In NASCAR, who do you think is the most influential team owner?

Hendrick baby!!!

I think whatever Jack Roush wants, Jack gets or else he cries like a baby making him the most influential.

This can be a team owner from cup, Nationwide or Truck.

It can be a team owner who is active now or from the past.

Please tell me why.

I am sure we have had this question before, but I’m asking it for my own curiosity.

That's tough with the likes of Jack Roush, Richard Childress and Joe Gibbs all fielding championship caliber teams. I would have to say Rick Hendrick because he dictates, to a degree, what other teams do more than any other owner does. He sets the standards that other teams would like to equal or surpass. Rick was one of the first owners, along with Joe Gibbs, to take advantage of the testing loophole and it paid off with the 2nd championship in a row for Jimmie Johnson. He was the first owner to really stress the importance of highly trained pit crews and he's never been a follower in the garage. From getting the latest and best equipment available for research and development to the personnel he hires, Rick is always striving for excellence in a way that pushes and influences all the other teams in the Sprint Cup Series.

Jack Roush

In today's NASCAR it would be a TIE between Rick Hendrick and Jack Roush. They are the biggest and most fiscally stable teams.

In the old days it would have been Junior Johnson.

It was rumored that Richard Petty had the "ear" of Bill France Jr. but does not have the same relationship with Brian.

Rick Hendrick. Rick has a good sense of business he picks winners and gets rid of losers. He has built his company through very tough times with losing his family in that plane crash a few years ago and especially losing his son Ricky. Rick is a fighter and he does not compromise that is why he and his organization is so darn good.

But I really respect her and find she is a great owner.Now I know everyones going to disagree with me which is fine but I think she is trying her hardest to keep the team up and running. She's done it for 7 years. Very good team owner and I respect her alot.

The Most Influential Team Owner in My Opinion in Cup is Rick Hendrick

I think that it is Rick Hendrick because he has the Best Drivers , the Best Team and the Most Elite Organization in NASCAR . He is very influential because he can get anyone on his team.
