Funny, JR will never marry per him, he said once on Speed Week, he would never put a woman through the agony of watching him race, due to his fathers death,...he may sooner or later, but right now is the least of his concerns...

Petty has needed to get back in the game for years. Richard said it himself that they got behind and needed an investor to dump $$$ for R&D.

I personally would have liked it if they went public with stocks for us race fans to buy. I would have put up a good chunk.

I think he did, especially for the money that the company is going to put up for engineering and making better motors and cars. Signing Bobby Labonte for another 4 yrs was a good move on their part also. Plus it stays Petty Enterprises.

It was the right move, the Petty's haven't won a race in years and were on the verge of losing Bobby Labonte. The new owner needs to put someone other than Kyle Petty in the 45. I wish them luck.
