I doubt it. They have both had successful careers and should just try and enjoy their lives away from racing when they decide to retire for good. It's sort like having a bar or restaurant, everybody thinks it sounds cool to own one until they realize how much work and is and all the headaches it creates. When it comes to team ownership you won't get out of it what you end up putting into it, for the most part.

They had there own Nationwide then Busch team about ten years ago. Bobby drove it for a while #44 slim jim car. i dont think they will start it up again tho. I would like to see them try it tho. they would have the money and Terry's son i think it is Justin could drive for them.

Most likley no. Just because they win why would they start a team? Jeff gordon is good and will most likley not start a team so yea.

Actually, Jeff Gordon just has his name to a car. Technically, Hendrick is the owner. It's just a way around a rule. If you want to call Jeff Gordon an owner you gotta call people like, Mary Hendrick (#5), JD Gibbs (#11), Walter Czarnecki (#2), John Henry (#17), Geoff Smieth (#25), Bobby Ginn (#33), Margaret Hass (#14) as owners as well.

As for the Labonte's owning a team, I don't see it.

Do you think Terry or Bobby will eventually start their own team? Both are champions and know what it takes to win so why not?

Bobby LaBonte had a busch team a few years ago. Thats actually the car Stewart first started in. So its not out of the question. Terry's son also ran Bobby's cars a few years but shut down the team when Coast Gaurd took thier sponsorship to Richard Childress

I wouldnt be surprised. Bobby already started one a few years back, but he got to much into his own career that he put it on hold. So it wouldnt surprise me if in the next couple of years he brought it back up.speedthru-laptop-sleeve
