Is NASCAR still cheating for Jr, or what?

May be...

  • I don't think they are blatantly cheating for him but there are some strange things going on.

The cone today was not really an offense because of being wrecked. The Kyle Busch air hose and air hose penalty itself is a discretionary penalty anyway and a will call by NASCAR.

The two races that I question are the Michigan race and the Coca Cola 600. Michigan of course he passed the pace car which is a big no no and in the 600 he went down pit road by safety equipment 3 times at 100mph plus.

Those last two were definitely offenses but NASCAR seemed to turn a blind eye to it.

If the 18 passes the pace car, or anyone passes the pace car with JR in 2nd at Michigan, the entire world would erupt through the roof and cry penalty!
  • tom cruise is my friend has a good point.
  • you are just digging for dirt on Jr..this is really an unhealthy obsession you have with Jr, you really should get over it.
  • No. Jeff Gordon is the cheater!!!
  • Ha! Tom Cruise Is My Friend ! I saw that, was amazed after umpteen commercials, nary a word was said by the expert commentators ! Duh.
  • He wouldn't have hit the cone if Jamie McMurrays spotter was paying attention and told him that Jr was pitting. So no NASCAR didn't "cheat for Jr".
  • Kyle ran over an air hose on national TV one of NASCARS biggest pit cardinal sins but since he "rolled over it" they let it pass. who is the favorite. I don't have a horse in this race but any driver out there gets some call or another that helps or hurts and it's always a CONSPIRACY.
  • i wanna see 'em cheat for montoya
  • i think mcmurray should have had to take at least half that penalty - he took half of junior's car. that seems only fair...
    ;-)
  • Well, If you got smacked from behind at 100 mph would you be all so worried about the cone that you run over BACKWARDS??????

NASCAR did not give him a penalty because it was not his fault. Plain and simple.

Busch did back over his air hose, but no penalty there. So you are saying that they should have parked Kyle???

Let us know who your favorite driver is so we can have NASCAR park everyone but him next week.

    They should have parked Montoya......

I guess he is the next golden child.
  • During Jr.'s last attempt to pit, he ran over the cone that marks the start of the speed limit on pit road. This is against the rules, and OH...guess what...no penality!!

You know if Kyle Busch ran over that cone, NASCAR would have parked him for the day, and docked him 100 points.Goes to show they still play favorates.
  • I did not notice. I doubt they would have been that severe with the 5 car. I must admit there have been a few instances when it appeared JR might have gotten a break or two.
Don`t be to hard on NASCAR though. He is their top draw. Butts in the seats and merchandise.Ever notice how he wins ever poll when those who vote for him know good and well he just an average driver.
  • sort of like how kyle busch got penalized for running over an air hose oh wait? you're an idiot.
  • Wut are you talking about, Kyle would have gotten the same treatment. Nascar is doing everything and anything for kyle to win to keep toyota happy.
  • You must be huffin glue again.
  • obviously ya don't care for jr. I think it's kinda weird how things happen to Kyle Busch's qualifying lap and nascar finds something wrong with the track and he's allowed to re do his lap. WHAT?? He's the only one in the last two weeks that has been allowed to that. And he runs over his air hose and Nascar says no penalty. HUH??? Also, if nascar was playing favorites with Jr, wouldn't he be leading the points and have more than 1 win this year. Just stop complaining. That's all ya ever hear is nascar plays favorites with Jr. Give me a break.
  • What they said ^^^^^
  • your a dumb azz he got wrecked its not like he can pause the wreck climb out the car and move the cone and got back in an un paused an wrecked get over it man at MIS when #55 ran over the exit cone on pit road they didnt stop him or anything
  • Give the guy a break...He,s only got one win out of 75 or76...Maybe they didn,t want to see it!!!!Nascar never cheats!!!!!HA>>>HA>>>HA>>>
  • Oh my gosh. This one takes the cake.....You are right. They should have parked him. Damn him, he should have had better control of his car when he was smashed in the rear by another driver doing 120. While they are at it, maybe they should fine Tony Eury Jr. since he didn't run out and put the cone upright again but made a NASCAR official do it.
  • You know we could take your question seriously if it wasn't for the fact that in the same race shrubby ran over his air hose and didn't get penalized maybe you should try actually watching the whole race from now on instead of just trying to highlight the things you think Jr did wrong... And oh by the way hitting the cone doesn't actually bring a penalty if you are basically forced into it which wouldn't have happened if Mcmurray haad been paying attention and saw Jr going to the pits. Moron
  • jr ran over the cone after he was rearended and out of control and it was the commitment cone not the time lime
  • Tom cruse is my friend (but not mine) is right
  • Well, I guess if you got rear ended by another driver and out of control, you may just run over one also.....

it was not his fault, so let it go.

and, if Nascar was just for JR, he would be point leader, and he would never even have to finish the race, ha ha

next time, watch the entire race before beating a dead horse some more.......its over...move on.......

smoke, kyle, Gordon, and lots of other drivers do things and get passes on them, don't pick on JR......guess you must not like him.......so sad, too bad..
