Just realize he won it by saving fuel and not by outdriving the other 42 drivers all race long. That should help some. He did not have the best car, but saved fuel. Not to mention the Vickers scandal...

I posted some not so good things about JR last week in Yahoo's "If I Could". Jr an crew-chief Tony Jr made some guttsie calls yesterday. If that last flag didnt come out.. how far could dale made it before he ran out of gas??? Thats racing stratigy. Last yr at the pocono race Gorden an Mears did the same thing. Gorden won an Mears was like 3 or so. They called the race do to rain... Lucky basterds
