Jr Hater Nation......How many races would Jr have to win for you to consider him a "good driver"?

Look i like Jr and yeah he is a good driver ,but to hear alot of his fans talk hes the greatest out there which is far from the case dont get me wrong i like Jr and even hope he does well to get alot of folks off his back ,but you gotta admit a few of the JR fans have caused alot of the JR bashing with the way they act , if you dont belive me go to a race and you will see what im talking about

i thought one every 18 was good...but i guess you need to win 8 races a year and then suck in the chase so you don't get bashed...

honestly, i think he's going to have to win a championship before the haters even get close to stopping...i'm pulling for him just so everybody will leave him alone

He could win the next 32 races Lenny and it wouldn't be enough, there will always be haters as long as Junior drives a race car and is popular.

for me...............he will have to be a contender EVERY week.
right now he is a good driver,but like i said to get to the next level,he needs to contend every week,like rowdy,johnson,edwards.these drivers are top notch............i think that if changes are made within the hendrick organization,perticularly the 88 team.........like new crew chief,he can reach that next level.i would like to see him get there.

might i add............people expect him to be like his daddy,which i think will never happen,and for that i think that this causes alot of disgust with fans of nascar.

that brings me to the waltrips...............one was a hell of a racer and won what,82 races i think.the other has what 4 i believe.

some people have what it takes and others dont.

You can't address the haters, they don't care if he wins all the races..
Talk about percentages, and lap times, and they are lost..
Not too many drivers could do what Jr did, by having his stats hold up,
even after two, or three seasons running in inferior equipment, and the
conflicts, and problems of changing teams..
He met his goals last year (a points race, and The Chase), and even
exceeded them by winning two non-points paying races..
At this point he's only sixty points behind Jimmie, and considering how bad a start they have had, it isn't too bad at all..

damm he had to go take out Hamlin and Busch in daytona, thx jr learn to drive you were a lap down. Just had to get that off my chest.

Until he matches his father in wins and championships, there will be haters.

He is a good driver who is getting better.

Only time will tell.

Kyle is the best there ever was, and they hate Jr is all his fans know..
I'm glad the media has cooled on Jr, but so far this year they have Kyle winning the
Daytona 500 (and they still want to count it as a win)..

For the publicity and fan support he has, you'd think that 2-3 PER SEASON would be a minimum requirement. Throw in a championship, or even being close enough the last race of the season to smell the champ's exhaust and that would help too.
It may sound like I'm a "hater" but I really like the guy! But you have to admit, for his limited success, he's really got a lot of folks taking off the red and donning GREEN. I hope he lives up to what all those fans are hoping for. I know my driver finally did (#48) and it's cool to see them run off with wins like that. I wish the same for Jr. and think that with a good (Hendrick engine) "TEAM" around him, he'll do even better this year.halo 2 level 44 icon
