Has a nascar driver ever been stalked or hårassed by a crazy fan?

May be...

not really stalked by fans, but i did see Jeff Gordon on one of the paparazzi shows (E! used to have a show like this) a few years back. Gordon was at the beach with his wife, and the paparazzi where there taking their pictures.

Drivers are always harassed by fans walking through the garage. They always maintain good composure and it doesn't seem like harassment, but wouldn't a bunch of people shouting, bumping, shoving and asking for your autograph get somewhat annoying after a while??

Yes I am sure a nascar driver has been stalked by a nascar fan. One fan comes into mind that would stalk drivers and other fans. Though it is nothing that the legal system or a little southern justice can't sort out.

If you are a true Nascar fan you will know that they are all totally different than other fans. Nascar fans have respect for each driver and I haven't ever heard of anyone of them being stalked or harassed by any fans. We are definitely a true breed.

Sorry Gopher. I didn't get a chance to answer your question. But I had this one fan once that use to stalk me because I didn't give her a best answer. I think she was a Robby Gordon fan. I hope she doesn't do that to Robby. But anyway that's an interesting question. Report Abuse

Not that I remember or can find in GOOGLE.

I remember last year (or maybe 2 years ago), during a red flag at Watkins Glen, a fan actually walked up to Kenseth's parked car and asked for an autograph. Of course, he was escorted away by officials.

Even I, with my 'clinginess' would never do anything to hurt the drivers I 'love' (note love w/quotes); not even my no 1.
