Should Nascar of sat Busch & Stewart for the Daytona 500??

May be...

  • They should have parked both of them for the Shootout! Just for ruining all of the other drivers cars. And what's this "Stewart didn't do anything" stuff? Have you seen any of the tapes? This is the third time, at least, and it takes two! Stewart hit Busch on the track and to make it worse, Busch hit Stewart on the pit road! It was just practice!! They should have parked both of them for the Shootout, for what they did on the track and pit road. It has nothing to do with the 500. I know it's racing, but no one takes up for the guys who really lost that had nothing to do with it!!!
  • No, not at all. This is Nascar not F1. They dont sip tea in Nascar. Let them race and sit back and enjoy it.
  • yes ..maybe it will come acroos these that action like that will not be toleratd,,this isnt the first time they had incidents///its one of many
  • not unless they sit stewart too.
  • Kurt yes, for his actions with his car.
Kurt should also have 200 points taken and a huge fine.

Tony, shouldn't be taken out of the race.
Docked 50 points for not kicking Kurt's Azz
    No fine.
  • Absolutely not! Stewart is one of the sport's most popular driver. This means that a lot of fans would be pretty ticked off with NASCAR. I don't like the idea of sitting a driver for a race (Robby Gordon is an exception because what he did was outrageous).
  • this has ben going on between these 2 for a while and maybe sitting them for this race might actually get a message acroos to them and the rest of the drivers
  • NO! Drivers use to do a heck of alot more to each other a few years ago. It's part of racing. There are too many rules as it is.
  • Looks like you have given everyone something to think about
There are two races in one year that pay good but are not a points race, if they would have to sat out the two races that wouldn't affect the owner points or championship points,
but It could make an owner think about whether he needs that in his stables or not.-
  • I say let them put on the Gloves and Finish it once and for all!!!!!
  • If Jimmie Johnson got to race in the 500 after getting caught cheating, there's no way that NASCAR should park two drivers for an altercation that happened in a non-points race that has absolutely nothing to do with the 500.

I'm not a Stewart fan and I'm no where close to being a Kurt Busch fan, but I don't believe parking them for the 500 would solve anything or even make a bit of sense.

If they were going to park either of them, it should've been for the Shoutout.
  • I don't think it would be fair to sit them out of the Great American Race. That would disappoint their fans greatly who may have bought tickets to see them race months ago. But I do think there will be another incident between the two before the year is over, and at that time, it's possible they may have to sit out a race or more. They just need to take NASCAR's advice and steer clear from one another.
  • you cant take them 2 drivers out of the 500!!!!!! let em fight thats the way racing needs to be old school now you got a bunch of punks
  • Stewart didnt do anything on the track, to deserve punishment.
Busch on the other hand did, and from the rumors, if he actually said the things being told, in the NASCAR hauler. Then he also deserved a punch in the mouth.
REPEAT, Stewart didnt do anything to deserve punishment! What happened on the track was A RACING INCIDENT, not intentional. What Kurt Busch did in retaliation was entirely intentional.
