I wish it were on Labor Day, but it will be nice to have the Southern 500 again. I saw my first 2 races at Darlington and it is still the most challenging track in NASCAR in my opinion. There is not another track like it and I still remember that 21 Mercury and David Pearson. I just wish they'd run twice there and come back to Rockingham too. That area helped make NASCAR great and NASCAR took 3 of their 4 races away. If NASCAR ever drops this track, I will boycott them for a long time.

Better late than never. Too bad NASCAR didn't take away the 2nd Cali race too.

yeah, there have been one or three questions already about this today. it's back, but not on labor day. that race looks like it will end up in atlanta next year...
