Hypothetical situation, Kurt Busch winning...but it could happen.

They (announcers) would probably screw up the name. I think they would resort to saying 'your brother' and yes it would be tacky. Though the announcers got 'Carpentier' as Car part ier. I use to laugh when ever DW us to say it that way.

I never thought I'd say this I would hope Kurt would win I'd be happy if anyone would win but Kyle Busch.. but they get the Busch bros mixed up all the time ya it would be way funny and Kurt would be pissed!!!!

I like Kyle, but Kurt has the brass ring. The 2K4 cup, so for now he is the older brother, the former champ, and has more wins. Kyle is gaining and will most likely have a cup or two of his own before he hangs up his helmet. I think that given the age difference, Kurt would be less hurt if he was called Kyle, than the other way around. Kurt would probably laugh it off, make a joke, or something.

it might even things up a little. they kept calling kyle "kurt" when he first came in the series... and some announcers still keep confusing them - even while they are watching them on the track (simple mnemonic - the one in the blue car with a big number "2" on it is "kurt," and the one in the lead is "kyle" ;-)

and nothing will top the "tackiness factor" of kyle forgetting his own girlfriend's name at the championship banquet two years ago and instead calling her kurt's wife's name, "eva."

I'm sure some bozo will screw up their names again someday, but in order to deserve an interview, Kurt will have to win a race first and get some attention. Don't see that happening anytime soon but it would be priceless to see a live interview where he got pi$$ed off after being called Kyle a couple of times. I would LMFAO!!!!!!!

'07 all star race, Kyle wrecks Kurt, the commentator goes running up to Kurt with a microphone trying to get his attention for an interview, calls him Kyle 3 times before realizing it was Kurt.
Kurt wins, one of them will for sure screw up his name.
Depending on which commentator, some of the less intellegent ones, I give all of 12 seconds, those with an IQ over 50 maybe a minute, tops!
