Is Bernie secretly trying to get Mosley kicked out?

May be...

  • Secretly?

Max is the major person blocking "the commercial rights holder" from taking over full control of the sport - including making the rules - from the FIA...Bernie would love to see the back of him. No Max, no united front... which would mean more power (and commercial potential) for Bernie...

    Have a look: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/22052008/5...
  • No, he is publicly trying to kick Mosley out, not secretly.
  • Somebody needs to kick both of them out!
  • According to Mosley, Bernie wants to oust him to take control of the sport.
According to Ecclestone, Max is trying to hold onto his position and making this stuff up.
You can choose to believe what you like.
Max's replacement would be appointed by the FIA, not Ecclestone so I see no reason why Max is the eternal truth.
He's been criticized a lot by his detractors but he appears to have had a fruitful term on many fronts.
    He's not irreplaceable though.
It's just that his replacement needs to be competent enough to fill his shoes and wary of any sex scandals...
I don't see how Bernie can take control of the sport and kick the FIA out unless he has control over his replacement.
