I have been to dozens of concerts and races sans earplugs (earplugs? no way) and have the poor hearing to show for it. Ha! Wait till I am 40. WHAT!!!!!!?????????

don't use earplugs....go with a scanner and a headset so you can listen in on the radio chatter!! Plus, the headset will drown out the roar of the engines!!

I don't use ear plugs..the noises and sounds are part of the whole experience!

Im going to the NASCAR race in Louden and i have two sets of earplugs, one 32 NRR and one 26 NRR. Which is better, and will these be okay for the NASCAR race Sunday?

Hell, in Nam we used cigarette butts, at a race earplugs are for little girls.

To all those who say no to earplugs, I say, "What?"

take them along, but try not to use them - there's nothing like hearing the roar and whine of those engines circling in your head while trying to sleep after you get home from the race.

now if they develop some earplugs to block out some of the noise in the nascar section here, those i would use...
