me it's actually his fans who are always "whining", Dale just can't live up to their standards for him.
