Can someone explain to me why they like NASCAR?

Wow Just joined yesterday and you already have 103 pts. Did you get them by answering a lot of anythings then throw in a stupid question. Get off the NASCAR page. Nascar isn't for 12 yr olds.

ive recently gotten into nascar and i find its such a strategy game more than people think it is..people who cannot get into it just assume its a bunch of grown men driving in a circle, but its alott more than just that

the precision it takes by the drivers to make sure they take everyturn cleanly at 180+ MPH, and not just once but over hundreds of miles..if a driver has to take maybe 600 turns in a race and botches up 1, then they could easily lose that race on that one turn..

also the strategy by the teams on when to pit so that the tires/fuel are used the most efficiently so that the team doesnt lose any positions, the speed of the pit crew to change four tires and fill a fuel tank in about 14 seconds---it takes most mechanics about a couple hours to do that

i mean it may not seem like the most interesting sport on the surface but the intricasies of it are what make it enjoyable

I'm glad you don't like it. There are too many people at the races as it is now. You just get it or you don't. I used to dislike it too and now I'm hooked. Every major sport has it's haters. I personally don't get soccer.

I used to hate NASCAR too...but, I finally sat down and watched a race and found them exciting. The most exciting races to watch are the night races: Bristol, Richmond, & Daytona. Some of the races are boring when there is not much action. The Brickyard 400 (Allstate 400) sucked this year. It was a waste of time & money. It also helps to pick a favorite driver and see how they compete.

Just keep on hating. Your mind is made up. Or are you trying to get insight on your Hubby/boyfriend?

haha well NASCAR is awesome! sounds like you don't know much about it so you probably don't like it.You have to like to go fast! i mean if you go to a race it is so much fun and the noise is the best! you have to give credit to these drivers i mean i race quarter midgets and i don't go as fast as the nascar drivers but you have no idea how hard it is to drive. the wheel is hard to control, you have to be patient, and the line is hard too. imagine going 180 mph into a wall haha its a dangerous sport that is fast and loud and it grabs peoples attention.

I like nascar because it is exciting whenthey get into the car accidents that is the only reason i watch that and i'm jelous that they get to go so f***ing fast that just aint fair.

If you are really trying to keep an open mind you shouldn't start by saying something like "I really hate the races I find them so boring" seems to me your mind is already closed.

I really like NASCAR. Its not just about driving around in circles. There is a lot of strategy to it: fuel mileage, tires, track position, teams working together, etc...

I really hate the races I find them so boring. Im trying to have an open mind about it though.

nascar is the greatest sport ever. i've been a Nascar fan for three years now, and haven't looke dback ever since. This is Nascar and Nascar is my sport.

Defensive? Not really. We see this question everyday usually asked by someone not interested in NASCAR or the answers in the least but just wanting to get their point across by saying "I hate NASCAR...it's boring...going around in circles...yada yada yada...". You know...something like a 12 year old would say.

I like it because I grew up with it. I enjoy watching the speed, teamwork and planning it takes to win a race.
