Why do people say Matty's time is up?

Nope Matt's time is not up, he had a pretty good race yesterday..he's on his way back, I'm sure he will win a race before the yr is over..

I've heard nobody say that. His position in the points is because of rotten luck far more so than poor performance. He would be solidly in the top 5 or top 10 if he had a normal amount of luck so far. And he has a new crew chief. This year is shaping up just like 05 when he got solid in the summer, made the chase and finished high in the points.

Matty will come on strong to make the chase. His time is now.

This year he hasn't shown that same consistency and drive that he's known for. I doubt he'll make the Sprint for the cup this year, but anythings possible.

Matty Kenseth jumped four spots in the Sprint Cup points standings after finishing 7th in Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway near Charlotte. Kenseth currently sits 16th in points, just 190 points out of 12th place and a berth in the Chase.

He just hasn't been able to work the car like he used to...not being mean i have nothing against Kenseth.

I don't know why people are saying that but you can't count Matt out of anything until it is Completely over so I ain't counting him out until the last race before the chase if he ain't in the top 12 BUT I think he is going to get in the top 12 Real soon!! Matt is an AWESOME Driver! One of the best out there so he has the ability to get in the top 12! I don't think he is out of it yet!

I guess it's because most people are Junior fans, who can't get behind a winner. Oh, and to normal fans his name is Matt, and not Matty. Matty is a nickname used by his closest friends and family for him.
