I am wondering how many drivers will be able to make it through the whole race without retirement except those due to car problems.

A back marker car is a another race car that's much slower and/ or a lap down on the lead cars, in the video Mikka Hakkinen uses Riccardo zontas lapped car to overtake Micheal Schumacer. Report Abuse

Yes, well I hope!!
Spa is considered more of a drivers circuit and less of a horsepower circuit, so the skilled driver can overtake reasonably easily.

This is a great Spa overtake, though not the best ever as the video optimistically says, it involves using a much slower " back marker car"
