It started as a rumor but it's now official. YES he will drive the #5 at Homestead.

Mears will drive his new car for 2009 and Mark Martin will drive his new car for 2009 in the Homestead race this year. It was said during the Atlanta race that Mark Martin is obligated for 2 more races with DEI and after that then he'll drive the last race this year in the HMS #5 car.1271q
