Is Carl Edwards the driver to beat this year?

May be...

I've kind of thought he was the driver to beat (so far) for quite a few weeks now. But, then everybody started talking about Shrub, and I couldn't understand why really. He was doing well, I'll give you that, but Carl has been dominate at the long tracks.

Roush owns Texas. They are always good there and showed it today.

Thus far this season, I think its a close race between him and Kyle Busch. Besides Martinsville Kyle has been up in the top 10 every race.

it looks that way. he has really figured out the car on the longer tracks. that whole oil lid deal really hurt him and was blown out of proportion. at this point he definatley the driver to beat. its early but so far he is the only repeat winner.

Nope. The drivers to beat is the Hendrick boys and RCR. I'll throw in Shrub too, They have had much better runs.

Right Now he is the Driver to beat!!!!!

he's already got 3 wins this year (California, Las Vegas and today at Texas) and should have 4 but his engine blew at Atlanta. He and his team seem to have really figured out the C.O.T on the mile and a half tracks.

yeah they have seem to figured out the COT car. He is doing great so far. Lets just see if it will last. Season is still young.
